I just finished NQII on InSaNe after what has possibly been years. Now, how long it actually took me is the question... I recall that there was a way to see exactly how long it took a person to finish NQII, but I can't remember exactly how to go about it. Does anyone here remember? Yes! You do need to start a new game, but then you just go to options, and it'll tell you. ^^ |

Hey, there's still that old idnq link in the first post, but idnq moved a while back (it's idnq.net now) and the old link leads to a fake security warning that appears malicious. Could one of the mods maybe edit that out? I'd just PM the OP but he's been offline. Nobody click it, in any case. >.> Congrats on beating insane, Chao! I've been working on that myself, I'm up to the temple of Roo. I'm almost scared to try to progress. xD |

If you pretend the NQI cave trolls are facing a 45 degree angle instead of a 90 degree angle, they look friendly. Weird.

I was already obsessed with the game by the time I started up Evil and InSaNe, so...there you go. I tried to race on Evil but...nah. Hahaha.

Okay, so...my NQI InSaNe game has gone poof because of the sheer number of years I didn't touch it, but I'm going to start again using fire and life magic. I really enjoyed using shock before so this is going to be a challenge. OH MY GOSH this art is so old.
I'm reviving this thread because...please talk to me while I mindlessly click my way to victory. Also because hello, your Secret Un-Unlockable NQII Final Boss is back and still remembers a few things about NQII so COME TO ME IF YOU NEED HELP.
I'm so bothered that I completed NQII on InSaNe but I haven't done the same with NQI. SHAKES FIST

Kat Oh God, good luck. I actually did finally beat it back in the day but it was. Unbelievably tedious. I recommend preparing a lot of audiobooks.

I have a bunch of windows open elsewhere or I'm talking to people and screaming at them. I do have some mythology podcasts on Spotify to listen to. Time to spend the next like, 4 levels hunting around Neopia City so I can just run back to old Boraxis for a spot of healing. Ugh, tried to fight a dire Lupe and wound up fleeing the battle because I KEPT MISSING Side note: UGHHHHHH my Wand of Reality and Staff of Righteous Fury are both gone after my account got hacked and disabled. Do I have to play NQII again on InSaNe? I'm pretty sure I never want to do that again. |

Ahh I remember simultaneously loving NeoQuest II, and hating NeoQuest II.
It was genuinely fun to do the battles and play around with party skills, but moving around the overworld one square at a time was pure torture. Especially on my slow computer and equally slow internet. XD

Update: I died on level 2 going on 3. Tried to fight a level 4 Bearog and kept missing when the Bearog was already down to 3HP.
Could be worse, at least I didn't die at a major boss fight later on.
