I'm personally worried about the next four days as they're work days. Needed a couple of hours for the last few days, I'm just hoping I don't hit a stone wall challenge that I need extra time I may not have. Yep. Espeically Tuesday and Thursday, for me. Tuesday it's work, straight to church activities. I'll be out of the house from 6:15 am to 9:15 PM, give or take. And then Thursday would normally be the same, but it's my parent's 50th wedding anniversary, so while I'll be home, they take precedence on Thursday.

Based on the boards, I'm gonna say SOM was the worst for Knights, and Darigan Dodgeball was the worst for Raiders (because of the accidental score send issue). :/
Thus far. 😩
This has honestly been the most terrifying GMC to date, lol. I'm always filled with apprehension when checking each day's score requirements. 😰

So I was having trouble with Darigan Dodgeball (this game is the bane of my existence). I took a break and I had my drawing tablet out since I wanted to draw and I thought, "Huh, would this help?" I will say, I think I find it easier with my drawing tablet. I'm not at 1500 yet, but I'm getting much better and much more consistent results.
Too bad I can't send my scores due to said score sending glitch. Oh well.

...Okay, whoever called it on Zurroball (I think it was a reddit or neoboards person), I was really hoping you were wrong. But apparently both old and new TNT really like that game. -__- Time to try it with my touchscreen! Edit: Nope, just as bad. :/ Edit x2: I actually tried it on Firefox (as opposed to Chrome) because I remember someone saying that Chrome doesn't register some clicks, and it works better on Firefox (i.e. I can actually keep the ball going for more than 3 clicks). So yeah, don't play Zurroball on Chrome. Edit x3: Yeah! Got it in one round! And then I just dropped the last two, lol. I recommend the Energy Ball (as it's easier to send above the line to register clicks) and clicking in the center to try to get it to go straight up. But on a happier note - yes! Raiders got puzzle games! ^^ (Can't tell yet if it's the same with Knights.)

But on a happier note - yes! Raiders got puzzle games! ^^ (Can't tell yet if it's the same with Knights.) Honestly the action/puzzle split has been flip-flopping imo. Pterattack and Zurroball are way more action-y than Top Chop and Attack of the Gummy Dice. Yet we got Skies Over Meridell which is more action-y than Snot Splatter. But Biscuit Brigade is more puzzle-y than Darigan Dodgeball. There doesn't seem to be a consistent split like there has been in previous years.

So glad Zurroball is not a Knight game, I absolutely despise that game.

I have to admit, this year's GMC seems a little more daunting, and this thread seems to indicate that I'm not the only one.
Extreme Herder was at least a refreshingly easy choice, as was Top Chop. On the other hand, Attack of the Gummy Dice makes me impatient. And I haven't even tried any of the other games recently.
Regardless of my level of motivation to complete this GMC's challenges early (though I still plan to do so by the end), the fact that Neopets is still doing these events is still reassuring.

Oh hey. Gummy dice is higher than my high score. This is going to be fun, hurray!
This year has most certainly been more difficult across the board. It motivates me all the more to get gold, especially if there's a stamp at the end, but still. Geez, TNT. This year is a completely different level of difficulty.

la la la got distracted by the weekend and haven't done any of the challenges, but now I feel all Refreshed and Powered Up and Eager to hammer away at some games-
"Send a minimum score of 90 or higher playing Zurroball."
*spins around, walks right back out*
Right, well, I still can't keep all of these AAA-related events straight, but I do recall hearing somewhere that Daily Dare is the more accessible one and GMC is supposed to be the actual challenge for hardcore gamers. Although much like during DD, I still wonder what logic they're using to pull games out of a hat. Pterattack is thankfully one of my favorites (BURN YOUR WAY THROUGH UNTIL YOU GO DOWN IN A BLAZE OF GLORY) but it's got a pretty big element of luck involved (why hello tiny level-1 green shooter that spawned right under my nose when I was thankfully just barely over the requisite score) and you'd think that an event like this would get a pick of skill-heavy games or ones that take patience.

Thank goodness for the Electric Ball.
And if you think 1000 is bad, there was one Daily Dare where the score was 2000 points for Attack of the Gummy Dice.

Oh, I meant we had to choose 5 additional puzzle games to play, as opposed to the extra 5 action games Knights got. ^^; Speaking of puzzle games, I don't envy Attack of the Gummy Dice - I played it last night too and realized only belatedly that it *subtracts* your score. -___- My final score had been just under 1000, and it had taken a while to do. D: I understand now why people on the boards said they dreaded this one.

Well, not only did I manage to beat the Zurroball score for today, but I also beat my high score in it. Sweet.
EDIT: Same thing also happened to me for Pterattack, but an interesting thing happened. My score was sent in to be reviewed, since I did pretty well. (I forget what score I had exactly, but it was over 2000 points). I went to check the GMC page to see the scores for yesterday's games, since I didn't do them yet, and I'm able to redeem my Pterattack prize, even though my score isn't technically accepted yet.
Not sure if that's intentional, but I found it interesting. (I didn't redeem the prize yet just in case it was indeed a glitch. That and I like redeeming my prizes all at once.)

charming thievery your post gave me such a fright this morning! I was quickly checking recent posts, saw you mention Zurroball and stared into the distance, hearing echoes of my weeping from last time. I couldn't check Neo itself from where I was, and it was so early that the guides hadn't updated yet, so I didn't even know who'd got the challenge! Such a relief. Gummy Dice is long and boring and annoying to my third-dimension-impaired mind, but it's not Zurroball. Phew!!

As soon as Gummy Dice got above 1000, I quit the game and submitted (1001) so I wouldn't go below if the level finished.
