Alright, I received word from Scrappy.
Basically, I asked if the glitch was intentional and if users would get in trouble if it was a glitch. Good news, if you did receive more than fifteen items, you're not in trouble. (I would still discard the extra items if you received them last night and you haven't done so.)

In the original Faerie's Ruin, Xandra thought the Faerie's had like unlimited power and were not making enough use of it. One of the clues now is that the faeries are not the Colossi that Xandra thought they were. Colossi could mean statues that are larger than life or a person or being that is larger than life.
Xandra saw some power and even Fyora hinted at soe power, but this must not be the Faerie's own power, perhaps drawing power from Neopia itself, a sort of elemental power.
We have seen elemental type monsters before, too.
This power, whatever it is, can bring down a floating city, so could be magnetic in nature. That would fit with using the own mass of neopia somehow as a giant magnet.
If she can bring down the city, they could bring it back up, but wraiths might be a consequence of this. Maybe some neopets thought to surprise the Faeries with a gift. Like they had good intentions and were going to lift Faerieland for them, but it backfired?
I also would like to see someone move the space station of Dr. Sloth so it interacts with the sun, creating perpetual darkness over some parts of Neopia, sort of an eclipse, that would be interesting.

Okay. I've to another battle related question. Is essence of everlasting apple still one of the best healing potions? I'm at 101 HP right now, so EEA heals me in one go.
I'm at level 49, currently training to 50, and will train lens flare. I'm using my new poison wand and the ridiculously heavy battle ax. Still having to play on easy, though. Anyone want to recommend another weapon or two? Best defense items??

Anyone want to recommend another weapon or two? Best defense items?? If you want something that heals you in one go and is cheap, then yeah, that's decent. Otherwise, the next upgrade option is to get a once-per-battle healer like cursed elixir or something (which also steals 20 hp from your opponent, huehuehue!). After that, when your pet literally has more HP than any "heals XX HP" item out there, then it might be time to invest in a % healer, ie. heals 20% HP, heals 50% HP, etc., but those may go into the millions in terms of cost. Yooyu Knuckle Duster, Turned Tooth, and water powered pistol were all items that were released recently that are pretty overpowered for what they're worth. However, it might be worth waiting a few days or a week to see if the new poison wand will drop in price after more ppl complete the challenge and get a second poison wand to use. I can't recall any powerful buyable weapons off the top of my head atm. Can't speak a lot for defense weapons since I mostly rely on one- or two-shotting the opponent (and if the enemy -still- isn't dead then I flail around because I have no idea what to do XD), but the Parasol of Ultimate Demise is a super cheap weapon that blocks 100% light and some other icons and is probably the best bargain defense weapon out there. Sophie's magic hat is half-decent, and should be buyable. Otherwise, you're looking at HT items like the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield, Faerie Tabard, etc. In general plot discussion, despite all the glitches, I am generally pleased with how it's going! There's plot, there's puzzles, battling, prizes, and generally all the plot-related things I can think of. For Mystic Murmurs, I actually got anchor management as my location, and when I had entered "ANCHORMAN" I honestly thought they were making a real-world reference, until I realized there was a location with that name. XD Lock-picking was a bit annoying with how fast the locks were moving, but fortunately, it seems like the margin of error for clicking is enough that even a Zoez without coffee after just waking up on a Sat morning can still complete it (after reading the instructions like five times). As far as the ectoplasm go, there is a user who got it, which makes me wonder if it's just a really rare drop after all, in which case, how the heck are you supposed to get it within the first 15 items??? And it's no-trade, too, which makes sense, but if it's like a 1% drop rate or less, there may be some users who never get the 3 ectoplasms within the entire duration of the plot.

Thank you for the advice! Some people are thinking that screen shot is faked, because it says "no trade" but it's searchable. That's also the only evidence we have that it's given out in the BD. I would think that even if the drop rate was under 1 %, at least a few other users would have it. So some think it's still glitched. Who knows?

