Back by popular demand, it's the sequel to the Magical Girl Art Exchange! If you're unfamiliar with The Magical Girl Art Exchange, let me explain it to you real quick: it was a secret santa-style art exchange where people gifted each other with magical girl-versions of the character of their choice! This exchange will be the same idea. Each participant who signs up for this event will give a list of their favorite characters (whether it be their own, their friends' (with sufficient permission!), or for a popular franchise they really like). Then, after the deadline, each person will be pseudo-randomly assigned to create something for another participant. What the gifter creates will be based on at least one character the giftee specified in the list! But there are a few twists this time! This piece of art can be a written piece or a visual media piece (unlike last time, when it was restricted to drawings only!) *and* the new "theme" or "twist" on the character is different: instead of creating a magical-girl version of the character, your job will now be to change the character's genre! So if somebody gives you a character that belongs in epic fantasy, feel free to change them so that they can belong in a sci-fi setting. Or maybe if the character you're given is a gritty film-noir detective who plays by his own rules, make it so he wouldn't be out-of-place on Sesame Street! The world is yours! Now, because "genre-swap" is a bit broad, you may have trouble choosing what genre to swap a given character into. In this case, my advice would be to try and pick a genre that both you and the person you're drawing/writing for would enjoy! Here are some Formal Guidelines:1. Adhere to proboards + forum rules of conduct. 2. At minimum, gifted art-pieces should be colored and shaded with one character. 3. At minimum, gifted writing pieces should be at least 1000 words long for prose, edited and proofread. 4. You may request modifications to rules 2 + 3 as long as the time investment is roughly similar(for example, drawing two non-shaded characters or a short poem, or a longer script-format, or something.) But tell me about them first. 5. You may introduce nonhuman characters (obviously) as long as they are humanoid... or as long as you're okay with the artist/writer shrugging their shoulders and drawing/writing them human if they don't feel as comfortable with it or whatever. 6. Do not trashpost. Regardless of the genre you choose to depict, try your best with your piece! 7. Try not to post your piece too publicly until the show-off date. 8. If you have questions/objections/whatever, please ask me. Thanks. 9. Defy these rules and I will send you many pictures of bees via PM. If you want to sign-up, use this handy-dandy form! Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4): If including non-original characters, Include at least two different "franchises" your gifter will likely be familiar with, or can read up on fairly quickly. References or descriptions: Include some photo references (or a description) and writing samples (or something that gives a good idea of who the character is) here! A summary of the character (mandatory!): Give a summary! Tell us who they are! Preferred Genres: List 'em here! You may also specify at maximum ONE genre you don't want them to show up in. One genre means one genre--whether that's a subgenre or whatever. Extra notes: For extra notes! Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: Yes/No DEADLINE FOR SIGN-UPS: Probably June 14th at 11:59pm EST (June 15th at 3:59am GMT for the Euros) ASSIGNMENT DATE: June 15th SHOW-OFF DATE: You can publicly post your gift on or anytime after June 30th FINAL DEADLINE: July 15th at 11:59pm EST (July 16th 3:59am GMT) People unshackled by the constraints of genre (aka: the participant list):?? ( Moni) slice of [insert genre here] ( Twillie) genre fiction/fantasy ( Thorn) doesn't actually watch film noir ( June Scarlet) peddler of comedy ( Lizica) many animals can, indeed, cross the road ( Ginz ❤) doesn't like girls who are mean ( Liou) too much historical inspiration ( Celestial) fantasylord ( Pixie)

I'd love to sign up too! :3 Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4): - Bloody Mary
- Zathandria Blossom
- Jonathon Water
References or descriptions: Bloody Mary: Zathandria Blossom: Zathandria is a protagonist to my Neo comic series, Blossoms! First set of comics, mainly Zathandria-centric and introduce a number of her quality. She likes to travel, she gets annoyed by people easily, but she still shows that she cares in her own ways. More recent arc that shows her confrontational side, her sense of humor, and how she keeps secrets. Jonathon Water: Jonathon is another protagonist of Blossoms! His intro arc (I'd recommend Part 9 for his backstory) I feel like this one shows more sides of him (He first shows up in Part 5, part 13 is the last comic before another story shift) A summary of the character: Bloody Mary: She's an alien mirror demon, constructed like a Frankenstein's monster but without the murderous streak! She resides in a mirror and can be summoned by anyone who does the proper chant, although her true Keeper is a human named Liz Bishop. At once point they were once the same