A few short story reviews...
Once Upon a Halloween Night-I loved the detail in this story! There was some great imagery, and the ending was interesting. Great story to depict how Edna happened to become a witch!
Shadow Bars-Interesting story. I love the use of the classic "creepy house" in the story. I'm not sure if this story was written before the "Rule Book" idea came about (though I assue it was), but this line made me laugh:
A Day for Ghost to Triumph-I like how this story flips between the points of view for several different characters in the beginning and how the characters come together in the end to form two sides fight against each other. I like how the ending came together, with Herya running over her deadline. I also liked how you added some of Zeva's thoughts in, because it was interesting to read thoughts that a ghost could have around Halloween.

And now....for Landen's not so in depth reviews! YAY! Empty Candy--WAAAAAAAAAH! Very well written and teh spiff. But so sad! *wails, weeps, and mourns* If Rider reads it, she'll brick you! All Hallows Eve--Meep! I wuv it! Once Upon a Halloween Night--Exceedingly well written. I loved it! *glomps j00* Shadow Bars--Excellent! It was extremely original, well written, and spiffeh! ComicsA Spooky Halloween, Part Four--LOL. I was laughing so hard...awesome job. What's Wrong?--*claps* Great job. Mootix Madness--YAY! I haven't seen one of these in I-don't-know-how-long! *sniffles* It twas funny, but the warfy was so cute! I felt bad for him... Seafood Buffet--The joke was so cheesy, I couldn't help but laugh until my brother asked me if I was going to die yet or not. Smelly Nelly--I guessed what was going to happen the instant I read the first panel, but I loved it. The image of Sloth...priceless. I don't have time to critique the articles, but the ones I read (by NTWFers) were uber spiff. Reviews for my first none-depressing story, Oreo's Halloween, would be appreciated!

I'm really really really really really really really *six days later* really really really going to try to suqeeze in some reviews. I know, in the past, I haven't been very consistent, but I'm going to attempt to pick that up again. I like to review short stories, articles and comics, but if you'd like a series review, please ask. Thanks.

Okay, the reviews will commence... NOW! *thunderclap* And, er, if anyone wants to review my article: "A Sweet Tooth's Guide to Halloween", be my guest. Oh and keep in mind that my reviews tend to have minor spoilers, soz yeah. COMICS ...by forumers! Legendary Champions - Aww, the Wadjet es muy cute! I also like how you did the simple star background it gives the comic a nice look. I liked it! Cute joke and nice art. What's Wrong - Poor Donny must be losing hsi eyesight! Congrats again on your first publication, Frozen, the comic was funny and well drawn! Mootix Madness - Oooh, I love the colors and different texts! And I've never said this, but the whole COncept of the Mootixes (Mootix?) on the Warf is really cute! Neat Halloween joke. ^^ Seafood Buffet - Hehe! Cute joke, original and witty. The art is really cool too, I love how the characters are drawn, it's more of a cute and simple style. Me likes! The Happiest Quiggle - This was too funny! I wasn't really sure where it was going but I admit, it was hilarious! I looked back from the carved pumpkin to the quiggle several times. I laughed out loud. Smelly Nelly - Amazing artwork, the characters look so cute in their costumes! WHOA. The backdrop looks awesome! Such detail... Comical joke and Nelly's expression in panel two is priceless! I'm sorry, I've probably missed a few! Drop me a PM if I missed ya, okay?

Never Wish To Fly: Part 6- This was a nice wrap up to your series! I enjoyed the argument between Sloth and the Grundo, as well as the Owner's Manual Sloth wrote. I got a little confused a few times, because you had multiple character's actions in a single paragraph, and sometimes you didn't say the name or species of the character doing the action. Besides that, it was a great series, with a lot of good description. I look forward to more in the future!

A Spooky Halloween, Part 4 by ghostkomorichu YES! A perfect ending. So funny and original. You have a way with expressions, and I simply love how you make the poses. Marvellous! Only one request though.... I kinda had to squeeze my eyes to read some of the speach bubbles. So maybe write it a bit bigger next time What's Wrong? by can_i_get_frozen & x_bobo_x Heh! Nice point in a nice one-panel comic. The art is very detailed, and the joke is original. It just seems a shame, that you chose to use a Pea Chia. I simply overlooked him/her, and thought it was a toy ball or something. The effect on the table looks really cool - like marble Great job to both of you! Seafood Buffet by ickessler Great, chubby art! It's a very cool style The punchline is so obvious that it's hilarious (I love those xD). The details of the background is working very well with the comic. It does seem like the Hissi just switches place with the Grundo, instead of it seems like they're moving - just a minor detail. No biggie Nice job! The Happiest Quiggle by nut862 HAH! What can I say xD I started laughing right away. Genious! Simply genious! One-panel comics can really rock if you manage to find a great punchline - and you managed that to perfection. I love how you managed to show the resemblance between the Quiggle and the pumpkin. The expression is priceless xD And the Meepits Outgrabe by kittylin Heh, I really like this one. I read it a couple of times, and I kept on laughing. I can just HEAR Su that goes "...Mom?". Really cute AND funny. Great job Smelly Nelly by i_hate_backstabbers Nelly and sis is teaming up against Sloth? Wow! What a scheme! xD The background is breathtaking! I can almost see the stars glittering in the sky The joke is VERY original, and the way you make so much happen in only two panels, is amazing. See.... I knew you'd make it into the Halloween issue Great job Nina!

