Alright, since I lost interest in the last one. (Sorry guys...) Anyway, you're allowed up to three characters in this RP. Here are some brief bios of mine;
A heroic Lupe, Sir Hunter Penn is the son of the greatest Meridellian knight in history, the late Sir Arthur Penn, and Brightvale’s greatest sorceress, Lady Guinevere Penn. Idealistic, chivalrous, and honest, Hunter never refuses to help someone. However, his idealistic nature makes him far too trusting; if you betray him, though, he may never forgive you. This is especially true in the case of Kass; Kass killed his father in battle in the first war, and after Kass' defeat at the hands of Hunter, the two became sworn enemies. Despite this, he's close friends with Lord Darigan. He actually trusts the Korbat leader more than King Skarl! His trademark weapon is a sword, and his element is Light. His birthday is October 12th, in the year 980 ND, and is currently 21 years old.
A Xweetok and the eldest of the Emperor’s three daughters, Miraja is also the most rebellious. About a year older than Hunter, she is of age to be married to a suitable suitor. But because she’s the adopted daughter of the Emperor, she doesn’t have to worry about being married off, although this also means that she isn’t the crown princess despite being the eldest. After Hunter helped her save Shenkuu from a coup, she travels with him now. She has feelings for the Meridellian hero, but fervently denies them at first. She’s very independent, and uses her enchanted iron fan to control the air currents, and it can be used as a hang-glider when unfolded. She’s also a very agile and extremely competent fighter; her agility, resourcefulness and speed make up for her lack of brute strength and defense. Her birthday is November 15th, 979 ND, and is currently 22 years old.
Sirocco is an extremely unlikely ally for Hunter. After all, he’s a proud member of the Thieves Guild! Sirocco grew up penniless in the underworld of Terror Mountain. He was close friends with Kanrik; the two of them were almost like brothers. Kanrik was the more cautious, smarter one, while Sirocco was the reckless one. After he and Kanrik were betrayed by Masila, Sirocco teamed up with Hannah. Sirocco has gained a reputation for being “the thief who can’t be caught.” He views himself as a ladies’ man. He’s also a rather good cook. He’s a smooth talker, and sometimes seems to be able to influence others decisions with his suggestions. His weapons are a pair of daggers forged from a black meteorite that crashed on the top of Terror Mountain. These two daggers allow him to focus his control over Neopia’s seventh element of Space. Sirocco was born on January 15th, 979 ND, and has recently turned 23.
Anyway, the story is that there's something afoot in Meridell's parliament, and an old enemy may have returned...

( JOY!! ) Born and raised at Terror Mountain, Saly has quite a warm heart. This golden lupe with unusually big pink eyes is clumsy and naive! Those are some of the reasons why she isn't an official member of Terror Mountains' Sled Lupe Team, formed by her abundant amount of brothers and sisters, all lupes (except for her Xwee sister and adoptive eyrie brother). She's loyal, hard working, creative and random! When the small town of Neovia got cursed, a kind of side effect was born too. One of Chesterdrawer's piece of furniture was put under a spell and a funny looking creature with big blue eyes and a creepy smile was created, a mutant acara! People got rid of the bed because of the 'monster' living under it, the acara was found by gypsies, sold to the chia brothers and finally bought by a tall red xweetok, who gave it to her younger sister, Saly! It turns out the monster became close friends with the lupe and finally received a name, Mr. Spooked! Now days he is officially part of the family.

