I think I'll just leave Jess where she is, I think it's a good enough ending, I can't particularly think of anything else important to add anyway. She could get into a conversation with Evi RielCZ, but I don't really see that going anywhere in the time we have. Plus, training for my new job has started, so I'm pretty busy this weekend. So yeah, unless I do end of thinking of more to add, I'll leave things where they are.

Whoo, what a nice conclusion \ o / I thought about doing another post, but I couldn't think of anything in particular to add, so I guess we can assume Sundrop was a good dog and Norma mingled appropriately. XD Also, Don't think I didn't notice that easter egg in the final post.

Aww, that's such a wholesome ending. Sounds like a good time was had by all. ^^ (Era definitely did, they were right about the pattern!! Oh, and they had good food and good conversation and everything is really shaping up!!) Also, I see (and solved) what you did there. x3 I might still revisit this for fun story things, or to solve that last mystery puzzle! I haven't had any new ideas since last time I brainstormed, but if other people do, I'm open to hearing them. =3 Oh, and for the reserve posts, once the RP thread is locked and you have a reserve post, feel free to poke your friendly neighborhood mod to help you out on that! (Unless you are a mod, then uh, there you go. xD ) Thanks for the fun times! I got a lot out of Era, and the puzzles were fun too. x3

Thank you so much for playing, everyone!! ^^ We hope you all had a fun time with the RP and the puzzles. <3 We’re sorry that the game went on for so crazy long, but we hope that it’s been a pleasant distraction for you to return to. We’ve absolutely loved seeing how you and your characters navigated the various puzzles and obstacles, and you made us both grin and laugh out loud more than we care to count. <3 So...you know, thanks for being so cool and fun and patient (and just plain witty), and thanks for solving Uffnewt’s mystery with us!
...Also, yes, as PFA and GLQ have already noticed, we may have slipped in one last hidden bonus puzzle into our final character post. ;D That and the other bonus puzzle are still around if you feel inspired to tackle them later!

Looks like the posting is done for now,
thanks so much for this, Pixica!
I love the setting you cooked up for us and the atmosphere of this picturesque, pastoral little town, and all the quirky characters and the gardening theme overall. It's a setting that would be lovely to revisit in another chill event like trick-or-treating. It's the kind of town in which it would be lovely to be a horrible goose, y'know?
Thanks also for the sheer variety of puzzles, I sure hope you had as much fun creating them as we did solving them. I really liked the way they were incorporated into the world itself, too, whether as things for the plants to argue over or plants' ways of expressing themselves.
Thank you for your patience, especially when we were busy and silent and vanishing for days at a time, thanks for sticking with us and adjusting your pace to us, it made it easier and more relaxing to keep on posting throughout! This was exactly the sort of event I needed at this time. <3

;w; Thanks for such lovely feedback, you all!! It really makes us feel so good knowing you enjoyed the game and approved of the ending. <3 You all contributed so much good stuff to the world and game, so don't forget to pat yourselves on the back, too!! <3 I was originally going to hold off on posting a bunch of sketchy doodlecomics until I'd finished more of them (I have a List that's been building up xD), but I really wanted to share the third one. I hope you like! Of all the strange weather phenomena that Holiday and the flamingo endured prior to the the story, we mentioned multiple times how the flamingo particularly disliked the sideways waterspouts. And that may sound like a weird and comparatively benign one to single out, especially given all the other weather things that happened, but--there was a specific reason why the flamingo hated them-- (If it's not clear amid the sketchiness, the flamingo's metal legs were inserted in the ground, so when he got smacked by the waterspout, it just kinda knocked him backward like a spring. x'D) The boss fight, from Iris's perspective: Her headphones have A+ noise blocking protection! s(o_o)-b *slides this one over to you without comment* XD Thank you so much for this bit, Liou: It's the kind of town in which it would be lovely to be a horrible goose, y'know? And when I checked Rose's intro post to see if there was a physical description of them, I found another goose reference that I'd totally forgotten about! Superb, thanks, Rose! Hopefully their depiction is okay here, as well as Jess and Taffy's ( June Scarlet )! <3 ...And then I colored that part because NO ONE CAN STOP ME (I know it doesn't quite match the game's style, but I really wanted the flamingo to have an eye and for his mouth to be open. XD I tried to clarify the thought bubble some more, but it was sorta tricky, given the lineless style and just indistinct shape of a single fence picket. If you haven't played Untitled Goose Game, the human characters often have little thought bubbles of the object they're trying to retrieve from the goose as they're chasing them.) ....And then I also made it into a signature size because I could, in case I wanted to make it a signature thing? xD Anyway, thank you, you guyyys. <33

I want Iris' headphones, they would be so useful for so many things. Especially when I am having sensory issues.
That Untitled Goose Game reference also sparks joy like one would not believe. <3 Poor Flamingo. The art style is perfect though. You got the Goose spot on, and the simple, lineless body of Flamingo is also perfect. I...I kind of want it as a signature now.