being, a completely different person, but that's a long story. Mary has her own thoughts and desires like a person, although she's a bit more simplistic in how she views the world. She can startle easily and takes time to trust a stranger, but when she's close to someone she's very affectionate and protective. She doesn't sleep (instead she goes back into her mirror), she hunts wild animals for food, she likes to be outside in the forest. Current genre: Urban fantasy Zathandria Blossom: Tyrannian Aisha, 18 years old, lives in a house at the top of Terror Mountain with her guardian, adoptive sister, and this weird guy that moved in with them. She prefers spending free time alone because people are annoying, and some of her favorite hobbies include reading, travel, and clothing. She's blunt with a snarky sense of humor, and if someone's being a bother she usually lets them know. She likes her family, though, and she supports those she cares for. Current genre: Slice of life fantasy Jonathon Water: Human, 24, raised in Faerieland Castle by his adoptive family, but now he's living in Terror Mountain and it's all complicated. Very shy and quiet, he likes to keep to himself and those he already knows well. This is usually his Faerie guardian, Juniper, or adoptive sister, Lily, although he's getting to know the Blossoms family better now. Very interested in magic, both spell and tools-wise, and both his career and hobbies center around this. Also enjoys rock and goth music and aesthetic. Current genre: Slice of life fantasy Preferred Genres: My natural go-to's are slice of life and domestic stuff, so I'm cool with anything besides those! Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: Yes!

Borrowing Twillie's format- very tidy! Possible sacrifices: - Astrophelle
- Nyx Nightshadow
- Izazdin/Zazz
- Floren
References or descriptions: Astrophelle: Astrophelle looks like a deep-blue, starry night sky! Her face is dotted with sparkly star-like markings, and a red nebulaic birthmark on her left cheek. The rest of her body is covered in such stars and patterns, in varying colours. She's a very sparkly gurl! Her hair fades from orange through to yellow...the pretty colours of sunset! Her eyes are ordinarily blue, but glow pure white when she conjures her shiny magical Starlight Wings (demonstrated by her tabletop mini in the final linked post.) A headshot of Astro is third from the bottom of this post by Moni! Skin is a little light and the red nebulaic birthmark is missing from her left cheek...because I hadn't decided on that when this was drawn. ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2721316/threadWIP miniature (right), which better reflects her skin tone (this is the kind of outfit she might wear for a performance): Tabletop mini, with a nice shot of her 'starlight wings' and her golden adventuring robes. ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2725721/threadWriting Samples (link to tumblr)Post-first session ('blind faith' is an important theme with Astrophelle. One of her biggest flaws is a tendency to put full faith in her guiding angel.) Cute scene on a boatNyx Nightshadow: Izazdin/Zazz: Also a terrible person, if less outright destructive about it. Izazdin is a grey-skinned drow elf with long, flowing white hair. He tries to be every bit as fashionable as Nyx, performing as a well-dressed street magician when not adventuring. He loves fancy dresses, robes, tunics, doublets...like...fancy stuff of all kinds! As an adventurer, he dresses in only slightly more practical leather 'armour' (and will lecture you at length about why his spider-patterned boots are VITAL EQUIPMENT), and has a tendency to get injured the moment he stops hiding behind his much bigger, stronger crush. Zazz is the character in my avatar! His eyes glow and he has no pupils. But at least they're nice and shiny in the dark, because in the daylight they're just off-white. Which is less nice. Here be the proper art on the artist's insta. Zazz by Celes (he loves reading cute shipping/pining. And also fanciful adventure tales. We decided he would like shoujo manga.) Two Zazzes by Moni (I think the magical girl one and Celes' art are the best references for his general face structure.) Samples! Of! Writing!!! I used to write Zazz a lot, so. There are manymany. Here are a few on-forum examples. When the ranger with +3 to wisdom fails the save (and your rogue with -3 wisdom passes. Meanwhile a brainwashed paladin with winged boots was chasing a fighter on a flying broom in the sky above...love and miss this party!) Infatuated dork aspires to be a weird attic-dwelling cryptid Zazz with River again (okay I'll stop. I just love them together.) Looks like this was the second last time I wrote Zazz! Kind of cute. Floren: They have no visual reference. But! I included Percy as an option in the previous exchange thingy I did, so now my Actual Favorite Character from werewolfstory gets a turn. Floren is 26 years old, six foot even, and fair-skinned. They are described as having curly golden hair, amazing cheekbones and wide, expressive hazel eyes. They were designed after the stereotypical masc-leaning androgynous angels...they probably have a most excellent jawline as well...verygood. Hey look I wrote stuff!Main fic Obscenely long. Most significant chapters for their character are chapter one (in which Floren is tired but mostly okay), chapter six (in which they're falling apart completely), and the epilogue (which is just kind of sweet.) Condensed first two chaptersFiclet post-story shippystuff (I guess gives better insight into their 'normal' moods?) A summary of the character:
