Yeah, but he disagreed with the war and that was one thing. But he was still proud of the fact that he served there and earned those medals - even if it was for a cause he didn't believe in (and isn't that the hardest thing, to go out and fight for something, even when you disagree with it?). He wanted to show his distaste for the war without forgetting the great things he did there. At least, that's what I would believe.... Maybe. I don't know. With the over-sized sense of rightousness that I have, I just feel there's something wrong about being proud of something you did for a cause you don't believe in. I know I could never be.

You know, Micheal Moore once suggested that Oprah should run for president. It wouldn't be a bad idea. She'd beat every other candidate hands-down, and she's very level-headed and diplomatic. It really wouldn't be a bad idea, if only she'd run. ;D
