Actually, I think the problem was either that I attacked Hubrid Nox too soon or I didn't go about it right.  The guy hasted himself so much that he'd have multiple turns in a row, so he'd blast all my characters into oblivion. Maybe I shouldn't have fought him at all. But with Hubrid Nox officially dead, how could you not pay tribute to him by fighting im in NQII?  One more reason for me to stick to my decision to give Mipsy Slowing Skills where my favourite guide advises Damage Shields. As I never used the shields, and those few times I used them found them pretty worthless, I'm now trying my luck with slowing (and hoping that Mipsy gets enough turns to use it and not die). |

*two years pass! revive!*
So I've been going through NQII InSaNe! mode to take advantage of these newly updated random events, because tons of pageviews, amirite?
My rule of thumb so far has been to be at least 2 levels ahead of the lowest enemy you can fight wherever you stand (where level is equal to one-tenth of their hitpoints in InSaNe!) and 2 levels ahead of the recommended normal mode level for any boss in Normal mode; I must say that bosses are much easier and regular enemies are much harder, when you have to grind that much. 0_o
Just got Talinia and am about a level away from going to take down Kolvars.
(you guys should all play NeoQuest or NeoQuest II so we can chat and have trophies and weapons and random events)

Going through Nox's Fortress listening to a metal guitar cover of Mt. Moon because Chias = Zubats.
Thankfully I was already overtrained for the Four Faeries so this shouldn't take too long. >_>

Congratulations on beating Insane!!  And congrats on the good prize! I got the Staff of Righteous Fury when I beat it several years ago, haha... hadn't really been playing for the prize (it was more for the addiction) so that was all right, but now I just leave it lying around in my SDB as a trophy gathering dust. I overleveled for everything in Insane because I was so concerned about not wanting to start over.  |

Hahaha I was just recently going back through my photobucket and found this old terrible comic about building castles out of empty healing potion bottles or something, that came out of one of our discussions on this thread. Those were good times. xD Hahaa I kind of let my NQI Normal game lapse when I was at level 20 or something and was grinding on Meepits I think... I didn't really have the motivation to go back to it after that because it could get wiped at any time if I left it alone too long. But GOOD LUCK WITH INSANE YOU CAN DO IT =D *cheers* Also nice Madoka sig I love Sayaka's outfit (she's my favorite haha) |

Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times, and there are earplugs handy for when Kat starts fangirling. Why does Rohane's artwork have him Yellow but the beginning and cutscenes I've seen on IDNQ have him be White? .___. It would make more sense if he was Yellow though, since it fits with the basic color theme of everyone else.  I feel like I have to quote this and say YESSSSSS THIS IS MY ETERNAL PROBLEM. |

I've not been super up to date with the recent site activities either lately. The AG was kind of my reason for sticking around but now that I hit my 100 trophy goal, I'm kind of feeling like there isn't much to do there anymore. I'm sure I'll keep sending last-minute scribbles to the AG when I need an ego boost though. I did the exact same thing just now, haha, spent the last 15 minutes searching my name and reading our old conversations. THOSE WERE INDEED THE DAYS. I ended up laughing at several of those running NQ2 scenarios, haha. Seems like it was easier for me to make up silly fandom stuff back then... After you left I started taking fandoms too seriously. IIRC all those convos went down before I became known for being into Zelda games? Can't believe it's been that long. In the time that's passed I've had transformative experiences and falling-outs with fandoms ahaha. The earplugs also help ward off cheesy musicals; they're highly recommended. Might make it a little difficult to understand the advice, though. Don't blame us if Zombom swallows you whole because you wasted all your Blast Potions building castles.