((Yay!!!))
My Characters
Saeryennan is the eldest and only child of King Altador and his wife, Kalara. A Royal Cybunny with waist-length golden-brown hair and pale blue eyes, she has the power of prophecy, which was given to her by the prophetic Air Faerie Nyvenne. She is in many ways what one would expect from a princess...she is very proper and polite, but there's another side to her. She has a heroic destiny to be the savior of Altador many times, and although she at first resented that calling, she's grown to accept and even honor it. She was born on April 16th, 988 ND, and is currently 13 years old.
Xandra is a magical Speckled Xweetok who was born and raised in Miarra, a lovely kingdom where Altador now stands. She has long teal hair and sea-green eyes. She is the younger sister of Altador's Queen Kalara. At age 11, she was kidnapped by the current Queen, Katriana. Katriana was a malevolent Fire Faerie who had overthrown her mother, Miarra. She forced Xandra to do her bidding by means of possession. This caused Xandra to resent the Faeries of Neopia, or at least most of them. At age 17, when King Altador and his ally, the later Darkest Faerie, liberated the kingdom from Katriana's iron grip, an Earth Faerie by the name of Caylin rescued Xandra, who had been abandoned in a forest. However, when Caylin left Xandra in the care of the Faerie Queen, Xandra was plagued by recurring nightmares of her five years of captivity. The wicked Faerie actually entered Xandra's dreams and she would wake up possessed. In a desperate attempt to set herself free, Xandra turned all the Faeries into stone. However, Katriana had already been stone at that point (hence only being able to possess Xandra through dream states), so she was set free. To be extra cruel, she possessed Xandra one last time, forcing her to murder Hubrid Nox. Xandra went insane as a result and brought Faerieland to the ground in burning revenge and fury. Since then, Xandra has returned to sanity and returned to her sister. She and Saeryennan recently saved Altador from Katriana. However, she still blames Katriana for the whole ordeal, and doesn't trust any Faerie outside of Nyvenne and Caylin. She was born in 973 ND and is 28 years old.
Caylin is an Earth Faerie possessing of long brown hair the color of a tree trunk which she keeps tied back and brilliant eyes of deep green. She is skilled in archery and comes from an era of more powerful Faeries than those of today. She used to work for Queen Miarra and tried (and failed) to tutor a young Katriana along with her friend, a Light Faerie named Calphurnia. She is not superstitious like Calphurnia is, and thus they will always quarrel over that. She and Xandra developed a strong mother-daughter bond after Xandra's rescue, which is why Caylin was able to forgive her so easily. She is currently 25 in Faerie years.

Awright. Let's get this party started. Ava is an island Aisha with a mess of frizzy brown hair and fifteen years behind her. A natural workaholic who can shrug off stress, she has been forced into this position by her family and nearby faeries. She's blessed with a piece of a faerie's soul, which gives her limited magical abilities as well as a few shared traits with the light faerie Gaelle. Since early childhood, she has been pestered by other faeries suspecting that she would become "someone great". Apart from her hardworking tendencies, she's nowhere near this, but the faeries believe every prophecy that comes their way and so they've kept an eye on her for years. Despite--or in spite of--these issues, she's a huge tease who loves nicknaming and poking fun at others. All the same, she has suck-up tendencies and is always desperate to curry someone's favor. Though otherwise defiant, she will do whatever an authority figure asks of her. Currently she's a year ahead in school. A Maraquan Ixi of nineteen years, Nina is the oldest in the family and struggling to find a job. She's extremely protective of Ava--all children, really--at her other siblings' expense. Dislikes asocial behavior and finds shy people frustrating and cowardly. She also dislikes adult push-overs while tolerating and pitying young ones—and hating those who take advantage of little kids, for they are impure adults. Outgoing and very much a joker, so she and Ava fit together well. Hot anger. Prefers fight over flight. Humble. Anthea--or "Anthy"--is a red Xweetok aged seventeen. Also pressured to do well and succeeds; she's officially recognized as a rising scholar and thus has access to the castle's library. Because of this, she often catches sight of or overhears suspicious acts. She is a stubborn, bookish, intelligent, serious (though not altogether humorless), caring but often detached, jaded, fond of poetry, shows anger coldly, and tends to shirk contractions. She and Ava are constantly at each other's throats.

