I have been doing Inktober and posting on my IG because I don't have a scanner with me anymore, I rely on pictures I take with my phone (and they are quite terrible tbh, low quality, tilted and blurry, it's real clear I'm no photographer), so I haven't had the courage of posting here or my dA.. I decided I'd post one big digitally enhanced collage at the end of the month, but this is the WIP so far (I'll have to retake some of the pics bc the drawing came off specially awful) |

Day 20: Breakable  I'm glad I got it done and I like the concept, but I'm not glad about how I executed it. I realized I made some errors after I started lining in pen and it all went down from there. That being said, I think it looks nice. I just think I could have done better. |

Day 21: Drain  I couldn't think of an idea for today, so I went down that abstract route again. Abstract takes on prompts are fun. Basically, I just thought about how Inktober can be pretty draining and went from there. So here is my little character persona thing with lots of ink, showing how it's draining on a person. I dunno, I needed something. The hatching was tedious, but I do like the smudges. |

*reappears like Halley's comet* It's not even that it takes long to draw, s'just that I'm in the middle of a massive deadline crunch and aren't always in the mood to draw. But when I do find the time (and mood), it's easy enough to knock out several in one go, so let's see how many I can get to before the month is up. Day 14: Clock (catching up, woo)  because hourglasses count as clocks and I found it more interesting to draw Day 15: Weak - and this is where I cheated a bit and just cropped a panel from a Shad and Saura comic I'm working on, so this is an actual spoiler for those who care about such things.  I mean, there's a bit more context to be had, but still. And to tick off today - Day 22: Expensive, I branched out my subject matter a bit more and drew a suit from Love Nikki, a dressup game I've been steadily getting addicted to into (if you happen to be playing it, hit me up, I'm always down for more friendos)  Grice, one of the harder and higher-end suits you can get in the game. She's a living puppet with a soul who resents being tied to a yoke and yearns to take over the world by way of enchanting people to accept her as queen. As dressup games go, this one's pretty hardcore wouldyabelieve. |

Day 22: Expensive  Me: The drawing looks pretty plain. What should I do to add to this? Brain: Hatching. Me: But that takes some time. Brain: Hatching. Me: I got things I need to do. Brain: H A T C H I N G. So yeah, this happened. I like the hatching, but it did take longer than I wanted to spend on this drawing. And I couldn't keep my hand still so the picture's blurry. It looks better in person, trust me. |

I wasn't gonna do another Inktober post until the end of the month, but yet, here I am, to post specifically today's drawing, which is the human versions of my Neopets OCs, in what I call the "Breakfast Club AU."
I just got excited to share, that's it. Also, for reference, here's the breakdown, left to right, of my OCs in this AU under the cut (do have to warn, there's some dark content in it): Keemiter
- International student
- Straight As only
- Practices swordfighting, swimming, wrestling, jiu jitsu
- Pressure from parents to be perfect
- Socially anxious wreck
- Tall and imposing but wouldn't hurt a fly
- Physically incapable of wrongdoing
- That is, until he meets Colorful and the crew
Colorful/Roxanna
- Goth to a tee
- Anything bad or harmful she is already signed up for it
- Bad family situation
- Has attempted to run away some times before but is always brought back
- Is very smart but has no motivation to study
- Will use her nails on you
- "School is my personal heck"
- Has hidden tattoos
- Prefers her nickname
Depequi
- Innocence
- Cinnamon roll who is mentally incapable of even imagining evil
- Altar girl and participates of the Knitting Club at church
- Average grades despite looking like the stereotype of a nerd
- Very sweet and mild-mannered
- But super bland before she started hanging out with the crew
- Literally little to no personality
- "Liking weird stuff is a personality trait, right?" *everyone else frowns in disapproval*
- Still finds her newfound friends sort of scary, but getting into trouble is sort of exciting, isn't it?
Villy/Availability
- Will talk fashion to the others for hours
- Sunshine of the group, always has the right thing to say to brighten the day
- Everyone, even Haute, feels protective of them
- Is perfectly capable of self-defense but everyone jumps in front before they can even open their mouth
- Eats sugar all day
- It doesn't phase them
- No, really, they haven't had a cavity in ever, no one knows how they do it
- No one knows if they even have a family, they never mention it
Haute
- Youngest of the crew, a freshman
- Spoiled rotten by her rich single mother
- Brat with a heart of gold
- Immature for her age
- Is always dressed up like a doll
- "Hate is a type of interest, sweetie"
Penguin
- Battle scars
- Will fistfight anyone who even mildly irritates him
- Only exception is his crew
- But he is a real short fuse with anger management issues
- Is incredibly intelligent regardless
- Adoptive son
- 300 lbs but half of it is muscle
- Has repeated school years because of repeated suspensions
- Is on his last allowed year on school
- If you mess with his crew, he'll mess with you
Belletye
- Is involved with the wrong type of people outside school
- Extensive criminal record
- Doesn't look like much, can kill you
- Just wants her way out of this lifestyle
- Hopelessly in love with Colorful
- Also develops feelings for Depequi later on
- Leather jacket is a staple
Nohbdy/Noah
- Just tired of this life
- Depressive mess
- Family is only one sister, but she's bad news
- Hangs out with the crew to take his mind off his mind
- Gives a lot of dumb ideas to the crew to do
- Draws but thinks he's mediocre
- When really he's really good
- Villy spends a lot of time cheering him up
- Knew everyone from the get go
- Maybe has a very well hidden crush on Keemiter
- *The Office camera look whenever some shenanigans goes down* |
