Hey there, players and/or lurkers! Are you tired of having to wade through textwalls of prose in order to find and solve the game’s puzzles? Was life being crazy at the time, and you never got the chance to figure out what that moss was saying? Are you just no good at cryptograms? Or maybe you’re just curious about the other teams’ solutions? Well, look no further! We’ve got you covered in-- *booming sound of something heavy and massive hitting the ground*
The Little Giant Monster Masterpost of Puzzles
What’s in a Name?Let’s start here! Pretty early on, people picked up on the fact that the town’s name “Uffnewt” is an anagram. What of, though?
Solution:
It’s our lovely “Netwuff,” of course!
It's Raining Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces!Solution:
The colors on the backs of the pieces are a red herring for this puzzle, but correspond to the teams formed for the middle of the game (and auras a cat sorts the PCs by).

Solution:
Snazzy in-character solution
here! But TL;DR, in order to have the brilliant blue hydrangeas they do, they have to have soil with a high acidity. Ground up limestone increases pH (lowering acidity), which would make the hydrangeas pink. Therefore, the front garden could not have had a limestone dust storm.
Find the Three Plants"There were three things the lady of the house wanted us to bring her from the yard. But with all the weather, it’s slipped our minds a bit.”
The hotlips plant sputtered “Ffffff--,” and looked at the flamingo, her red leaves pressing into a frown. “You of all people would let strangers in?”
The flamingo tilted his neck in a shrug. “I’m only letting them in if they prove themselves to be
actually helpful instead of just
imposing or dangerous. Besides, it’ll be much easier for them to fetch the things for us. Neither of us has hands.”
The plant grinned. “Ah! Yes, get these folks with opposable thumbs to help with the delivery. That would be much quicker. Do you remember any of the things we were supposed to get?”
“There was some kind of magic focus, I think?” the flamingo confirmed.
“Hm, that sounds right. The first thing she wanted was a magic instrument of a sort, yes.” The plant raised a leaf near her lips. “Maybe the one that rambling sprite suggested during the cheese wheel incident?”
“No. Maybe that was the second thing? I zoned out after a while. That fairy talked a whole lot about
nothing. She was pretty stuck up, even by poet standards.”
The plant gasped. “What? You’re calling poets full of themselves? Some of my close friends are poets.”
“Sure, and I’m sure every single one of your friends is a perfectly modest individual, just chock full of words and words and
words.”
“Stop poking fun or I’ll poke
you with a spoon--”
“Oh, would you? How would you hold it up? Or reach my head? Or, third of all, do you even have one?”
“I had one earlier. One of the storm clouds dropped a big wooden one, right into my pot, but we could use another.”
“Preferably not falling from the sky this time.”
Find the three things the Lady of the House wants in order to proceed.
Solution:
Some key words highlighted:
The first plant is Fairy Wand, Chamaelirium luteum.
The second is Poet’s Narcissus, Narcissus poeticus.
And the third is Spoonwood, Kalmia latifolia.
All three are white flowers, very vaguely hinted at in this part: The hotlips plant sputtered “Ffffff--,” and looked at the flamingo, her red leaves pressing into a frown.
(#FFFFFF is the hexcode for white.)

(Yes, Pixie was ecstatic when we had exactly 15 players sign up, so we could make these customized cipher limericks. Most people solved it by simply rotating the cipher, but we based the individual lines on the first letter of each team member's name. (With the exception of Aggie and Anton, for whom we used "T" and "D" respectively instead.))
Charge Up Your Pedometers, It's The MazeThere's not really a simple way to reduce this puzzle to a single spoiler box prompt, because the players were not given a maze visual, and had to take each intersection as it came in-universe from the ground level, with little to no hints as to which way was best. (Each team had one hint they could use to know if they were going the right way.)
Here's the actual blank maze from a bird's eye view for your perusal, at least:
The colored circles are the team entrances, and the stars are the exits into the center. And the numbers? Those are the maze encounters, and those are up next. *prepares wrist exercises*

The answer to this riddle is “lightning.” (This riddle is adapted from riddles-for-kids.org.)
The Shouting Saguaro (Part 2)“Exoe fi dybbgde!” it shouted.
“Uh…. ixxxxxxxxx,” someone attempted, gesturing with their hands to lower their voice. The cactus did not seem to take heed of this suggestion, and shouted back,

"Uh... shhhhhhhhh," [...]
"Clarity lives not in secret, lowered tones,
But shouldst speak loud and shrewd!

(This is sort of a clue regarding the kudzu in the boss fight. The shouting cactus’s biased suggestion to shout more is the opposite of what needs to be done. (The oasis reflections even emphasize later on that this is bad advice.) We actually had quite a lot of comments on shouting and volume over the course of the roleplay, from the yelling at the gate, to the drama alpaca topiary complaining.)

Reflections in the Desert Oasis (Part 1)“So, you’ve made it pretty far in here, past codes and cryptogram.
How on earth did ev’ryone’s day spiral this much out of hand?” Evi’s reflection began.
“Earlier, you’d never think that plant tourism was your jam.
Even now, you can’t believe that you’re wandering the sand,” said Jess’s reflection.
“Right now a puddle in a desert must seem really odd, but nice.
Sure, you’ve seen some wacky weather and a weirdo house or two,” Princess Sunshine’s reflection added.
“Heat and sand and jigsaws and that saguaro’s bad advice--
Enough for any sane man to just bid this trail adieu,” said Anton’s reflection, suddenly appearing.
“And yet, in these strange lines, we’ve gifted something cool.
Raise your spirits, keep your head, step out from our old pool,” Cassidy’s reflection concluded.
“So take what you’ve been given, for you’re no April Fool!” Taffy’s reflection chimed in.
And as a whole, the reflections turned to the team expectantly.

BOSS FIGHT Hmm...another puzzle game thing that would probably be tricky to distill into a single prompt, but we’ll try to at least present its premise.
The characters are faced with several plants that will not allow them to pass until they have defeated and/or pacified each one. The characters are armed (puzzle-wise) with only the three power items that they received during their journey through the maze.
Players do not know what each power item does, only that each item has both a physical and a magical ability. They are only able to reach the plants that are closest to them in the front.
So, your initial setup is against: In the Front: 1 Large Bamboo and 2 Bamboo Shoots; In the Middle: 1 Snake Plant; and in the Back: 1 Kudzu Golem.
You are in possession of: Ethereal Earplugs, Sheer Shears, and Gardening Gauntlets.
This task will be done over multiple turns.
Summarily:
> BATTLE START!
Solution:
TL;DR version:
Sheer Shears: (Physical) used to cut Medium and Large Bamboo, splits Snake Plant; (Magical) defeats Snake Plant
Gardening Gauntlets: (Physical) pulls up Bamboo Shoots; (Magical) prevents a Snake Plant Cutting from taking root
Ethereal Earplugs: (Physical) pacifies the Kudzu Golem; (Magical) prevents Bamboo Shoots and Medium Bamboo from growing
(Our post-fight inspiration and general metagame post can be found
here!)
So, it’s not quite the same as having results given after each turn, but-- If you were strategic and basically psychic with your power item guesses, it’s possible to complete this boss fight in four turns.
...But that’s no fun, is it? So this is how it actually went down in the story!
You all did so great. <3