((You guys seem to have pretty active roleplays ^^ Mind if I join?)) Howler, a half-Darigan, half-Tyrannian Lupe, ran away from his pack when he decided that their destiny was not the one he wanted for himself. Feeling that he could better serve the world as a Protector, a guardian. He serves as an unofficial knight of Brightvale, wearing an armored chestplate crafted by Brightvale's finest armorers. Few pets know of Howler, as he was never formerly declared a knight for fear that his hybrid features would cause mistrust, and because he usually fights monsters and bandits in the forests of Brightvale's borders, including the edge that borders Meridell. He's about 21 years old. Nemo, a spotted Kougra, was stolen from his home and trained to be a Battledome legend. His body responded to the training; his spirit did not. After the death of his best friend, Nemo escaped the clutches of his "owner", carrying his friend's Qasalan Double-Bladed Staff (disguised as a Desert Fan Staff) and shield. He has since found a home with the human Tiger and four other pets in Brightvale, but he enjoys his solitude, often going on long journeys by himself. Unlike most Kougras, Nemo is lean, fast, cannot roar, and has non-retractable claws. He is about 24 years old.

Hunter looked at the night sky from his bedroom window. His cottage was built to accommodate up to seven Neopets, but for now, it was just him and his wife, Miraja. They had been married for almost a year now, and they were getting along very well. Hunter got up out of the bed and prepared to make breakfast for Miraja, who was still fast asleep in their bed. He was rather glad that the others weren't around; normally, mornings would be noisy with Zarkos yelling at Fang for pulling another crazy stunt, or one of Vulcan's inventions going haywire and burning Tyranno's tail...
"There's the citadel," He said as he looked out the kitchen window, "It's been three years since the last war, but it feels more like seven." Hunter took Neggs he had growing on the windowsill and tossed them in a pot. He was unaware that someone was lurking around his house.
"Surprise!" Sirocco leapt through the window and sheathed his two daggers, each curved like a hook. The Skunk Zafara almost knocked over Hunter's kitchen table, and dusted himself off after his landing. "How are things with the missus, buddy?"
Normally, a thief and a knight would be enemies, but not with Sirocco and Hunter. The two had saved each-others lives Goddess knows how many times. "I didn't think I'd see you here, Sirocco..." Hunter was still in his sleeping clothes, a tunic and some baggy cotton pants. "You aren't getting in trouble with the law again, right?"
Sirocco started to scratch the back of his head. "Well, I did have a run-in with Librarian Bob last night when I 'borrowed' some books from the royal library. I tell you, that old Yurble really knows how to throw a punch."

The vision had taken her unawares. Then again, most of them did.
Princess Saeryennan could remember every detail...but then, there weren't very many details. She knew that she had seen Meridell, and a young White Lupe who looked like a knight. She thought it could possibly be her father and she was seeing into the past again, despite what Caylin had said about the probability that the visions of Xandra's past had been implanted in her mind.
She didn't care that her father forbade her from going to Meridell, either. Such a vision could only mean one thing: the place was in danger, and she was needed.
So that night, coincidentally the very same night Hunter was looking out of the kitchen window, Saeryennan waited until her parents were asleep. That was when she tiptoed into their room and slipped into the secret passageway to the Hall of Heroes observatory. Because she had worried the whole time about getting caught, she'd closed the passage door quickly - and thought she'd heard someone's footsteps.
She ran frantically. It was only now that she realized she didn't even have a weapon. Well, there was no time to go back and get one. Panting, she stepped into the observatory and skittered out the Hall of Heroes.
"Saeryennan! What are - ?!"
She turned and looked up into a pair of sea-green eyes before taking in the rest of the figure of her aunt, Xandra.
"Saeryennan!" Xandra scolded. "What do you think you're doing, leaving like that?! Your mother and father will - "
"I don't care!" the princess shouted. "I had a vision of my young father in Meridell. I have to go!"
Xandra planted her face in her paw.
"I really don't know if that's your father, Saery. It's probably just another White Lupe. There are a ton of them in Neopia." She sighed. "Nevertheless, I must confess that...I think you should go."
Her expression changed to one of concern.
"You had a vision, and I think that means something. No doubt Nyvenne would agree if she were told. But I should come with you. You're still so young, Saery."
She put one arm around the Cybunny.
"Okay," said Saeryennan. "Let's go."
The two of them made their way toward a ferry. All the while, Xandra knew she would need to contact her sister and tell her where they had gone. Nyvenne could probably do it, or Caylin...