Astrophelle
While Astrophelle's twin brother is entirely human, some manner of celestial blessing means that my gal is a sparkly blue lady who can: manifest shimmering wings of light, strike down her enemies with blasts of golden radiance, and protect or heal her allies with various magicks! Until very recently Astrophelle traveled the land as a dancer and storyteller, helping people with all manner of problems and brewing them her favourite lemony tea. More recently, she's teamed up with her twin and some new friends and fallen into that Adventuring Lyf (she faced a dragon at level three it was WILD.) More than anyone, Astrophelle trusts the angel Evlavei, who visits her in her dreams and is responsible for some of her powers. They talk and hug a lot. It's very sweet. In the most recent of these dreams he reminded her that redeeming Bad People (which is what Astro is all about) will not always be easy, and that to do so she will sometimes...need to lose...but that when that happens, he will be there to lose alongside her! That was. The bestest scene! Astrophelle loves deeply and easily, and willingly puts her life on the line for her friends time and time again! Current genre: High fantasy Nyx Nightshadow A former superhero on the popular reality show Hero City, Nyx turned to villainy after being booted from the lineup. She was definitely morally grey before that- during a Clocktower Incident, she wanted to risk a large number of civilians in order to defeat a villain- but after she left the show it became clear just how little Nyx cares for others. She considers her former roommate, the heroic Zenith, to be her arch-nemesis. Nyx's elaborate false backstory- that she is an alien princess, the sole survivor from a destroyed planet- is to cover up the fact that she's really just a normal young woman who was gifted a magical and somewhat sentient amulet by her grandmother. The amulet responds to Nyx's physical and emotional states, and towards the end of the plot started to malfunction because it was so scared for her life. Nyx designs and sews all her own costumes...and has a bit of a crush on her ally, The Queen, that was never really addressed so shshshshhh. She will deny all such claims! Current genre: Superhero IzazdinA drow (a kind of grey-skinned, subterranean-dwelling elf) whose father is a powerful wizard. Although Zazz too was raised as a wizard and has an incredible memory for magical theory, he fell short of his family's expectations when it comes to actual spellcasting, showing only a glimmering of magical potential (one of his favourite tricks is to make his eyes appear red, as they are yellow and he thinks red is far more attractive!) His parents wanted to marry him off so he could still be of use, which Zazz was. Not super hyped for??? So he fled to the surface, exchanging wizarding secrets for the chance to live among surface folk. Zazz was performing as a street magician when he was offered the chance to go on a quest for his new monarch and, with a love for cheesy adventure novels spurring him on, decided to become a mercenary and go on this shiny thrilling adventure!!! He's had a pretty miserable time since. Zazz did make some new friends though! He's pretty smitten with one of them but, with that being this guy (art commissioned by River's rper, it's so dang cool???)...why wouldn't he be? The other good thing is that his magical abilities seem to be getting stronger with all this practice, which he is quietly very happy about. But really...Zazz just wants to go somewhere where he can feel safe for TEN MINUTES, read a book by a nice fire, and fall asleep without fearing for his life. For once. Just once. Would be nice! (Zazz overuses the word 'like', can be a bit ditsy, but has an excellent memory and knows a lot about magical theory, adventure and romance tropes, and spiders.) Current genre: High fantasy FlorenFloren is a member of the town guard, along with their older brother Nicholas ("Nico") whom they have a...somewhat tense relationship with after the events of the story. Floren is typically very polite, compassionate and forgiving, but their emotions strongly influence their behaviour, especially when under pressure. As a child Floren used to take on allllll the schoolyard bullies who were after their older brother, much to Nico's embarrassment. That loyalty carried on into adulthood and their relationships with friends and colleagues, for sure. Current genre: Not sure. Mystery maybe? Supernatural? idk there are werewolves and the story is about finding out who the werewolves are, anyway. Preferred Genres: Uhhhhh. Anything is cool! I'm a sucker for noir-ish stuff and urban fantasy. I love vampires also- thanks Liou for reminding me with their post! Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: Yeah, sure! As long as I get plenty of warning.

