I love piggies, but bacon is just soooo good!!! I just don't think of it as pig when I eat it.

Ugh, I HATE bacon! And pork chops and ham, etc. I really hate any pig meat. I also hate pepperoni because it tastes like bacon if you eat Dellissio pizza.
I guess I can say that I'm a PARTIAL vegertarian, right?...Saying I don't eat pig and all...Right???

I hate pork chops and ham as well, but some sausages taste good. Especially salami. But it's been at least two months since I have eated salami, and several years since I have last eaten bacon.
Ironic, I'm kosher except that I like some forms of pork. But then, it's much easier to be kosher when you are vegetarian...
I also DESPISE AND HATE milk, as well as milk chocolate, but I do like cheese, butter, ice cream (especially gelato ice cream ... gelato is food from heaven) and various dishes containing dairy.
I love sea food, but I only eat it on special occasions considering how over fished and polluted the local water is.
Turkey, chicken, steak, hamburgers, yuck.

I don't like bacon, or any smoked stuff at that, and I don't like any sort of steak, and ESPECIALLY steak.
First of all, they contain LOTS of meat, which is a lot worse than a little bit that I eat (sometimes).
Second, it's so hard to eat! Must avoid bones, must avoid that, my hands get dirty, chopsticks are too flimsy to hold them with...

Mmmm...meat...
I'm sorry...I just can't stand the thought of being a vegetarian. Tofu is the bane of my life. I HATE it. I tried it once...blech. Meat is good, and I figure that it's just the natural food chain, you know? As long as we don't kill the animals to extinction, which I highly doubt we would anyway.

Extinction? Don't INDIVIDUAL lives matter?
And I suppose it would be part of the natural food chain if we got our meat by hunting. But farm animals are raised inhumanely. They are sometimes given so little room to move and such filthy quarters that their hooves get diseased and their legs literally fall off. At the slaughter house, animals are pushed forward by being beaten with bars, stick, bats, anything the hostlers can get their hands on. If the animal is too weak to move, it is either beaten to death or it has it's legs cut off and is dragged. Furthermore, the killing procedures used at the slaughter hous are often less than efficient, and cows and pigs often find themselves being skinned alive. Some even cling to consciousness as they are dumped into a vat of boiling water.
It's not a pretty picture at all.

Erm...thanks for the beautiful picture...I think I'll be going now to preserve my omnivortion (or some noun that means I'm an omnivore...) Hehehe...

Five good reasons to be a vegeterian: 1. Everything I have said so far about animal rights 2. It's healthy 3. Peace of mind 4. Paul Mcartny 5. Orlando Bloom (He's a vegeterian too! ;D I think I'm in love. . .)
Mr Shankly is also a vegeterian, he told me so when I neomailed him about the whole kill vs. destroy incident.

A lot of times, I do think of induvidual pet--animals...
Do any of you have a pet? Let's take a bird for example. Turn your parrot/macaw, or whatever you have into a chicken. Would you slaughter it? It's food, right there! Want it? Go and have it. It's your little pet. Yum, chicken. No? You wont eat it? Why not?
Let's take a baby lamb. Someday it will be killed and eaten. You hear the soft ring of its bell tingling against the silent air...
Oh, look! There's a rabbit! It's lot on calories and has less fat than cows, piggies, ect! Wow! Wouldn't it just be delicious? You know your friend? Ya know the person you know? He/She has a pet rabbit! Want to eat it? Hey, it's the same, right? Remember when you played with it when you were younger?
Wow, ember, you act like how Ami-chan acted when she first became a veggie-tarian. In fact... I'm acting like that too O.o
By the way, she got a cookbook for veggie-tarians. Sounds cool.

WHo is Ami-chan?
And I'm sorry if I was being offensive. I just feel VERY strongly about this thing. *huggles her little guineas and her bunny* I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! *crys*
Hope: Ereep? Darby (thinking): Yes, I know you do. I'm so cute. NOW CUDDLE ME! Mwahaha! Love ya. Nibbles (thinking): What is wrong with this girl? She's freaking me out. Put me down NOW.

Lol
Ami-chan is my best friend, and she currently lives in England. She's a net-friend. She's a veggie-tarian.
And I'm sorry if I offended people too.
Wow, I think I did something to myself -- I'm not a veggie-tarian yet, and I wrote THAT O.o
Eating meat isn't that bad ;_; As long as you're planning to stop, right?

Wow, I think I did something to myself -- I'm not a veggie-tarian yet, and I wrote THAT O.o Eating meat isn't that bad ;_; As long as you're planning to stop, right? If you're truely planning to stop, your conscious should have a LITTLE mercy on you. I guess I'm pretty lucky in the way of having few obstacles. You see, my parents are REALLY into this spiritual thing, you know, believing everything is connected and what not? I'm sort of into it, but that's not the point. The point is that I had been wanting to become a vegeterian for practically forever, then my parents decided to become vegeterians themselves and since they would have to find ways of feeding themselves anyway it made it easy for me to become one. My litle brother is still a carnivore though: my parents don't believe in forcing their children to follow their spiritual path, mostly because that's part of what our whole "religion" (it's not exactly a religion) is all about: finding the truth for yourself rather than having it be "taught" to you.

You're lucky. I'm forced to go to church. What really sucks is we gotta do 20 hrs. of community service to make our confirmation. UGH... you guys are giving me more nightmares
