Tentative suggestion here, but I remember reading through Scar's D&D campaign and looking forward to the abandoned Serenity RPG Rider had going and it's been such a long time. I want another one! I'm certain I can coax Scar into GMing, but I wanted to know a) who would be interested and b) what you'd be interested in playing?
^-^

Oh, man, I would love this. I've wanted to play an RPG for a while! Just about anything would be fine with me (as long as it's okay for newbies - i.e. not horriblyinsanely[needlessly] complicated and confusing).

I'd be interested. =D For system, I know D&D 3.5 best (though 4.0 could also be cool. *shrug*), but any system that can be explained and played online would be cool.

I've been meaning to join another RPG... Or even DM one. ^^ I'll probably be interesting in whatever happens.
I personally prefer the DnD 3.5 rules.

I've never participated in an RPG, but I'd be interested in trying it out. =D I'd be fine with anything, I guess, providing it's not too overly complex. ^^;

Ooh! =D I've been curious about RPGs for a while! I'd have interest in one, provided, as others have said, it's fairly easy to understand.
... And pretty. >.>; Prettiness is a must.

Oooh. Me! Mememememememe! I've been wanting to try some pen-and-paper stuff for a while, and this looks like an awesome opportunity. (Well, it's not quite pen and paper if it's done online but WHO CARES.)
Again, like so many others, I'm not too picky as long as it isn't too complex.

OMG Yes No preference, I just want to actually play a tabletop game for once in my life and also I want the geek cred. =D

I was bored and spotted this under New Topics and immediately thought Sarn meant video game RPG xD I'd love to DM another RPG on the forum and I'm open to whatever system everyone prefers. I've already recommended a few RPG systems to Christos a while back here but if you know something I haven't recommended before such as Pathfinder RPG (A cleaned up and streamlined version of Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition) or FATE RPG (The RPG system used for the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space RPG :3) feel free to mention it. I'm always open to ideas ^_^ ... Though my preference would be the Dragon Age RPG, primarily because it has a low learning curve ^_^

...I have only the vaguest sort of idea what an RPG entails, but I've been mildly curious for ages, so I will watch with intrigue! =D And maybe learn something!

*snogs* Thanks love. Do I get brownie points for snogging the DM? Anyway, I'd be quite keen for the DA RPG, except that it's not open source. I'm more interested in a Savage Worlds campaign. The system is easy and we can come up with any setting we want. Forget Space Cowboys, we can RP SPACE COWS! Moo.

System doesn't matter so long it's available online for free. xD I can learn anything quickly. ((...I mean, I still have a preference for 3.5, because I know it already, but it's complicated, so I wouldn't expect to get to play it.)) Savage Worlds seems decently simple and flexible, though.

Went ahead and spent 10 seconds looking at the TvTropes page for Savage Worlds after Shade mentioned it and because I remembered it from some discussion somewhere of how to turn the X-com computer games into a tabletop game. xD (It was recommended because apparently combat is quite deadly in that game.) Point Buy system is always good (especially after I learned about World of Darkness from reading Genius: the Transgression <<).
