Haha, finally managed to defeat the lockpick challenge as well! And unless I'm missing anything else, this might be where I sit back for now and see what others accomplish and what other tasks might come up. I don't have a battle pet, so any attempts to fight in the Battledome will leave me empty handed at best x3 (trust me, I already tried xD) Will keep an eye out at least on plot and story progression!

Oh my gosh. Between lens flare, the new weapon they gave out, and the Hanso Charisma Charm, I actually defeated the wraith on medium, with 25 hp to spare!

I feel like your pet Deuteros_II should be able to make some headway on the easy setting, at least--what weapons are you currently using?

There's an interesting theory going around on the boards now... It actually has some merit to it. Seems that we might be using the wrong battledome. Someone found links that appear to be plot related in the forgotten graveyard battledome. But I suppose it could also be where we battle the next wraith, and that's not for this one. Hmmm...
Edited to Add: Okay. So maybe it is the same wraith.

Thankfully, I managed to get through the Snapjaw Wraith on easy mode with Zathandria thanks to some great help from Allison =D Weapons I've been using are Hanso Charm and Staff of Devilish Laughter. Also got a Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer on hand.

Hm. I just did a battle, and even though I've reached the neopoint limit I'm still being awarded neopoints. =\ Should I hold off battling for now or?

There are TWO neopoint limits. You can keep going, and eventually you'll hit the second one too. Yeah, weird. I know.

Welp, I say two is better than one ^///^
Plot twist:
They release a full air blocker via plot

I'm actually sipping tea. I'm sick. XD

My biggest disappointment is that JS did not use my Jeran clone idea. D:
What did they mean when it said it would be "too much like a fanfic" and that "you already have the Neopian Times for your spurious ideas"? D= Everybody loves Jeran, and a clone plot where you would go around defeating Jerans in the battledome wouldn't get old at all!
(disclaimer: this is a joke)

So apparently we get this potion: Which looks like that one time when I was five and shoved different colored play-doh into a pepsi bottle. Good job, Taelia, you are irreplaceable. +1 like You can also use it to de-spookify the giant omelette and jelly. The wraith are clearly attracted to these two locations because they provide a constant source of food. Unfortunately this means many wraiths are malnourished because omelettes and jelly do not make for a good staple diet, but c'est la vie I guess.

I didn't find these nor do I know if they're confirmed. (It looks legit to me though.)

Hey, I've got a theory as to who could be behind all this (keep in mind this is very tongue-in-cheek - but who knows?)... the Oracle! She's a being who looks kind of similar to a wraith (but seemingly made of light instead of darkness) with mysterious powers who has been under a lot of suspicion since the opening of the Obelisk released her into Neopia. Maybe the boons she gives out have subtle negative effects on the Neopets who receive them, gradually transforming them into wraiths? If this was actually true we'd finally have a real ending to the Obelisk War (which would be great as the fact that it was essentially left hanging has always irked me).
