yes! i am glad edgyfriend is sufficiently edgy... honestly, i don't really think i could even talk about without an edge joke somewhere! x) he's very RARRRGH RARRRGH and ... lawful evil. cepith has the eye of horus, correct, and raia has the tyet around her mouth! it's very close to the ankh. x) and yes... i have been staring at noses for too long. here is a masterpiece comic called... uh... "bad cop, even worse cop. verygood."  (bowl cuts are against the geneva convention; therefore, it's okay to break it.) |

Okay, I know this has nothing to do with the comic or art itself*, but I'm just really distracted by how beautiful your handwriting is, lol. I thought it was a really nice font at first, and honestly, I still have a hard time believing it isn't. ^^;
But lol at the demon/Khamet exchange. xD
Edit: *Then again, comics do include lettering as a specific role in the creation process, so not totally unrelated. x)

Thank you, charmingthievery! x) I basically just tried my best to emulate a font... drawing instead of writing makes things so much easier! As usual, this is just more dnd lol. How do you know if a Khamet you encounter is good or evil??? Easy! Just follow this handy dandy guide!  If you see a shaved Khamet please report him to the authorities! 's NPC, Tenacity! She is a very nervous agent of the extratemporal bureau! The rookie! Did you know??? That I attempted??? to redesign??? edgyboi??? that's right! ... uhhhh I'm happy with his face, but with his hair... not sooo much. Uh. yeah. i don't make mistakes, that hair is totally intentional! There's probably something hiding in there idk. |

more bad dnd art yeah drawing is hard and i hate it first thing. so you know how khamet is bi? me too! but he has one issue... the bi flag colors are TOO GIRLY and he's gonna replace it with this much cooler flag he found. what?? are you saying that's the german flag??? see that only proves his point, an entire country of people thought these were the superior colors. (yeah the coloring's off i didn't have my tablet for that qq) cepith and raia in formal clothing. raia looks great! cepith... is a human being... rip him. Basil will get his spider friend one day! I believe!!!! Still not over the cuteness of this picture...and the chibi pictures...and the other chibi picture which isn't here but is just lovely.
Also this Astrophelle image is so pretty and sparkly! I love how her hair is bouncy and suits her Cheerful Persona, and the way the colour changes from sunset orange to bright sunny yellow. Thanks for drawing my lovely paladin girl so sweetly. <3

bleh, been a while since i've updated this. part of this is that i just don't enjoy drawing as much anymore (general anhedonia things yay!) so i just have been minimally doing it. another part is that i haven't been into neo/ntwf-related things. anyways, i've been trying to improve the ways i do lines. two things i really struggle with in general is a) curvatures. seriously. i hate curvature... i can hardly tell the difference between concave and convex curves while drawing so everything turns out extremely funky and b) line weight. i understand what line weight is supposed to be like but arrrgh, it's so hard to do it. one thing i've been doing for fun and because i hate myself is drawing lines as shapes. it's a bit hard to describe, but instead of drawing lines, i draw... lines around the lines, and then color them in. so there's no line that was initially drawn as a line. instead of drawing a contour, i just draw a shape instead. it's terrible and nobody should ever draw this way... but here's the difference it elicits (two drawings same sketch yadda yadda) and it illustrates better what i mean when i say "drawing lines as shapes" the first one, every single line was drawn by that 1-2 method. yes, even the very thin ones... i just used a .5px brush to draw the line then filled it in. it takes a long time and is very annoying, but it does force me to vary my lines a little more, on the face. the second is just how i line things... and believe it or not, it is indeed *after* i weighed these lines. really. i'm just not good at them. |

Caylista hey look! I Tried (TM). Okay but for real, I worked really hard ... with mixed results! The picture had to be cropped out anyway for the composition to... uh... not look random... and the result is this: Anyways, because of that, here are the isolated characters. Here's Sof: And here's Vox: ... I headcanon that if/when they're together, Sof is SUPER CONFIDENT and Vox gets... kind of... nervous! The former approaches things with 0% caution (at least that's the impression I get!) and I don't think Princess likes this. Of course, all of this is speculation based on like uhhhhh 5 sentences on the petpage, but I think those five sentences had lots of personality to them, so!

Ahhh okay first of all, I LOVE IT. The level of detail is supported really well by how sharp your line art is! And the color choice for the palette is really fitting - sunrises/sunsets are a great backdrop for dramatic scenes, and this one makes me envision some sort of dangerous mission/quest that's about to begin.  And you got their personalities exactly right! Sofiex' pose is so confident, the way she's just waving over her shoulder like it's no big deal (and carrying a bazooka??) Also she looks SUPER BUFF YES. And Voxna, looking desperately to some sort of authority to help her in the situation, haha. It's all fantastic! Thank you so much, Moni!! Edit: By the way, I'm trying to update my art page and have a section for art trades/friend art. Would it be alright if I put your piece on the page?  It's fine if not, but I'd really love to! |

Sof is definitely carrying a bazooka... all the bazooka references I found make it clear that the "mouth" is... a lot larger...than the body if it's a head-on perspective, so that's what I went for. Also happy that I more-or-less got the essence of the characters right. It is totally fine if you put it in that section! :-) |
