Here is a list of the things that could get your story/article/comic rejected: None of the things below exist in Neopia, so do not include them in your submission. If it's just a small part of your story or comic I may let it slide, but I prefer not to have any of the following-- -cars -radios -TVs -phones -planes -computers (only allowed in the Space Station) -hybrids (pets or humans mixed with different species) -anything specifically from Earth -anything too bloody I'll try and answer any questions you may have here

What if we explored a whole new totally made up world? Would that be acceptable?

As long as it's not on the same planet, it's fine. Like you could have it in a different galaxy.

Wow, I know I've included at least three of those in some of my stories. This thread should be pegged.

Wow, I know I've included at least three of those in some of my stories. This thread should be pegged. Yeah, many of the previous stories have these in them. But I was recently told that these things should not be in the stories. It's been mentioned before but I think there are still a lot of writers who still don't know, which is why I made this thread

are there rules against alternate realities? I'm not sure what you mean. I guess it would depend on what it was.

Ah, and Snowflake, I recently heard that you accepted some stories that were supposed to be rejected. You sent my acception letter on the twenty-eighth at about noon EST. Would that be a mistake?

Wait a second... in the Neopian Stock Market, there's a company called Neopian Channel One that's a television station. I suppose it must be outdated, the Stock Market doesn't really get much attention, does it? It looks basically the same as it did years ago.

No radios? Why, then, does NTV exist? Neopia's number one (and only) TV source? And what about the boomboxes/speakers/so forth that are out. I mean, we have Entertainment center in furniture, but no TV to go with it? No radio to go with it? O.o; Don't get me wrong, Feli, none of this is directed at you. It's just, I don't understand where your higher-ups are coming from with some of those things. EDIT -- Ah. I see NTV went bankrupt (well, I didn't see myself, because I can't get into Neo right now, but...) Guess that may explain that...

Yeah, but if you notice all the companies like this are bankrupt.
