@guardianeris I don't know if it's just me, but for some reason I can't see any images under the spoiler box =o Hang on, I think know what happened, I linked it to the one image created under the old title on dA, and then changed the title of the entry on dA, and I think dA isn't addressing it anymore.

Perhaps =o It's been so long since I've used dA to link stuff, I alas couldn't confirm or deny it myself x3 But hopefully that works, I'd be curious to see your finished collage! =D

Ah, yup I can see it now! =D Looking good, I love the variety in styles and coloring that you went with for each day! I'm especially drawn to the full color pieces, you've got a way with shading with marker/ink mediums.

Thanks, I had a lot of fun with the full color drawings, but man, would you believe me if I said they were pretty draining? Like, not only of ink (the paper sunk in from how much ink there was on it, and sometimes I had to keep it from ripping), but also, for example, Day 6 took me 2 hours to complete, despite being a drawing on a journal that the largest side is under a foot, so that's why I didn't do more often, but yeah, they're the ones I'm most proud of.
Although the one that was the worstttt to do, and I decided I would never ever do it as a daily thing after trying, has go to be Day 2, with the punctilism. It looks great, but I think I can definitely say that this took about 4 hours, and my wrist was killing me.

I agree, the first time I did Inktober two years ago, it felt soooo repetitive, and I actually felt more boxed in than anything else. Some days an artist just wants to draw in a different medium, y'know? XD But I guess it's a challenge of discipline more than anything else, but it did make me much more appreciative of ink (although I don't see myself using it as regularly as other illustrators tend to do... apparently the trend is to sketch entirely in ink ALL THE TIME because you CAN'T ERASE, MISTAKES ARE FOREVERRRRR, which I sort of disagree with, because a) crosshatching with ink takes forever, and b) it's so hard to achieve a full range of values when you only have one shade of black). I totally feel you on the spending-more-time-than-necessary thing. XD I sketch on little tiny 3.5x5.5" sized mini-notepads when I'm not at home, and even then I'll spend over an hour on one sketch if I had the time and motivation to do so, LOL! Never feel guilty about spending more time than you'd like on art!

Never feel guilty about spending more time than you'd like on art! I mean, I am actually more of a pen and pencil artist, on traditional media at least, ink only is not my natural tool, but I guess that's why it was good that I did Inktober for once in my life, to learn how do I deal with it, since also my sister gave me a whole pencil case full of gel pens an year or so.
But yeah, it is an exercise on discipline, something I have little in literally any aspect of my life, so it's good that I stuck to it, mostly, since discipline is a learned skill. And also, Inktober is an exercise in drawing too. Although I would never do it like those artists that never sketch. Literally every single one of my drawings are at least sketched so I can have a general notion of what I'm doing. I just don't have the mental nor the physical ability to draw without sketching without causing a distorted mess, and I am not good enough that the mess can get a pass, it just looks bad and sloppy.
And lol I don't feel guilty, I just get easily bored/annoyed with what I'm doing if I do it for too long, regardless of what I'm doing.
