Candy corn shows up on chocolate too, brah. XD Behold my pride and joy (who got zapped chocolate just like I wanted within like... two weeks of trying, without changing species.)  I should feed my side account pets, lol. Oh yeah, but the majority of the Neopet is still Chocolate. Like I'm more seeing the Neopet being the Candy Corn striped colors, like a less detailed Eventide. Obviously all your problems stem with making the 'Pet out of a singular candy piece instead of different pieces and textures. Or getting hung up with the idea that GASP Chocolate has sprinkles on it so nothing else could ever have sprinkles. But look, Chocolate is brown and Custard is yellow. If you want ANY other color in the edible rainbow, you've ONLY got Jelly, which is a singular texture through-and-through. ALSO, pretty much every species already HAS a Chocolate color. So saying "But you could do that with Chocolate!" is a moot point when they DIDN'T do it with Chocolate and the opportunity is now missed. Clearly tonight I shall have to draw up my own ideas for all ya'll Veruca Salts! XD It's not us who you need to show the drawings too. I'd love to have a Candy Colour like Petpet Park had which was different kinds of candy making up the Neopet. But that wasn't what we were presented. We were given a Neopet who's entirely made up of one kind of candy. I feel any additional candy bits would at best be from spots, shells, hair, and claws being made from a different candy. But the majority of the Neopet I feel will be made out of one kind of candy. |

Eh, I don't think I'll ever have a candy pet because candy in general isn't really my style, but in other news for those who didn't vote for candy... |

I'm kind of disappointed after seeing this. Even though I voted for candy I don't want peppermint only pets. That's too Christmasy. Unless this is just the design for the brush. |

Also remember to keep discussion of spoilers in spoiler tags please. ^^ If it hasn't been released officially it is a spoiler. On an unrelated note, I should browse the Rainbow Pool more often. That Jetsam looks really cool! I agree, though, that the design of the brush isn't too concerning. They probably based the brush off the Elephante because it's the only pet of that color that exists. I imagine they'll do other stuff with it. The marble brush also looks like the Elephante, and earlier in the board everyone was gushing over how it could be made into a bunch of different colors. |

Yeah, usually with new brushes, the first 5 or so pets are all kinda' samey and uninteresting, and later it gets more and more adventurous. For example, compare the plain-jane solid-brown Chocolate Korbat to some of the other ones that have whip cream and sprinkles and cherries and candy corn accents. Or yeah, the Camo pets that started all as basic color-fills of standard camo pattern, and THEN turned into camouflage-based-on-nature.
What I'm thinking is, better hope you like peppermint, or that your favorite species doesn't get the PB treatment early. Which I imagine, many of the pets with Days in March or April might be pepperminty as all getout. XD
Which, still no regrets that Candy won, because it's got more potential for creative outcomes than Marble, which is more your standard colorfill with the occasional bubble texture. |

Guys, I think Marble is also becoming an official Colour. In addition to the Paint Brushes (which you could argue were pre-made to save time, though the absence of a Floral is questionable) these were also found:    I don't think they would pre-make wearables, and once again Floral is missing. And thinking about it, it does make sense to introduce two new Colours as it'll mean one less new Colour that they would need to introduce later. And though Candy won I wouldn't be surprised if Marble got a lot of votes making it a close second which shows there's a demand for it. Finally, it is rather an easy Colour to do since it's just a color/texture palette swap. |

Perhaps I misinterpreted, but you seemed to be responding to the discussion of the paintbrush design in your comment about what you expect from the first several released candy pets, since you referenced my commentary about the designs of camo pets. |

Well it looks like Candy has been activated!
And Marble!
I have a theory that the poll was so close, TNT decided to make them both official. No matter, I'm very happy. I can't wait to see what the they'll look like on other Neopets. |
