Oh, but I thought we could use all three items at once? Just that we have to choose either their magical or physical attack.
In the example, at least, they use all three items in one turn, and all on the same plant, the one in front.

If that's the case... I definitely agree with Gelquie's idea. Just to expand on that, I propose the following moves: Physical attack with the shears on the bamboo.
Magical attack with the earplugs on the snake plant.
Physical attack on the kudzu with the gardening gauntlets.

We're sorry the setup is so confusing!! oTL Hopefully it'll be more fun once we get going. You all have already got some very interesting ideas for defeating them! =o In another effort to try to explain cohesively, we put together something slightly more visual: (And do also note that your targets do not have to be exclusive--that is, multiple items can target the same opponent, if you so wish.)

(Cue a very silly and probably not possible suggestion: Using the gauntlet's physical attack to tie all the bamboo stalks together.) This was actually the first idea I got! Oooh I don't suppose anyone wants to seriously try it, but it does sound friendlier ;u; Definitely up for trying to magically earplugg the snake plant, and for the kudzu I'm worried that it might grab the gauntlets and wear them and use them on us instead xD On the other hand the kudzu seemed to move when the explorers noticed the Lady, and then when Mister Snuggles went towards the Lady and got jostled, so maybe the kudzu is defensive of Lady and cat and needs a more gentle approach like... being patted with big gloves?? Edit- oh that is a very nice layout above =3 I actually have fewer ideas about the bamboo... and don't actually know what the items do come to think of it. Shall we try one move with each item on the first target just in case, to figure out what the effects are?

No worries, thank you for the clarification! I feel like we could spread out the moves to each plant in the front so they're each hit, especially since we have two of the same type, and while using the Shears on the large bamboo. My suggestion for move one is: Large Bamboo -- Shears -- Magical Bamboo Shoot 1 -- Earplugs -- ?? (I honestly have doubts on this one working on the bamboo at all, and feel this is mainly for the snake plant. xD I guess either way?) Bamboo Shoot 2 -- Gauntlets -- Physical

So you all can have adequate time to make an informed plan of attack, we have extended Turn 1 to last until 6PM EST, June 17th. Let the plotting continue!

So, are there any last minute objections or additional ideas for a plan of attack for your Turn 1? We could go with GLQ's most recent suggestion above, but we haven't heard a consensus or if anyone else agrees with that yet. Also, we would still need a decision for magical or physical for the earplugs.

The coordinators have likely gone over this, but for ease of decision's sake, I shall combine the most recent suggestions from each player who provided one! (Not including consensus posts.) I'm tempted to use the Magical attack for all three items the first round, just to see what they do. Easy to keep straight, at least. If that's the case... I definitely agree with Gelquie's idea. Just to expand on that, I propose the following moves: Physical attack with the shears on the bamboo.
Magical attack with the earplugs on the snake plant.
Physical attack on the kudzu with the gardening gauntlets. (Cue a very silly and probably not possible suggestion: Using the gauntlet's physical attack to tie all the bamboo stalks together.) (I honestly have doubts on this one working on the bamboo at all, and feel this is mainly for the snake plant. xD I guess either way?) Bamboo Shoot 2 -- Gauntlets -- Physical I guess to expand on the earplug thing, Liou suggested using the magical earplug attack on one of the snake plant, which we could also do with the bamboo, and I have no preference, so I shall piggyback that and suggest magical attack. It does seem like we don't quite have a consensus on targeting. You have my suggestion, but perhaps others could expand on theirs. ^^

I agree with Gelquie's ideas for the attacks, and add that the Earplugs should be magical.

Thanks for chiming in and confirming your moves! That helped us a lot. ^^ After the first turn, we're aiming to have one update each day until this puzzle is complete, so we're setting a deadline to decide your next turn moves by tomorrow, June 18th, at 8:00 pm EST. You're doing good! =D

Just wanna say right quick, I feel that so much. xD Okay, commentary and strategizing below. Yay, we got one! And at least helped with one of the other ones. We could use the gauntlets on the smaller plant, but I wonder if we should try to use the gauntlets on the large bamboo? Or maybe we could use the gaunlet's physical attack on the smaller bamboo, and then the shears' physical attack on the large bamboo. (As much as I hate to cut down bamboo that are only protecting their Lady. D= ...Eh, plants grow back.)
We could probably still use the earplugs on one of them, because why not. Magical earplug attack on the Large Bamboo? And perhaps before using the shears?
(Summary of my suggestions: -Earplugs - Magical - Large Bamboo -Shears - Physical - Large Bamboo -Gauntlet - Physical - Small Bamboo)

Hey everyone! A few hours have passed since Turn 2 ended, but we still need agreement over the moves before we can proceed. It’s a huge team battle, which calls for teamwork!
Thanks to GLQ for being on the ball! But is having an update every day too fast for people to collaborate on moves as a team? How do you all feel? We can slow down again if everyone needs.

You just happened to catch me on a busy week, personally. I'm working 36 hours this week, and when I'm not working, I'm cleaning up the yard with my family, fittingly enough. One or the other would have been busy but doable, but both together means I have no free time this week.
Next week I'm back down to 12 hours, and maybe we'll have this yard tamed down enough for the city's liking.
In the meanwhile, you want stuff about this battle?
Well, looking at the stuff that happened without looking at anyone else's suggestions, I'd say to use the Gauntlet's physical attack on the other bamboo shoot because that worked for the first one, the shear's physical attack on the large bamboo because the magical attack did nothing, and I don't know if we really care if the bamboo grows more or not, but I guess we can go ahead and use the magical attack of the earplugs on the large bamboo.
Looking back at Gelquie now, I see the same suggestions. I just didn't want to blindly agree again like I did last time to get things moving.
Which circles back to the timeframe question. I don't necessarily want to drag this battle out, but I didn't have time to even look at this properly until just now, past the deadline. Again, this just happens to be a bad week for me, I don't know about anyone else. Maybe allowing at least 24 hours in between turns? Even if that means pushing it to the next morning so you hosts can sleep?