I'm not late yet!! \ o / I'm super excited about this, I can't wait to genre-swap somebody's lovely character! x3 This took a while to fill out, but hopefully it's got some useful or fun refs. Including spoilers for some of the characters, but. It's been years. Here be spoilers. xDPossible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4): Piper Boudreaux (Mafia 3), Babewyn (Medieval), Madge Oddmund (Hero City), or hmm...Tracy Chaetura (Mafia 2)? References or descriptions: Piper: I also like Twillie's format of using spoilerboxes, so I might borrow that part, too! (Though I didn't do the "current genre" thing. It's a great thing to note, but I'm not really sure what to qualify the mafia games as? x'D Whodunnits? Murder thrillers? Tragicomedies?) Anyway, Piper refs! Piper's from Mafia III. Piper's Intro PostThe Great Webster TrapHeaven-swiftly-turned-hellThat One Weirdly Unfunny PostI'll stop now....I think the avvie is literally the only time I’ve ever colored Piper? Sort of a size reference for how big Webster is. (Obviously you don’t have to include Webster in what you do, but he’s important to Piper, so just so you can know what he looks like. xD) Babewyn: Madge: Madge comes from Hero City, but I only got one post in before real life attacked. So one can mostly read about Madge in her spin-off fic. But it's long, so of course I wouldn't fault you for not reading all of it. xD To get an idea of Madge's character, though, you could read the latter half of chapter one at least. (Initial street cart) (Later street cart) Tracy: A summary of the character (mandatory!):- As a nature photographer, Piper has been furiously trying and failing to capture a photograph of the local giant ghost crab (named Webster) for so many years that she’s gone off the deep end just a smidge. Stubborn and proud, would blame others and do awful things before she ever admits to being wrong. Jerk with a heart of murderer. Does not care about you, and would literally kill you if it meant that you would just stop bothering her and leave her alone so she can finally get her Webster photo, dangit. Very prone to faceplants, slapstick, and epic fails at the hands (claws?) of trollmaster Webster. Also a member of a local mafia gang, but she’ll always prioritize Webster over everything else, including their nefarious dealings. - Babewyn is your friendly neighborhood talking gargoyle! Originally carved by sculptor Aldrich Finnegan to convey water from the sides of a church, but was accidentally brought to life (along with all of Aldrich’s other sculptures) by a magic spell. Mischievous and very lively, loves to cause trouble, but fiercely loyal to the people she cares about. - Do you need merchandise? Of course you do! Everyone is a potential customer, after all! And Madge Oddmund has got you covered and is here to upsell you! Madge is a quick, resourceful, opportunistic, self-serving street cart merchant who’s been cutting corners and avoiding paying royalties for years and would really rather keep it that way. Making money’s the important thing, right? Jerk with a heart of entrepreneur. Or, jerk with a heart with hidden flecks of gold? Or maybe jerk with a heart of “listen, you idiot, if you die on my watch, I’ll freaking kill you.” - Tracy is a conspiracy theorist who's convinced aliens are to blame for most of the Bad Stuff that happens to the town of Wafflenet during the story. But not to worry, tin foil hats will protect everyone and save the day! Paranoid and not always super bright, but maybe makes up for it in her enthusiasm to help out, her determined optimism, and her tin foil dexterity. /blatant copy-paste from the Magical Girl ThreadPreferred Genres: I’m pretty open to being surprised or entertained by most genres. =D But I’d like to request that you please don’t put anyone into the horror genre. (It’s not really my jam, and I’d probably just be creeped out by it. xD) Extra notes: Have fun! =D Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: Probably not this time, I feel like I’ve got enough on my plate at the moment. xD

Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4): - Ink, aka Ronjono "Ron" D'Angela
- Jess and Taffy
- Beatrice Bizelli
