It's live!! *screams* WAIT WAIT WAIT WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME CHOOSE BETWEEN HANSO AND BRYNN??? DX I mean, yeah, this is a dream come true and what I'd hoped would happen for a future GMC, but I always envisioned Hanso and Brynn on a team together, 'cause y'know, they're joined at the hip. D: ...I wanted to start immediately, and I know who I'm probably going to choose, but hnnnnrgghhh...it makes me feel bad, lol. I don't want to make that choice yet. But that aside, YAY, NEW GALLERY ITEMS!! XD...Or so I thought until I actually checked them out? Aw, what, when it was MAGAX and Nox, they had items of their characters! I feel cheated.  (Edit: Specifically meant the joining prizes.  ) Edit: Actually, those Raider Gloves look very much like Hanso's now that I look at the preview of them, so yay, I'm appeased.  Also, thank you, mac, for the specific confirmation of a new Hanso and Brynn item. :3 |

You all know what team I'm picking... And don't worry charming thievery , usually it's the end prizes which references the team hosts (and maybe some of the NC items). |

But - but I'm greedy and want *all* the non-game prizes to reflect the team hosts, lol. Especially since last year gave me reason to believe the team joining prize would reference their characters. Anyway, enough of my whining! xP The end prizes will definitely be something to look forward to then, thank you! I need to make sure I complete all the challenges in that case.  I mean, that's always my goal, but the stakes are higher this year.  A favor, please? Edit: I'm all set now! My IRL friend took a few screenies for me.  If it's not too much trouble, could someone take a screenie of the join confirmation - I mean, once you've confirmed your choice - for both Brynn and Hanso for me, please? Assuming it shows their character in the dialog box.
I'm still torn as to whose team I'm joining - leaning slightly towards Hanso even though I prefer Brynn's theme and name more - which is why I'm asking for both at the moment, and I don't want to miss out on any of this. I'm planning on taking screencaps of EVERYTHING about this GMC (as far as it pertains to Brynn and Hanso, of course).
On practicing one game to help me decide which team to join... Oh, Fyora, I'm terrible at Jungle Raider, lol. I may *have* to join Team Brynn if I can't do this before the end of the day. Then again, my high score for Snowmuncher is under 3k...Crap.
I...should probably sleep first and then try again when I wake up.

Aw, what, when it was MAGAX and Nox, they had items of their characters! I feel cheated. Regarding prizes... A prize called "Hanso and Brynn" is already searchable on the SW. (So descriptive!) They might all be added already, I don't know. I didn't see anything else but I didn't look very hard. |

So it's just the item you get for joining the team that's shown? Does it have the character background in it like the first pop-up? If not, then there's no need for me to rush this plea for screenies before everyone's already picked their teams. Edit: My IRL friend helped me out. |

Pretty much the pop-ups is the exact same just the text changes, but the "joined the team" text is, from what I can tell, is the same for both teams just swapping the words "Knights" and "Raiders" and showing the item you get for joining a team.

There's also a workaround mentioned in the Neopian Gloats/Cry As for Firefox, you would have to check your add-ons (more specifically, plugins) and see that it is activated |

ooh, new Neopets event, shiny, been a while *looks at teams* *chooses Raiders, because I still tend to gravitate towards teams that match my pirate heritage* *faceplants at the first hurdle* 450 AT JUNGLE RAIDERS, WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HECK.
My highscore is 102, and I don't like the game or the event nearly enough to be sitting down with game guides or trying to have a proper go at it.
Thankfully, since I'm not too invested in the event, I don't especially care if I don't get a perfect track record xD But man, Hanso, couldn't you have picked a better deal for us? |

"camera" and "automatic downloads" is (which on the screenshots should be located before "flash"). i ended up having to tamper with devtools to get it to work. |

Team Kinghts for me. An easy choice, because my highschool's mascot was the Knights, and I can still see the school from my back yard. Once a Knight, always a Knight. But the score for the first day is already a bight higher than I've scored. This does not bode well for the rest of the competition, unless they just wanted to scare us a bit the first day.