"So, what's for breakfast?" Sirocco sat down at the table, completely nonchalant about the fact he'd stolen books from the library. He knew Hunter or Miraja would eventually chastise him, so maybe he could enjoy some breakfast before things went sour. He chugged back a bottle of milk
"Broiled Neggs and spring water." Hunter gestured out to a herd of fully grown, three-foot-tall Capriors grazing in the grass, hopping and fluttering about. "And if you're wondering where that milk you just drank came from..."
"PFFFT!" Sirocco spat out the milk, as he hated its sour taste. "This stuff is almost curdled enough to be considered cheese! How do you stand it?!"
Hunter laughed. "Well, for one thing, we don't drink Caprior milk. I was leaving it to curdle into cheese until you ruined it. You're a chef in your spare time, Sirocco," Hunter sliced the Neggs into neat little slices with his sword as he spoke, "You should know not to try anything that's been left out for a while."
Miraja walked down the stairs groggily, rubbing her eyes. "Urgh, I feel like I was just trampled by a Blurgah..." She sat down at the table, her long hair a mess from a rough night's sleep. She didn't even notice Sirocco.

"Maybe we should go back..." Mr. Spooked's faint voice whispered with worry as he and his friend, Saly, went deeper inside the woods. With backpacks filled with food and survival guides on their backs, the two friends made their way to Meridell!
"Naw! Trust me, we sled lupes have an excellent sense of direction!" Saly rolled her eyes with her big pink nose stuck on a map they were carrying, looking at it was quite troublesome since both neopets were quadrupeds.
"Yes but...you're not part of the official race team..." The mutant acara mumbled, but Saly ignored him.
"Hey look, it's almost morning...and how nice, a cottage! We're not far from Meridell, our quest for adventure shall e fulfilled!" Saly stuffed her chest with air and started walking faster on the direction of the house. "Come on, it's really big! I think it's an inn!"
"But-...never mind." Mr. Spooked sighed, Saly was already knocking on the door.

((*POPS IN* Hi. Sorry I'm late. ;D Akasha is a white korbat, born and raised in Darigan. She lost her parents very early in life when the orb's curse spread and almost succumbed to the sickness herself. Akasha was placed into an orphanage where she grew up. She was put out on her own just after the first Meridell-Darigan war, at around age 14. After Kass took up power and rumblings began about a second war, she found herself pulled into an underground group of rebels who were opposed to Kass' reign. Akasha was a part of various attempts to dethrone "Lord" Kass and foil his plans. Eventually, the group was ratted out and forced to flee the Citadel in order to keep the operation (and themselves) alive. During the final battle of the second war, Akasha saw the downfall of Kass. Swearing loyalty to the now redeemed Lord Darigan, she and what was left of the rebellious group began to work under him in an effort to restore the Citadel.
Akasha is somewhat hot-tempered and moody and finds it difficult to trust many. She is around 19-20 in this roleplay. There. It's not crammed full of nice details, but roleplaying helps me to develop ideas. <3))