References or descriptions: Ink (Superhero, film noir): www.neopets.com/~RonjonoIntro Blurb: I'm Ronjono, and I'm a Defender of Neopia known as Ink. No, I don't wear a costume, or fight villains out in the streets; I'm not that type of Defender. I'm the type of Defender who goes unnoticed by your average Neopian, especially, well, when I use my Shadow powers to hide in the shadows. Did I mention my powers? I can manipulate shadows, and become nothing but my shadow. Plus I have good night vision. Pretty cool, huh? You know what's not cool? When your friend runs around like an idiot, dressed up as a wannabe villain. But that's another story. Anyway, there's some cool stuff around here, I'd take a look around. Just be careful of what lurks in the shadows; it's not always me. Intro Post: ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2725865/threadCan or can't Jess do magic? ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2726684/threadBeatrice Bizelli (Journalist, appeared in Urban Sci-fi stories): Original Reference from Hero City: ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2685004/threadWrighton Drawings: ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2708538/threadntwriters.proboards.com/post/2708728/threadntwriters.proboards.com/post/2709037/threadIntro Post: ntwriters.proboards.com/post/2698264/threadA summary of the character (mandatory!): Ink: A Defender of Neopia, Ronjono is known as Ink, a superhero Gelert who sticks to the shadows, as in, she has shadow powers. Constantly annoyed by Dr. Mathew Cavus, a chemist who desperately wants to be seen as a villain. Jess and Taffy: Jess is never seen without her top hat, and rarely seen without Taffy. This is because when Taffy isn't seen, she's inside the top hat. Jess is a spunky twelve-year-old girl. She actually has a bit of magic, but it's only manifested in being able to pull a Guinea Pig out of a hat so far. Beatrice Bezelli: A Spunky Journalist, Beatrice Bizelli will do anything for the next story. A bit brash, she does get herself into bad situations sometimes. Preferred Genres: No romance, please. Extra notes: I might come back and add a fourth character; if I do so, I'll be sure to post that I did. Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: No.

A little late, but not too late! (The Magical Girl Art Exchange was SO much fun! I'm so into this sequel!) Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written: * Dahlia (D&D) * Alyx (D&D) * Dossier Dame (Hero City) * Corinne Bywater (Medieval) References and summaries: Dahlia: Dahlia is my halfling cleric. She’s very sweet and friendly, but pretty naive. She grew up in a peaceful halfling community where she worked as a librarian, so she is a big bookworm. I thought she’d be really out of her element adventuring, but so far she’s been holding her weight surprisingly well, so she shouldn’t be underestimated! She has a golden retriever riding dog called Marigold, whom she loves very much! Alyx:Alyx is my human rogue/arcane trickster. She grew up in a big family, and became a traveling merchant looking for opportunities, because she didn’t want to be stuck in her hometown all her life. She follows her own rules and can be a little reckless, but she’s also very protective of people she grows attached to. She’s always been fascinated with magic, which is why she became an arcane trickster (which is basically a rogue that can use some wizard spells.) Dossier Dame:DD is an elderly tech superhero! Her power is to be able to connect to databases and search and collect information that might come useful to save people or defeat villains. For that purpose, she wears her special glasses, which are a gadget that she invented. Her suit includes a generator to make sure she never runs out of power while heroing. She is not particularly good at combat (especially not now in her old age), but she's resourceful. Her main weapon really is knowledge. She has a very strong sense of justice and duty, and wouldn’t retire as long as she still felt she could help. C orinne Bywater:Corinne would be your run-of-the-mill Medieval peasant, except that she has a huge affinity for drinking. This habit of hers makes her lose touch with reality, and gives her delusions of grandeur, making her believe she is royalty and should be treated as such. Corinne isn’t a bad person, but she is pretty single-minded in acquiring her next drink. She doesn’t mind sharing as long as there’s plenty to go around for everyone! In-game, she was recruited by house Stallion and ‘helped’ in her own special way distracting and blocking others. Preferred Genres: To be honest, I don’t have a strong preference for genres. I’d love to give you free range and see what you decide to go with! But I know that kind of freedom can be daunting too, so if you’re looking for ideas… I think it’d be fun to see my D&D/Medieval characters in either a contemporary or futuristic setting. Anything from slice-of-life to sci-fi would be fun! As for DD, it’d be fun to turn the tables and either put her in a Medieval setting, or I don’t know, I keep imagining her in a Mystery with a film noir kind of aesthetic. But like I said, feel free to ignore all this and do your own thing! Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: Probably not, I’m kind of struggling with motivation these days

(Yo! coming in with the same old characters, but I'm really hype for genre swapping your characters!)
