My current theory is that it's random at any point after 7 days of donating. Not sure if it's 7 days in a row or just 7 days where you donated. I'm just not seeing any other pattern from the self-reports people have been giving. My guess for why they made it random is to keep people coming back, but the downside is that there will be people with criminally bad luck who won't get it despite thousands of donations.
Hopefully they award it to all eligible participants at the end, because it's really not fair to have a one-time event avatar be random.

Literally right after I posted that. Still stand by what I said, though. I've donated every day at least once, and I only got into making a ton of donations per day yesterday when people starting reporting getting the avatar. |

D: That's what happens when you've literally been too durned tired to function for the past couple of days. Sigh. Had to take an insane amount of naps this week, but apparently it isn't helping. I apologize, though--I kept reading the same thing from multiple sources (boards, Reddit, NTWF, etc.), and couldn't remember where some stuff had been mentioned. XP I'M GETTIN' OOOOLLLLDDD. HOW AM I GONNA GET THROUGH GRAD SCHOOL. (Fortunately I am in biostats, which doesn't require -too- much memorizing.  ) |

Though I know it sucks when you have to sacrifice your personal time, but if you're not getting enough sleep sometimes you need to sacrifice at least one day's worth of free time to get in some extra sleep to let your body store up energy and the mind to calm down and sort through its data load. And I don't mean naps, I mean sleep sleep, as for at least a few hours. Remember, your health over everything else. |

Yeah, no worries, it's because all my classes are crammed into mon, wed, and thurs so I try to pull myself through, but fri, sat, and sun are my recuperating days/ain't-no-one-gonna-wake-me-up-before-ten. Took a two-hour nap at noon today and felt awesome afterward, so that's good news! Yup yup, I've pulled one too many all-nighters in my undergrad years to skip out on too much sleep anymore. XD |

JUST GOT THE AVATAR! Okay, I think it's just having donated for a certain amount of days (possibly in a row?). Because today and the yesterday I was just donating the Big Blue Blumaroo Book. There maybe a certain amount you need to donate each day, but eitherway I think the requirement is just needing to donate and nothing else. There's nothing specific you need to donate, just donate at least a batch each day. Go to the General Store and donate as many Big Blue Blumaroo Books you want to donate. But just donate. |

I just got the avatar, after donating for the first time today!
I haven't been donating every day (I missed a day).
It wasn't only +r90s, even though I discarded a lot of Kau Sorceress Sandals.
No NC.
Also, I've donated only 104 times.

How many days of this event are left? I've got a busy day today... It ends on the 8th so you have 7 days left. Being I didn't donate anything on the first day and today is the 8th day the event has been going I think it takes 7 days to get the Avatar. Now I don't know whether you need to do 7 days in a row or have just donated on 7 day, however if its in a row and you missed yesterday than TODAY is your LAST chance of getting it. Starting today you'd need to donate everyday. Also I would suggest donating a bunch of times just in case there's a donating limit. Remember, the General Store (link provided in previous posts) and The Big Blue Blumaroo Book are your friend.  |

Didn't get it immediately after donating early this past morning, but only after coming back just before daily reset now. Not sure if a refresh would have done it or if there was some weird time-based thing, but it's good to know that I didn't miss it. xD
