I also went with the retired MME capsule. There is a handful of NC items that are effectively dead because the people who have them aren't trading them, and many of those are MME items. Re-releasing some of them is a step in the right direction.

Day 15 - Best Mystery Capsule: Was thinking of going with one of the retired ones as there's plenty of retired items I believe should be given out another way, however I decided to go with Baby Bottle Mystery Capsule to support Baby (and Mutant, Maraquan, and the Food Chia) Neopets getting more clothing options (and hopefully in themes outside the stereotypical).
Day 12 - Best Advent Prize Results Discussion: Not surprised at all.

Well, Art Revamp was finally the first day where I didn't pick the winner.
I just couldn't pick Meridell, since they forgot the Symol Hole.

For Best NC Wearable, I chose the Pretty in Pink Wig. It's beautiful in its simplicity, and there are surprisingly too few brown wigs out there so it was a very welcome addition.

I picked Rainy Spring Day. It looked nice. Couldn't justify going with the wig - we have way too many long wigs. Honestly at this point, it's getting kinda silly with all the extremely subtle differences. Back in my day we made do and used our imaginations. Get off my lawn!
I'm not surprised Meridell won, despite the lack of Symol Hole. Most people use JN or their Premium bars for dailies so it wasn't /that/ game-breaking. BV was close, but I imagine Meridell edged it out 1. because people preferred Dragoyle Hunting to Magon, and 2. BV's map didn't work on several browsers for quite while after its release. Meridell's 'only the letters are clickable' shtick is way less annoying than not being able to click anything at all in BV.

Day 16 - Best NC Wearable: Who's going to vote a the arch or wig? It was between the two backgrounds and I was leaning toward the Luxe Bedroom, but then I realized something: wouldn't your Neopet be blocking the bed which is meant to be the centerpiece of the background? And indeed, checking it on JN's Wardrobe showed that most Neopets blocked the bed. Because of that, I went with the Rainy Spring Day Background because it's drawn with your Neopet being in the center of the imagine in mind.
Day 13 - Best Art Revamp Results Discussion: Wow, the results were closer than I thought! Meridell only won by 5%, Brightvale and Haunted Mansion were neck-to-neck, and Stocking Stufftacular was only 4-3% behind them; none falling under 20%. Not quite sure what that says. Sure, both the map revamps were 1st and 2nd making them more wanted my majority, but with the NC Events revamps not being that far behind, just below half, it more feels like its saying any update is welcomed... and with how lengthy map revamps must be & done for free while NC Events probably don't require that much work (wearables aside, but we're talking about the NC Event itself) & done to make money, it does make me worried JS may decide if they all equally make people happy they'll choose to do more NC Event revamps and maps... well maybe if they decide to do an NC Event in that land.

I realize Lyra as we've seen her so far could be regarded as your typical rebellious princess cliche, but honestly I think she's pretty cool and has potential. She reminds me a lot of old plot characters (well, Aurrick does too, but I could only pick one) and that familiarity is why she got my vote.

Yeah, honestly I'm kinda tired of long hair wigs. We need way more short wigs and hairstyles for males. Seriously! The past (irl) decade has been full of guys embracing trendy hairstyles beyond just 'I wear my hair short because man' but you wouldn't know it from looking at Neopets' wig offerings. And that's not even getting into how popular pixie cuts on women have been during that time as well, which are again underrepresented.
Anyway, for today I picked Reizo. I actually hope we get a follow-up event where we help him turn back to normal. At the moment he's kiiinda Bruno 2.0, but there's some potential there to make him different. Also, he was the only option whose plot is actually complete. We didn't really learn enough about Lyra or Aurrick or Aymas in 2018 to accurately judge them imo.

Day 17 - Best New Character: Huh, no Kaia, that's surprising. Anyway I picked Reizo for mainly minor reasons, though I don't feel strongly about any of these characters so minor reasons is all I really have. First the plot he's from is finished (so I have a feel for his character), second I think his design is cool... and I think that's it.
Day 14 - Best Neopet Colour Results Discussion: Not surprised. Maybe how close Marble Chia was to Robot Vandagyre, but they all fall where I thought they would.