(My old post from the Magical Girls thread might even have more info)
Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4):
* Tally (she/her or they/them) from D&D (high fantasy)
* Zenith (they/them) from Hero City (NTWF superheroes)
References or descriptions:
* Tally got drawn here, Tally got kinda somewhat written here, Tally wrote a letter to bae here* still this old Zenith ref aaaah A summary of the character (mandatory!):
* Smol, Floof, chaotically genderfluid drow elf, elemental monk a la Avatar, currently level 7, impulsive, capable of flipping their decision like a pancake to stay open minded, converts spite into cheeriness, poly, shameless flirt but considerate, likes to perform martial arts and dance and combinations thereof, out to make friends and Be a Good, dangit! * Big, Tol, Stronk (really ripped), human as far as science can tell, self conscious, powerful, Responsible, popular superhero, anxiety, medicated for it, works out, health and fitness, safety is important, posts PSAs on social media, Justice, Lawful Good, flies, kinetic absorption, fires force energy blasts out of hands pew-pew, reasonably afraid of their powers, likes the ground, surprisingly confident when it comes to dating, very wholesome family and love life, Bunnies, Bunnies and Bunnies.

Extra notes: WOOHOO GENRE SWAP YAAAY!! (might add a third character just in case?) (might add more links to old HC posts when I find them)
Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: No

I have decided I will join in. This may be a mistake but I am doing it anyway. Sacrifices: - Meallan Lynxheart
- Tabitha Kingsley
- Ambrose Stallion
- Fionn Colby
Meallan LynxheartD&D character from a fantasy campaign. Art references here, here, here and here. Probably don't check his journals on the EuroAtlantis thread because they are wildly out of date. Or if you do, only read the latest ones. This story here is a pretty good representation of his character. Meallan is a firbolg warlock of the archfiend, which means he derives magical power from a pact he made with a fiend named Malka (though he did not do it knowing she was a fiend. Their relationship is analogous to an abusive romantic relationship). He has a powerful inferiority complex, which he tries to mask with bluster and pride. Because of this, he has a deep desire for power (which is what attracted the fiend). He also displays sociopathic tendencies, including not really understanding people, angry outbursts and inability to properly empathise. Nevertheless, he can understand right and wrong, he just needs to be pointed in the right direction. His sociopathy also includes a transactional view of relationships. Nevertheless, he does care deeply for people he considers friends and has a strong fear of abandonment by them. He loves animals and nature and treats it all with respect, even the smallest critters. He also likes books, reading and knowledge. Confronted with conflict and given time to prepare, he will be thoughtful and cautious, considering every angle before making a calculated move. He also has a powerful curiosity which can get him into trouble. Can be secretive about things he does not want others finding out about but will always strive to tell as much of the truth as possible, just so he can tell a convincing lie. Is only a fan of authority as much as it can get him something. However, he be easily manipulated (as his patron is doing) by gaining his trust, stroking his ego and playing on his insecurities. You can tell his emotions from his ears, which move to express them. He has a phobia of blood due to childhood trauma. Demi-bisexual, with a sad tendency to be hopelessly romantically attracted to those who treat him badly. If you want to include his sable familiar, Aytal, feel free to. Aytal is a mischeivous, sneaky fey that manifests as a sable. Tabitha KingsleyTech superhero from, well, a superhero RP. Art references here, here and hereTabitha's first post. Tabitha is a tech-based superhero as a side job and an opera singer as her main job. She is not tech-y herself but her mother makes most of her technology for her. Tabitha does have martial arts skills, which are best illustrated by the bar fight in the Kingsman films (cannot link, alas, due to swearing, but if you need to reference it, look it up.) Personality-wise, she is distinct by being a Proper English Lady: polite, educated, elegant and giving off an aura of class. She can be quite flamboyant and show-y in her work too. There is a maternal air to her in many of her interactions, but she is no pushover. Willing to take charge if push comes to shove but it also just as happy to work with others. Extraverted is a good word for her. She can be flirtatious as well if you give her an excuse (see: all her interactions with Espin in Hero City). Adores cats. Always exceptionally dapper whether in or out of costume. Incredible singer (since she works in opera) and is a coloratura soprano in terms of voice. Ambrose StallionInventor from a Medieval fantasy setting (Medieval RP). Is a magitech character due to being an inventor with uncontrollable future visions. Art hereHe has an extensive Wiki entry here which also conveniently lists his fics. Actually, the Wiki entry lists his personality nicely too. Right here if you don't feel like skimming through his entry. Fionn ColbySelkie from a...sci-fi, urban fantasy mystery with slice of life elements? I don't even know what Wrighton is. Art can be found here and hereFionn's intro post. A very sweet but lazy selkie. Loves all the fine things in life and prefers to not pay for any of it. Fionn takes things as they come without much concern for the past, the future or how people see him. He is, however, kind and certainly not so selfish as to put his happiness ahead of others. A flirt: will hit on a pretty girl but knows when to back away. The simplest out of all my characters. Plays the saxophone, turns into a fat grey seal if he puts on his seal skin. Becomes distressed if he is separated from it. GenresI have no preferences for genres: you all do what you want. Have fun, do whatever you think will fit the character. I am happy to answer any random questions you may have. ^^

Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4): Lili Parker -- Mafia III Ilaria Braide -- Medieval Scaletta (Felicita Martin)- Hero City Ashina Yuki- LARP References or descriptions: Links are to introductory posts. Of the pics below, half are fully mine. Ilaria's pic was drawn by someone on Goatlings, and Scaletta's is edited from an avatar maker.
