Sorry for the double post, but I think it's worth a new post: You have beaten NeoQuest® II on Evil difficulty! You are awarded a NeoQuest® II trophy... ...as well as 30,000 neopoints! (And I got Scuzzys Comb as item price ) Wohoo! Finally done! Does anyone know if there is a feature where I can look up how long it really took my to finish evil level? I just noticed this, and I think you're overdue for a congratulations, so... *throws confetti* Huzzah for beating NQII Evil! To my knowledge there isn't any such feature, unfortunately. There's the fastest wins page, but I don't think there's an individual timer. (If there were, I'd love to know how long I had my NQII Insane game on hold for before I finally finished it... I think it took me more than a couple of years. xD) The Faeries each shrink to their normal size as they die, and suddenly their tiny bodies all vanish in an eyeblink. Balthazar shakes his head and sniffs the air, as the trees around you begin to change and wither. Within moments, Balthazar's grove has become its normal, evil self, no longer enchanted by happiness. Rohane gained 2,000 experience points! Mipsy gained 2,000 experience points! Talinia gained 2,000 experience points! Velm gained 2,000 experience points! You found 2,500 gold pieces! You found 1 piercing longbow! You found 1 windskin tunic! You found 1 grand plate! You gain 1,000 neopoints! -x- YESSS!!! INSANE MODE FAERIES, DONE!! WOOT!Congratulations! I overleveled for those fairies so much in Insane that they were pushovers. xD Are you planning to do Hubrid Nox? Velm get! I haven't played this game since... Well, since 2004! And I NEVER got past Kolvars until this playtbrough! Velm is awesome; I always look forward to getting him so I can stop walking around aimlessly between battles just to recover those seven hitpoints. Have fun with his healing capabilities--do you know how you're going to spend his skill points yet?

For instance, when I click mine, it says: You are currently playing on Evil difficulty. Your Normal difficulty best time: 1695 days, 21 hours, 13 minutes, 57 seconds. I'm SO incredibly fast. >_> EDIT: The only "downside" is it doesn't tell you how long you've been playing a game. It only tells you how long you took once you finish it. But still pretty nice. ^_^

I thought there should be an option for that, but I clicked around and couldn't find it because my game was on the win screen and I hadn't restarted, so there was no way to access Options. But now I've got this: Your Normal difficulty best time: 907 days, 11 hours, 44 minutes, 52 seconds. Your Evil difficulty best time: 451 days, 19 hours, 3 minutes, 24 seconds. Your InSaNe! difficulty best time: 1247 days, 1 hour, 6 minutes, 50 seconds. Wow, over three years for Insane... I'm almost as fast as you! There should be a trophy for taking the longest. xD

I am at the end of NQ2 and since I had all ready played this on Normal and Evil on my now frozen account I knew pretty much where to go and what to do easily. However, I cannot for the life of me kill the King Tersak (Spelling?) at the end and have tried like 8 times all ready. Now my time is spent walking around MORE to kill stuff to get gold to get coma potions. o.O What am I possibly doing wrong? My characters are all maxed out, before the fight I have Mipsy and Velm put up sheilds or I'll have Mipsy do haste and when the fighting begins I have Rohane and Talinia do the hitting and have the other two do tossing potions or healing. So WHY WHY WHY can't I kill big red baddie? I didn't have this kind of trouble all those years ago. Is it just dumb luck and random like most things are OR is there something I'm just overlooking? I get him down to 1000 and he starts to suddenly kill my guys off starting with Velm. Any thoughts? Or did I mess up somewhere with skill points and should start over? *dies at that thought*

Sad to say, but it's likely random. Sudden critical hits, he starts resisting several hits, etc. I've never had any trouble with Terask, but I can understand your frustration.

Good luck, Kitty!
I recently started playing again my (previously abandoned) Evil game. I'm at Faerieland now, just outside of the Northern Watchtower. So hopefully I'll be able to finish soon instead of forgetting about it again. XD;

Good luck, Kitty! You're bound to win if you keep trying! Velm is awesome; I always look forward to getting him so I can stop walking around aimlessly between battles just to recover those seven hitpoints. Have fun with his healing capabilities--do you know how you're going to spend his skill points yet? I already spent fifteen on Group Healing Group Healing's definitely his most useful skill. After that I usually start scattering points into Group Shielding, Innate Casting Haste, and Innate Melee Defense. I never got Celestial Hammer because I never thought the damage/stun was worth the point cost, since if I'm attacking with Velm at all, then it probably means the battle isn't a particularly critical one. xD

I've only played through NQ2 once so I don't have a huge amount of comparative experience, but I know I have a tendency to choose weird allocations for my points. xD On Normal, I think I gave Velm Group Healing, Single Healing, Celestial Hammer and Group Shielding. Those choices probably wouldn't have worked out so well on Evil or InSaNe (since he's more at risk himself in those modes), but I actually found it really helpful for Velm to have a strong individual heal (for rescuing Mipsy >.>) and an offensive skill, because if your group is already perfectly healthy during a fight, Velm has a tendency to waste turns. Celestial Hammer gives him something productive to do when he doesn't need to heal, and its three second stun saved me a lot of trouble at times.

Yay for telling me about the options. I knew I had once seen my Normal time, but could not find it again. Your Normal difficulty best time: 34 days, 4 hours, 33 minutes, 26 seconds. Your Evil difficulty best time: 796 days, 11 hours, 39 minutes, 3 seconds. More than two years for Evil... who knows how long it'll take me for Insane And Normal... well that was done during a boring month with too much time at hand and the promise of a new trophy... KittyGood luck! Hope you manage to take him down properly this time.

Hurray I finally did it I walked around gathering gold to get the max of coma and hurricane potions and even a few of the speedy ones and followed advice given to me and I got him FINALLY. Like I said I REALLY don't remember it being this hard all those years ago, but no biggie. I got a nice trophy in my look up, 10k points and Mipsy's Charm Bracelet. Now for a much deserved break before trying out the original Neoquest. Thanks for all your help and advice.

Maybe it's just Velm makes grinding so much easier, but the Four Faeries went down like chumpettes.