Snags and snags--Ava was hitting one after another. She tugged furiously on the hairbrush her mother had demanded she run through her hair--it was an awful mess, she'd said with a scowl--while shouting over her shoulder at her older sister, Anthy, who seemed determined to somehow anger her. Nag, nag, nag--nags and snags. After the brush came to an abrupt stop, having hit a tangle of knots, she whipped it out of the forest of curls and threw it to the ground. There it clattered, and there it would stay for the rest of the day, collecting dust as she went about her daily business.
With books pressed against her chest and hair tied into a careless ponytail, the island Aisha left her cottage with Anthy's pleas behind her. Not for long, though, as the red Xweetok quickly got a hold of her missing tomes and sprinted forth to catch up. She was by Ava's side within seconds. Pant, pant, pant. Ava scolded her sister inwardly while smiling sardonically. She never exercised. Always hunched over those books. She was one to talk, though, as a dull headache reminded her--she'd spent much of the last night studying Darigan history.
"Oh, Fyora," moaned the Aisha jokingly, swaying back and forth. A book slipped from her arms and hit the ground, sending up a small cloud of dust. Anthy gave her a dark glance and she hastily picked it up, then resumed her routine. "Anth. Anth. Anth." She spun around and looked the Xweetok in the eye. Her response: a blink. "I swear, if I have to memorize another useless trivia thing about some war or another, my brains are going to come out through my ears."
"Do not be disgusting, Ava," Anthy sighed, pinching her forehead. Ava ignored her.
"How do you stand it? Good Fyora, how's your brain even in one piece after staring at words, words, words, for hours and hours?"
"My word tolerance is higher than yours, evidently," muttered the Xweetok. "Can we please get going?" The two began walking, Anthy's pace more hurried than her younger sister's--she was all too eager to get to the castle and escape her sister's rambles. She tolerated it for the next few minutes as they passed cottage after shack after shop, humoring the Aisha with half-baked replies. Then she gave up, picked up the pace, and--subtlety be darned--sprinted ahead, shouting, "They need me over at the castle! Have fun with whatever you are going to do!"
Ava snarled.

The ferry pulled up at Meridell's coast. Xandra and Saeryennan stepped out.
"So..." Xandra said. "Where should we go first?"
"Xandra! Princess!"
An Earth Faerie with a bow in her hand and a quiver on her back landed in front of the pair.
"What are you doing here?" she asked. It was obvious she was happy to see them.
"Caylin!" Xandra said joyously, giving the Faerie a hug. "I miss you!" Letting go, she added, "Did you find Queen Miarra?"
Caylin sighed. "Not yet...and what is the princess doing here?"
"I had a vision of this place," Saeryennan replied. "A White Lupe was involved."
The Faerie gasped. "Was it - "
"It was too young to be King Altador," Xandra said with a sigh. "Yet Saery here is convinced that it had to be King Altador and the vision was of the past."
"Listen, Princess," Caylin said in a half-whisper. "The visions of Xandra weren't brought about by your own power. It was someone else who put them - "
"Yes, yes, I know!" the princess retorted.
Caylin sighed again. Xandra understood.
"I think something's going on up at the castle," the Faerie added. "We better check it out."

Miraja seemed perfectly content to ignore Sirocco as she brewed some tea from the water Hunter had given her. She muttered some Shenkuuvian curses under her breath; she wasn't in a particularly good mood today.
"Sooooo...." Sirocco attempted to break the awkward silence. "Anyone want to play poker-"
Knock! Knock! Knock! There was a repeated rapping at the door to the cottage, and a child's voice rang out. Miraja got up from her seat and growled as she opened the door. "No, this is not an inn, and I am NOT interested in paying any marrow tax - Oh." Miraja tried to smile at the two children, even though one was obviously not... Normal. "Uh, come in. I guess. You kids shouldn't be out alone this early."

"I told you this is not an inn, Saly." Mr. Spooked sighed in his quiet tone. "Thank you for your hospitality, miss!" The acara smiled happily and Saly nodded in agreement, wagging her tail furiously, both were feeling relieved to enter a normal house again, camping is fun but not for an entire week in a forest! Not to mention they got lost three times thanks to Saly's excellent sense of direction.
"Thanks again, we've been having some trouble finding Meridell! We've been after adventure but until now, nothing big on our way...heh..." Saly shrugged timidly along with Mr.Spooked.
