No, some players have been frozen who were not quad maxing, and some quad maxers have survived the cull. There doesn't appear to be a descernable pattern as to who gets frozen and who doesn't.
If you're not on MQ, KD, BV, or TY, I wouldn't worry at all. Whatever JS are doing, it only focuses on teams they have already identified as having suspicious scores.
And if you are on one of those three teams, at this stage in the Cup I still wouldn't worry. JS have been doing whatever freezes people on Fridays, and we don't have another Friday left in play.

Well, got to rank 11. That was my highest rank in the past, and it's impossible to get a higher rank.

So unless they decide to hold a tiebreaker round for 4th (Meridell vs Faerieland grudge match; once bracket buddies, now podium pushing rivals), looks like the AC is over! Though if shows the Practice Team you can't earn any more points as of right now. Mystery Island won (Island PB as a prize?), Tyrannia was second, and Kiko Lake was 3rd. Let's see, well MI will be getting a Jersey this year, and if what we know about the action figure is right then I think Ealyn Hawkshanks is next to get one (one day, Windelle, one day). Hmm, let me check the Shop Wiz... Ooh! Found some new items: Water Yooyu (!? Maybe Water PB instead as well?) That water Yooyu is pretty sweet! I'm guessing it'll be a double all star kind of prize. I barely made it this time, so I'm not expecting much in the prize department, haha. |

Trophies are really nice this year. Almost wish I played more.... almost. *shrug* I may end up buying that dress from someone, though. It's pretty snazzy.

I had 12250 points. Kinda surprised at how cheap most of the prizes are. I bought a few stamps.
Really disappointed the clawed gloves aren't a wearable... I bought them without paying enough attention. D:

AC Points Earned: 30,985 (Alright, lower than last year's but that's to be expected. Let's check out some of the prizes... *GASP* By Fyora's Staff, they're all new items except for the PB!  ) 1. Let's start with the furniture non-furniture. This year we have the Yooyu Clock, Yooyu Salt Lamp, and Yooyu Candles. But wait, your garden also gets the neglected treatment with Decorated Garden Stones, Yooyu Succulents Planter, and Yooyu Cactus! JS, if you don't want to make furniture items, then don't make items which look like it! All these items are "Special", which to me is like saying "one man's treasure is another man's junk".        2. And as I found earlier, the team prizes copies the idea of AC9's shields, wearable weapons. This time its armor and... they're kind of unimpressive. The only one I would say looks decent is Altador's and Meridell's (maybe Brightvale) but that's because it looks like knight armor. They couldn't color the armor's differently. How about modelling after the team uniforms? No, it's just the same armor with the team's logo hanged over it on a ribbon.    3. I originally thought the Orange Yooyuball was a toy and reference to a basketball, but it's actually an orange (as in the food). Lol.  4. Huh, Yooyuball Racket, have we never had a wearable SLING before?  5. You know, after seeing Miniature Altador Cup Story, I kind of understand now why TNT never before showed us what those odd shaped books looked like when opened. How is it even connected?  6. NO! NO JS! BAD JS! YOU REDO THE HOLBIE PINNOCK ACTION FIGURE THIS INSTANT! Of all the LAZY things to do, you couldn't even make a simple action figure looking item? Or if you want to take the lazy route why didn't you just shrink the official Holbie artwork like you did with Loryche?       7. The Stamp is 3k which is an improvement from last year's stamp being 60. But I do notice a certain item missing that CQ said they'd consider putting back in: the Altador Cup X Collectible Gold Coin. Decided not to include it or just forgot, you decid... actually I'll just tell you, they forgot (but you know they're just going to justify it saying they decided not to).  8. So both the PB and Yooyu are the same amount of points, that's kind of neat and I don't think done before. And the PB is a Water PB, I guess they thought Island would be too obvious.  9. The trophies look great this year! I like the lightning bolt design, simple but makes the trophy look unique.  Though I got to take points away for using the same Participation Medal as the last few years. MAKE THE RIBBON A DIFFERENT COLOR!      10. Well at least this time the Staff prizes are things which exist in Neopia. Also why isn't the "TNT Coffee Mug" a Food item and "Vintage Yooyu Mirror" a Grooming Item? Though eitherway a surprising amount of wearables plus a book and BD weapon! 11. Weapon information is still being gathered so I'll talk about weapons at another time.   Overall better than last year's. Nothing I immediately want, probably will do what I usually do: buy the Meridell team item and wait till the last moment for the rest. |