Those comics are amazing! I love the attention to detail in the boss fight, referencing stuff that actually happened in the roleplay. Giggling at Princess Sunshine's battle cries in the background, haha.

Aah, thanks, Celes, PFA! I'm glad you enjoyed them. x3 Now you make me want to try drawing more characters in the Goose Game style. XD

Ah, forgot to comment! But eee, those comics! =D That poor flamingo puts up with so much. xDD (No wonder they disliked the sideways water spouts so much!)
Also, yesss, I want those headphones too. xD She's got the spirit, at least! And the ability to modify song lyrics to be thematic. =D I love the attention to detail on the battle too! That last panel was a great put-in-perspective punchline. xD
Also, yesss, the Untitled Goose would fit in perfectly in this 'verse. xD Now I'm imagining each character in this 'verse dealing with a horrible goose. Though flamingo is already a great target. xD (Nice touch with the signature size version! =D It's a fun one. ^^ )

Something that came up a while ago and I forgot to ask! (For general chatter.)
Let's say the Untitled Goose came to this 'verse, and proceeded to sow their chaos.
What ultimately harmless havoc would they wreak on your characters?
For Era, I'm thinking mostly the goose would maybe rearrange their weather equipment, or steal their phone at some point. Or... Ooh! Rearrange the weather equipment so that Era accidentally takes readings of something else entirely, which Era will realize as soon as they examine the data on the equipment. (Just having trouble thinking of what. xD ) Oh, and spin the anemometer. Weeeee.

What ultimately harmless havoc would they wreak on your characters? The Goose would have to avoid the familiars. This could be done by tweaking their tails, throwing things to distract them (like a ball of yarn or a toy mouse or any other junk) or pulling down whatever they are perched on. For Aggie, Goose would try to steal her hat, rearrange her tea blends, water her plants with her tea pot (and make them do weird stuff because magic tea), climb into her basket and go on an adventure, eventually coming back with some kind of power up. It could also knock over jars to make new, exciting tea blends with unpredictable results. Could also eat all her cakes and other baked goods, or feed them to various birds/animals, once again with crazy results. There is also mundane things like hiding gardening tools that you can actually do in the game.

Late response but I kinda took inspiration from the Goose Game NPCs while figuring out what character to play, which is why I couldn't resist but sneak in that reference in my intro post, as Lizica noticed. x3 For the above tasks, Rose the NPC would have a variety of activities that could be disrupted by honking and would involve throwing a Frisbee around the garden occasionally, wheeling around a wheelbarrow, picking up some newspapers to take to the neighbouring house if they suddenly notice a container of papers sitting by them for some non-goose-related reasons =o, giving them a bath would simply involve stealing their wellies and causing them to splash in the soapy pond, and if the goose snuck under their very large straw hat they might shove goose and hat together onto their head because cartoon logic.

*resurrects thread* Hellooooo \ o / So, Pixie and I made an April Showers Trick-or-Treat house this year, if you missed it! xP We thought it'd be cool to cross-post the puzzles in this thread, for anyone who might like to do them for fun. ^^ We worked hard on them. xDA puzzle from the not-plant and the toad “Why couldn't the witch say her magic incantation? But you all can imagine it as potentially any one of these, take your pick: A.) Judging for a costume contest where people dressed as pumpkins B.) Judging for a contest where people dressed pumpkins up in costumes C.) Judging for a general costume contest of all the visitors, and the judges are sentient pumpkins.

Thank you for posting all of the puzzles! I've been casually working through them and just got through the last one. They were fun to do! The first snowman sudoku was indeed hard, but I eventually managed to solve it. \ o / Woo! As for the chia pet cryptograms, There's one spot where I think there may be a typo? I'll copy-paste the section and bold where I think it is. (That or it may be a character I can't read on my computer? Because when I copy-pasted it it showed me an error box at the end of the word.) ((Don't mind the breaks; that's how I solve cryptograms. xD )) “@$ %d3 %e2=e2y mdr3 q@m,” one goes on (with surprising seriousness), “As for finding your way,” “@gg mdr x@w# 8d =d e$ 8r32 3eyx8 x#3#, %dggdq 8x# 7@8x, @2= 8x#2 yd “all you have to do is turn right here, follow the path, and then go $83@eyx8 Kazzy#@= qx#2 mdr $## 8x# =3@yd2-vd$8r= %d3r vd2%r$#= dw#3 @ straight ahead when you see the dragon-costumed foru confused over a 7r11g#.” puzzle.” “@gg 8x#$# 3eyx8$ @2= g#%8$-- Qxm, e8 qdrg= h# &rvx &d3# 3eyx8 e% “All these rights and lefts-- Why, it would be much more right if #w#3mhd=m 4r$8 g#%8 8xe$ 8x3#@= @g3#@=m!” everybody just left this thread already!” “=DXDXDXDXDXDXD!” “DOHOHOHOHOHOHO!” Anyway, funtimes. ^^