MADZ and/or Playmobil, could you please review my short story "SOS: MSPP!"?
6 Ways to Fool the Pant Devil - Very clever, and it had several funny parts. I especially like the luring trick. Good job!
What to Do and Not Do in Eliv Thade's Castle - This is FUNNY! There's no other word for it. It was pure brilliance to make all of the "don't do's" the "do do's" the same! That had me giggling for a long time. I also really like the monopoly reference. But now I feel sort of bad for Thade. I never felt bad for him before, but now I know that he's insane and locked in his own castle. Poor guy. Not that I'm ever going near his castle . . .
Bird Calls: an Interview with the Pteris of Neopia - Fantastic, even though it's mostly dialgue, it's filled with action and plenty of your unique brand of zainy humor. GREAT ending. What made you choose Bob? And you must write about this Hula Pteri. If I might comment on some of my favorite lines . . .
- "But the real question here is, do Pteris actually howl?" *snicker* That's good. You should ask the editor. - "The important thing was, I was going to get another shiny, shiny Neopian Times Trophy." Heh, isn't this why we all write? - Small grammar problem: "Well, the Pteri is obviously the most handsome Neopet in existence, but everyone doesn’t think so." This means that EVERYONE thinks Pteris aren't the most handsome Neopets. I believe you meant to say that NOT everyone thinks Pteris are the most handsome Neopets. - "(Lightning attempts to strike me, but the site is down, so the lightning can’t finish booting up.)" *starts laughing like a moronic hyena*

The Happiest Quiggle - Cute! The artwork is decent, certainly not bad but not great, either. Smelly Nelly - Aw, if it'd been anyone other than Sloth, that would be mean. But in this case, I'd call it justified. ;P I was seriously considering making it an elderly neopet with a cane, but I decided against it, and went for Sloth instead =P. Also, the Pant Devil was another option, and because I didn't use him, I decided to draw him on the bag instead ^_^. Thanks for the review . ComicsSmelly Nelly--I guessed what was going to happen the instant I read the first panel, but I loved it. The image of Sloth...priceless. Why thank you . I guess the joke was fairly pedictable, now that you mention it. I'm still quite fond of it, though. COMICS Smelly Nelly - Amazing artwork, the characters look so cute in their costumes! WHOA. The backdrop looks awesome! Such detail... Comical joke and Nelly's expression in panel two is priceless! Teeheehee. I thought that the Pumpkin and the Princess went along well together. Some aspects of my comic take no brainstorming or thinking, like these costumes. I wouldn't be able to imagine them in many other costumes, these fit them perfectly. This sort of stuff just naturally comes to me. Thank you for the comment on the backdrop. I was having problems with that, as a matter of fact. But I'm happy with the result. Thankies for the review, Ms. Sam ^_^. Smelly Nelly by i_hate_backstabbers Nelly and sis is teaming up against Sloth? Wow! What a scheme! xD The background is breathtaking! I can almost see the stars glittering in the sky The joke is VERY original, and the way you make so much happen in only two panels, is amazing. See.... I knew you'd make it into the Halloween issue Great job Nina! Yesyes, it is quite evil, isn't it? I hope that you know that you were the inspiration for this comic, Ms. Leoness. I never would have gotten this idea if it weren't for you ^_^. It seemed like the most simple idea to do. I had problems with finishing it on time, however . I PMed Droplet on Sunday night, and she informed me that Monday was the last day to send it in. I was anticipating for myself to be able to send it in on Wednesday, so I ended up having to stay up late to finish it. I'm proud of that background as well. I really like experimenting with my backgrounds, interiors, etc, because that's where I get to be creative and artistic, and to just try out new things. I can't do it on my characters, but the backgrounds are fun to do. Thank you for your review, Ms. Leoness ^_^.