Scaletta: Physical Description: She's 5' 3", with a somewhat broad, sturdy frame. She has a complexion of a moderate tone, and near-black hair, worn in a bob. She has green eyes with an intense gaze. She sometimes pins back her bangs with hair clips. As of the events of her story, she has several notable scars: the one she cannot cover is a slash across her cheek. As a hero, she wears burgundy, knee-length shorts over navy blue tights, and an electric blue muscle shirt. She has dark grey combat boots, and a long coat with many pockets and matching half-mask that appears to be dark grey, but contains luminescent scales which flash in arrays of bright and distracting colors. As a civilian, she prefers to wear loose-fitting, casual clothing. She prefers pants instead of skirts.
A summary of the character (mandatory!):Lili: Hailing from the tourist town of Aifam Cove, she is a people-pleasing accountant and lifestyle Lolita. She is actually 26, despite being small and doll-like. She pretends to be a fortune teller in the tourist season. Loves pastel blue, tea, and teddy bears. Prone to spouting random probabilities, and finds comfort in climbing to high places. She works with her friend Alma. Home genre: Murder Mystery Ilaria: A teenage tailor who wants to be a hero and save innocents in distress. Has eccentric tastes in fashion, a cheerful temperament and a heirloom sword. She likes LARP, and really, really likes her best friend Kaldora. Due to her albinism, she always wears a hood, and has bad vision. She tends to stand too close to people and misread situations. She is eager to spring into action, and gets science and magic mixed up. Home genre: Medieval Fantasy Scaletta: A band kid from Heraclia who turned to superheroics instead of a drum corp after high school. Her “superpower” is a costume with flashing scales and an array of instruments: saxophone, tuba, and electic keyboard. Part of the Serpentine Sisters with her rival-turned-partner Salamandy, she provides distraction and disorientation, and some maneuvers with her grappling hook. Her civilian identity as a DJ is an open secret. She’s on the asexuality spectrum. Home genre: Modern superhero Ashina: Snow Goblin runt, spooky medium, and accidental anime catgirl. She is mild-mannered, and has issues with stuttering and limbs not working properly because of the dark magic in her blood. Refugee from the militaristic country of Gersh where her existence was a capital crime. She is drawn between two worlds and has a major sweet tooth. When not inspired by passion, shy. Sapphic and reserved. She is reluctant to violence, and her tail wags when she gets excited. Home genre: High Medieval Fantasy / Wuxia Preferred Genres: Basically anything that’s genre works, EG: Sci fi, noir, magical girl, horror, steampunk, or more fantasy. Just have fun with it! Extra notes: If you want to draw Ashina, I have a lot of photos of this character. I will avoid spamming this thread with pics of me in transformative makeup. Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: Sorry, not at this time.

