Aaand my drawing streak has not stopped. I saw a picture of Nure Onna (a snake yokai and quite a few of the images I've seen of them have long bodies, so yeah - the translation of that is "wet woman", so that's why there's ocean and she's wet), a friend of mine told me to draw Criistan, and I always like working with blues and purples. This was how this was born. Those feathers. XD Those took more work than I thought they were going to take. But eh, I like them. :3

I finished another thing. There are two things I've been really interested in drawing lately. Pokemon and yokai. Luckily for me, they often overlap. I don't know what I wanted to draw first, an Espeon or a Nekomata (which is actually what Espeon appears to be based on). So I gave Espeon a couple more nekomata traits. Obviously enough, the tail is much longer because bakeneko (a nekomata is a type of bakeneko) with long tails are often very powerful. In my research, I've seen a couple pictures where there is fire at the end of the nekomata's tail and I thought, "Huh, that looks fun, let's do that. " Also, nekomata are often a lot more... *cough cough* malevolent, so yeah, this Espeon is causing destruction... (I also needed a cool looking background. Don't worry, everything will be fine. ^^*) Fun fact, the fire on the tail took a lot of trial and error. I tried at least three different ways of doing it before I settled on this. It looked better before I added the dark border around it because it looked too similar to the background fire. I do love the purple colors that led to, though. (I might have gone overboard with the bright purples, but oh well.)

I got bored and I wanted to draw interesting eyes so this was born. As you can see, I'm having fun with highlights.

Yay, I drew a thing. :3 I had no idea how to shade this for a while. I was stuck on where the light source would be. But eh, I think I figured it out. Shading this was fun when I got to it. I played a lot with watercolor and blending brushes. I like how it turned out.

Not really a regular drawing of mine, more of a design, but I think it's worth sharing nonetheless. It's a plushie design for a snowflake. There's a story to this (if you don't mind me rambling XD). Anyway, I'm part of a digital arts club at my school. I think I mentioned it before around here or on the Discord. Earlier this month, I think, wee went over some stuff and in March, we're going to have a guest speaker from the plushie company, Squishable. Squishable has an open design competition where anybody can submit their own designs, people vote on it if it's approved, and if it's voted enough it'll be turned into an actual plush. And the club activity was to design a plush. I was stumped for a good part of the meeting. I just thought about what I like and weather came up. Eventually, snow came to mind and I decided, "SNOWFLAKE, THAT WORKS." So I made this up and send it in. And a few days ago, I went strolling around the site (the plushies look so cute. ;; ) and I saw a snowflake design in progress already. Yeah, I was sad to see that, but oh well. I bet this sort of stuff happens all the time. And today, I got an email from the company. As expected, it was a rejection, but the response was so nice. The bad news is that your design didn't quite make the cut, even though we liked it a lot. But the good news is, we really really loved your drawing style! It's exactly the type of look that we're going for - you really nailed it. I wanted to ask if you would be willing to submit another design of a different animal, one that would have a better chance of being picked. It would really make us happy to be able to show your work in a fan voting round! I can't tell if this is a preset response or if it was written specifically for my design. It might be a mix of both? (There was business-y stuff at the end, but I cut that part out because that's boring.) Preset or not, I thought it was really kind and encouraging. I do plan on submitting more designs. I'm working on one right now, actually. :3 Maybe the next one will actually turn into a plushie. (If it does, expect me to cheer all around the place.)

People were doing character lineups and I wanted to join in the fun. Besides, this gave me practice on drawing different faces. (I am so sorry for the poor quality, my phone's camera is not very good and I couldn't keep my hands still for the life of me while taking the picture.) The only NTWF characters on this is Claire and Ani, but I had these characters I wanted to throw in. (For the next NTWF RP I participate in, there is a really good chance I'll use one of those six.) From left to right -Claire, 22, 5'1" / 155 cm -Ani, 21, 5'5" / 165 cm -Olivia, 33, 5'6" / 168 cm -Marc, 25, 5'8" / 173 cm -Pat and Rick, 24, 5'9" / 175 cm -Yuri, 10, 4'2" / 127 cm -Hasu, 18, 6'3" / 190 cm (I included heights because we all know I can't draw realistically for the life of me. XD)

Claire is so cute and in character! <3 And Ani looks appropriately concerned about her nutty friend, haha. I didn't know Ani was so tall either. =0 Well, tall by my standards (5'3".)
I really like Claire's shirt! Do you think we'll ever see this in colour, or would this be a bit much to colour and shade? I mean there are a lot of characters after all, so I'd defs understand.
I don't know the other characters, of course, but I can already tell I like Olivia. She seems so shy and adorable. ^_^

It was in her first drawing I did of her. It's technically from the shoulders up, though. I really should draw her with that outfit, I think it's cute... And I'm glad you like Olivia. ^^ Yes, she is soft spoken and shy and I love her. X3

Ooh, pink! I pictured it blue- don't know why, pretty sure you said she liked pink in the roleplay itself. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

On this episode of, "Rabbit Likes to Torture Herself" My drawing class just got done with perspective. So I decided it would be fun to draw something using what I learned. Granted, this drawing isn't very perspective-dependent, but I think it worked out. I'm getting the hang of it. Those spotlights, man. XD It took a lot of figuring out to put that together, let alone shade with them. That plus the fire on the ears and tail made shading a real experience. I think I did okay. I didn't go overboard with it since there is a lot of direct light. Looking at it now, I can see some things I would change with the shading, but I think I did a pretty solid job.

Draw a simple image, I said... It doesn't need to be complicated, I said... I wanted to enter Comet into the Pet Spotlight on Neopets (they started featuring them on their Insta and I wanna be featured >.>). It needed to be entered with an image and I really dislike using the same image for more than one thing on Neo, so I made another. I don't know what happened, probably because I was having fun and I wanted to have some sort of scene, I decided to add more detail. The background is rather boring, but I got lazy I didn't want too add too much because of the file limit.

My drawing class had a project where we were to draw and color a still life. This is how mine turned out. This was my first time coloring with pencils. Far from the best, but I think I did a solid job. I need to work on making the edges neater. I think some of the fuzziness is from my camera (a potato can take a better picture), but it isn't perfect in real life. It's just something I need to keep working on. Otherwise, I'm happy with this. Also, the smudging. Oh dear, the smudging was bad. I also need to work on not smudging my work. I fixed it, but still.