Jae Thank you, I was able to get everything working! If anyone is still having trouble with the box game, what worked for me was to try it in the newest firefox, and like Jae mentioned, use a direct link to access it again rather than going through Kaia. I was able to get the achievement this way as of today, even though I'd already completed the puzzle once. I'm also a little concerned about the weapons choices tbh. That spear was really easy to get, which means most active players just got a HT-grade weapon almost for free. I guess every game has to nerf something eventually lol.

I tried looking up some other no trade items via Shop Wizard (Frogler, Weeble, Ditsy, and Staff of Devilish Laughter) and they are searchable. So you can still look up no trade items on the Shop Wizard. You just won't be able to get other users selling them since you can't sell them.
This is just something I thought of just now, but what if the Wraith Ectoplasm doesn't count towards the 15 prizes you win from the Battledome? That way, even if you reach the 15 item prize limit, you still have a chance (however small it may be) to win it? If that screenshot is indeed true and the Wraith Ectoplasm is no trade, I think it'd make sense.
If my theory is correct, that might be why the Battledome was glitched and gave out more than fifteen items as prizes, because something like that to happen would need some sort of special code.
Of course, all of that could be entirely wrong. I'm not part of TNT, so I don't know for sure (and I'm pretty sure Scrappy's not going to tell us). I just figured I should share what I thought.
I'll be sure to let everyone know if I do get Wraith Ectoplasm and how I got it. ^^

Yeah, the signs do point to fake. XD OP poofed and it does seem weird that only one person found this so far. I'm sure JS would not intentionally make it this hard to get ectoplasms this early on, LOL!
I'll probably max out my battles for the day later on; too lazy to do it now. x.X

So this is interesting too... When you look at the one user who claims to have gotten the item, (and he said "some" which would indicate more than one) he's only battled the wraith 68 times. That... does not seem to be enough to be the only one to get it. I'm smelling a rat on that person's claim.

Count me in the camp that thinks the screenshot was a big fat fake. Sorry, but one guy gets one and only provides screenshot proof instead of putting it in his gallery, whereas other people have done thousands of battles between them and have never seen it?

Regarding plot step- Is this chest lockpicking game turning out to be frustratingly hard for anyone else, or am I just missing something? Because after about ten minutes of playing this and 50+ misses/a handful of refreshes, I'm ready to die.
The "touch" point of the locks feels so arbitrary; the boxes pass each other in less than a second, and when I either click the second before they touch or right when they pass, it's only after the third or fourth click that it actually works. I'm not doing anything differently, just sometimes it works, and then a moment later the exact same thing will undo everything I achieved. (I managed to get all but one connected one or two times, but that left as quickly as it came.)
This must be why I usually don't end up participating in events, I have no patience for them xD So yeah, is it just me and everyone else is sailing through this part, or is it indeed an uphill battle I need to fight?

Nah, you ain't the only one. I can't do it on laptop nor mobile (although the reason for the laptop is because of a mere touchpad and no mouse). I have long since given up ...

Twillie and Azusa: Try loading 3 HD vids on Youtube in separate tabs while running the chest lock game and seeing if that slows it down a bit for ya.

Edit: I finally completed that lockpicking challenge after another 45 minutes (what a noob hahaha). I decided that mobile seemed easier to me although the final link was pretty hard to connect using my fat fingers Re. Wraith Ectoplasm Maybe the item will only be handed out AFTER the defeat of the first Wraith or possible subsequent Wraiths ...? It's only a wild guess but what made me think of this idea was:
- The meaning of ECTOPLASM. Google it; I'm not good at definitions xD - Taelia noted that something would take over something else's place before mentioning "3x ectoplasm". Furthermore, the dialogue hints that the cursed pet will weaken considerably when it's defeated in battle. Maybe this Wraith 'exterior' will separate from the pet and that's when the Wraith Ectoplasm can be collected.

Taelia's hint about things replacing another is meant to point us towards the Omelette and Jelly. Thinking is that (because the hub page is still pointing us to battle) something broke in the Battledome. Wraith was meant to drop Ectoplasm. We take that to Taelia to make a potion. We take the potion to her riddle location (the omelette/jelly) and use it to de-wraith it.