Possible sacrifices characters you would like drawn/written (up to 4): Khamet, my dumb paladin; Raia, a "sensible" paladin; Christian Vu, accountant extraordinaire; Edgyboi... the Worst Khamet Summary: Khamet is a DnD (yep, that's his genre: high fantasy!) paladin who serves to God of War: Anhur. Now, Anhur is... a pretty intense god, but Khamet is all about trying to resolve things diplomatically and nonviolently? Why would Khamet serve the god of war, then??? Demons! He hates demons of all stripes; they are the only ones who are Not People and won't be given a chance at redemption. Khamet is a bit eccentric and will often go on completely useless tangents in a conversation; likewise, he will also frequently get lots of smart-dumb ideas that go nowhere and will initiate well-intentioned projects of dubious quality. He has a journal he takes with him everywhere and categorizes minutiae about his travels. This journal also contains a totally-not-self-insert-fanfiction about a very good-looking paladin named Mankarah. In the looks department, Khamet himself is no slouch... though... he does have a habit of dating people who are complete and utter disasters, including a succubus, a wererat, a fallen aasimar (edgy angels, basically), and a yuan-ti (snake person.) Pretty much Chaotic Bi (TM). Also, he has a pet horse. The pet horse is black with red eyes and kind of scary-looking, but Khamet insists that he's a good horse who will not cause trouble! Image references: The main reference image; I've never drawn anything like how he's supposed to be since qqWriting samples:On the Euroatlantis thread, I've posted lots of Khamet's journal entries and his fanfiction. It is not advised that you read these. No, seriously, they are written to be terrible. Short sample of Khamet's journalingKhamet as a child, standing up for what he believes is right Khamet building a home for a mouse... for some reasonKhamet's horse Raia Summary: Raia is another DnD paladin. Yeah, I know. Anyways, she is something called an "aasimar," which are basically humans with some celestial (read: "angelic") blood in them. So she's like... basically part-angel. She's a big sister figure to the above character and usually helps him get out of trouble. She's like 40-ish years old, but because of her angelicness, she looks like she's in her 20s and has an ethereal feeling about her. Raia does have a lot of 40-year-old woman habits, including but not limited to drinking margaritas (or the in-universe equivalent of them) and ranting at her cat, Nee (but cats speak in this world. Yeah, I know.) She is very career-oriented and has little time outside of her job, which involves the regulation of magic and apprehending rogue/"evil" magic-users of all different sorts--usually warlocks! She's very serious and carries herself with dignity. Image references: Refs. I always draw her with a golden outline, distinctly from the other characters. Writing samples:The first one is her in her ~20s, helping Khamet deal with a situation at schoolThis other sample is her with her cat Edgyboi Summary: Edgyboi (actual name: Cepith) is a DnD paladin of Anhur (the war god) who is friends with Khamet (the first character) and is absolutely The Worst. Lawful-Evil levels of Worst. He enjoys killing demons, torturing demons, and long walks on the beach. He dresses in a very... polygonal... angular... way because he used to be this bigshot mathematics prodigy that was cursed to just... basically forget how math worked... by a demon. He was thus driven off the edge, get it? His edgy aesthetic comes from that. Yes, he was indeed conceived of first as a giant pun so I can He's still extremely smart, though! Unfortunately, he is also kind of ugly, and his fashion sense really doesn't help him there. People generally keep a safe distance from him because he's kind of ruthless. Cepith is also a big fan of birds! Really into birding and stuff. Yeah. Image references: One, Two. The second drawing is newer and a redesign of sorts--though his hair is not *quite* meant to be that high lmao. Facial features are as they should be in the second one--hair is more like the first one. Writing samples:This comic showing him being The WorstHim and His Bird Christian Vu Summary: Christian Vu appeared in the Forum RP, Wrighton, a sort of urban fantasy/sci-fi setting. Wrighton is a town where nobody ever really leaves, and one day, they find the remains of what seems to be an ancient spaceship crash... Christian Vu himself is a financial advisor who is very good at his job and has lots of money. Unfortunately, he can never quite find anything that is interesting to him--he evaluates the "interestingness" of various things in a very... strange... way, which makes it hard for him to relate to people per say. He's also a Werewolf of Wall Street though he himself is unaware of this fact: he just feels like he falls asleep and wakes up in weird places with weird clothes), and his alien great-ancestor looked like a pomeranian. So that's a thing. Image references: Christian; werewolf formWriting samples:A few posts from the RP: 1, 2. Preferred Genres: Any genre is fine, I would, however, like to exclude romance specifically for written things. Thank you! Are you willing to be a backup artist/writer?: lmao it's my event ofc i'm gonna say yes

Thanks for the reminder, Moni! Have been working on mine and am happy with the concept but not the current version of the Actual Writing, so definitely need to dedicate some time to an extra rewrite.
Hope everyone's Creative Process is going well!!
