Day 10. FlowingI've been feeling a little unmotivated to keep up Inktober, especially cause right now I have other pending art that I'm more excited to work on, so today I just drew an extremely self-indulgent little doodle.

Not too happy with the facial expression on this one, but I guess I am satisfied that I managed to do another day of Inktober. XD Day 10 - Flowing (Dresses)

Day 11: Cruel Okay, so I couldn't get my original idea to look right and my backup idea wasn't working out, so I went with a sort of simple, abstract route, of someone's heart breaking. (I thought it'd fit into the theme.)

Today's prompt was Cruel, but I didn't want to draw that, so instead I took the prompt for day 9, which I had skipped ^^; Day 11. PreciousMore Animal Crossing, because it makes me happy <3

Baron Von Evil, the villain of Ink: Dark Contrast, is pretty cruel, I think, so I drew him for today's prompt.

Day 11 - Cruel There was an article on BBC about fashion and the fur industry, but rather noting that major fashion brands are now embracing the use of faux furs rather than natural fur in the hopes that the fashion industry will unravel its own problems. (In all honesty drawing all this fake fur with a fountain pen is kind of really tedious XD)

I had to keep up with my "vaguely angsty" theme but I wasn't sure what to draw! So I just drew a decidedly cruel character of mine. And kind of goofed it up. Oh welllll Day 11: Cruel

XD (In reality I basically pick any random topic that catches my eye, because lazy. XD) Thanks! I'm glad you found some appreciation in it. XD I think in terms of doing life studies, the most time-consuming tools I use are (in order from most to least time consuming) ink --> mechanical pencil --> regular pencil. I keep hearing "pen and ink is so fast to sketch with!" and I'm like "hahaha, yeah, extremely fast for making mistakes and ruining the entire sketch very quickly..."

Day #12: Whale Not the biggest fan of today's prompt since there's not much you can do with a whale. That being said, this little guy is very cute.

*tripped up over Life again* *as usual* Four days without finding a moment to draw anything, and today we came to my parents' place with convenient babysitter capacity so I curled up on their sofa and knocked out the past four days' prompts on the side of two rum-and-cokes. Because that is clearly an excellent idea when drawing with ink. Day 9: Precious - actually an image I'd meant to draw for ages and it fit the prompt. I think it still works pretty well if you weren't in the Town roleplay, although it probably takes on a few more layers of meaning if you were. I never actually got around to drawing Ene the way she really looked at 19, which was different from her reverted-to-19 after her death; she was cheerful in a much less tinged-with-weariness sort of way, and also much less of a saucy minx. And the fabulous red dress was a lot more drab (and brown), she just conveniently misremembered it. and why yes that is the giant ball of yarn. Day 10: Flowing - pretty basic stuff, but I commend them for adding this prompt to an ink drawing challenge. Day 11: Cruel look, I resolved at the start of this undertaking that any prompts that might get too dreary otherwise will get a Shad and Saura spin. This will not be the last one. Day 12: Whale Well, I'd already done three by then and they don't all have to be intricate xD

Day 12 - THIS LIGHTHOUSE GARRRRRGH So this is my second attempt to get the perspective right and not wonky as all get-out. It worked better than the first, possibly. Now excuse me while I go scream into my Frustration Bag now.

Day 13: Guarded I originally had an idea involving a guard, but I totally forgot the composition I wanted for that. My backup plan was to do something with a heart, but I did an Inktober drawing with a heart not too long ago and I didn't want to repeat that so soon. Then I came up with something involving guarding a secret, but I had no idea how to pose it. Then I went with this girl guarding a lock with her key. I think it turned out pretty cute.
