<in character>I AM ZAFARA!</in character> What about other species of owner? Like anthropomorphic Earth animals, for example. (I've seen that before, I just want to see if it's allowed now.) Yeah. I don't know what anthropomorphic animals are, but as long as the human is not part Neopet it's fine. An owner can, for example, be part dragon if they want but not part Scorchio.

Yes, I know I didn't catch it the first time so now I'm stuck. So future stories should not have these things in them. No worries, though. Just a note for future reference. Whew! That's a relief! But I find this a very exciting challenge! Living in Tyrannia, I'm already used to stoneage living-- but this calls for some real imagination flexing and I think it's an awesome opportunity for us to show that nothing can hold a good writer back. What do ya say, guys? I'm up for the task, are you?

Yeah. I don't know what anthropomorphic animals are, but as long as the human is not part Neopet it's fine. It's an animal with humanlike qualities. For instance, I would daraw an otter, but she would stand on her hind legs, wear clothes (in most cases), maybe hair, and usually talk. She'd still be an otter, though- woith muzzle and whiskers and fur and tail. Sometimes they're called "furries," whether the animal in question has fur or not. For instance, the two main characters in "Mission Improbable" by oasis21 are anthropomorphic Lupes.

Heh... in a way I should probably thank these restrictions... they're what finally got me off my lazy behind to finish up Eil'gidian....

anthros are obviously allowed, for The Pet PAtrolers allways stand on their hind legs,w ear clothes, and rather obviously, talk.

I mean, the world would be alot more interesting if there were no TVs and radios and computers, and we all had to find ways to entertain ourselves. I don't usually use much technology in my stories, so i'm generally in the OK

Yeah, I think that was a mistake. \ Sorry for the late, late reply. Kids are knocking at my door like crazy...Ah, anyway, just to be sure, is there a short story in the new NT called 'Jhudora's Secret'?

What do ya say, guys? I'm up for the task, are you? All right! ;D 'Course, I've got a background of non-technology too-- Ruby the Zafara and Flex the Lupe* are from the Darigan Citadel, and Lilabelle the Ixi and Iceblue the Eyrie are from Meridell. (All those other cast members lying in wait are from different, more tech-savvy places, but I can work around that.) (Yes, I have all this worked out. Patience, my friends.) As for communication... -Neomail, of course! It could be like a postal service. (But I even have my doubts about that...) -THE NEOPIAN TIMES, SILLY! -Just WALk there, for goodness sake! (Have you seen how small Neopia is? Only a few hundred pixels wide.) Travel (when your legs get tired) "Arr, mateys, welcome to the ship! Take yer seats according to yer tickets. Grub will be serbed on the voyage. This trip: Krawk Island t' Terror Mountain!" (The pirate accent is supposed to be really, really fake. Thank you for permitting me this visuaization exersize. **starts playing record** "OPTIMISM IS FUN! OPTIMISM IS FUN! OPTIMISM IS FUN! OPTIMISM IS..." *I'm probably the only person who cares about this but anyhoo, they're the two main characters in Topsy Turvy. Flex just hasn't popped in much, seeing as I adopted him not too long ago.

Okay, one more question: In a story I plan to start soon, a character breaks into a bank. Since it's a bank, I assume it would have a security system. But, with the new rules, does this mean that I can have nothing more than a bucket of water on a door, some jingling bells, and a tripwire? Or is there room for me to write something mroe hi-tech?

Wow, I know I've included at least three of those in some of my stories. This thread should be pegged. Your request has been granted.

Neohomes have high-tech security systems-- they show close circuit TVs and satellites are part of that... just wondering, now that you happened to bring that up... since this stuff is in Neohomes, we can talk about it-- they are official "options", right?
