Congrats! The only stamp I've gotten so far is a low rarity one I got from donating junk to pad my count. Ditto. Though I'm having fun seeing all sorts of items TNT have created over the years that I either never knew existed or forgot about.  Actually I just got a "cheapo" item with 150k (it's a goodie bag) so for all I know I do have some expensive stuff. I'm going to have quite a time selling off all the prizes. This event was meant to clear out extra items on the site, right?  |

Yeah but it has the (presumably unintended) side effect of causing players to hoard rather than discard their items for future CCs  Depending on which goodie bag it is, it could have some good stuff in it if you wanted to gamble (you know, if you haven't gotten your fix yet from the event) |

It'll take me years to build up this hoard again. Charity Corner always ruins my SDB.
I wonder if next year will be toys again, or if they'll do something like Food?

Based on what I have in my SDB, I hope they do battledome weapons next, haha.

Battledome items would be awesome, the various Snowballs alone are in the r90 region :'D It's a matter of whether they manage to make it topical; the first drive was for Christmas (so toys) and this one's for school (hence the books, clothes and schoolstuff). Next year: charity drive for battle-equipping all the poor Neopians whose homes have been ravaged by plot-wars so that they can RISE UP AND FIGHT BACK AND THROW OFF THE YOKE OF THEIR BOURGEOIS OPPRESSORS. I'd back that cause. |

I honestly thought it might be Food near Thanksgiving time, but I hope not. I don't have a big hoard of gourmet food.

Yeah, I expect them to do one for food before weapons. And maybe one with petpets too.
...Considering how many petpets get turned into food items, those two could easily be combined.

I don't think we'll get getting a Charity Corner this Christmas, that would be a bit too much. There's plenty of item types they could have the next Charity Corner do: Food, Furniture, BD Weapons, Collectables, etc.. Actually considering they combined books with school supplies they may do combinations based on a theme.

Charity Corner is currently broken and awarding items of any rarity for items of any rarity. Be careful donating r90+ items as you have a very, very small chance of not getting your money's worth for them.

I would actually suggest not to donate at all until this is fixed. As JN had said, there's still 10 days left and there's no rush as there's no high score table.

That glitch goes both ways, apparently. I just donated 5 Tablet of Water Runes (r88) and got a Zafara Double Agent Usuki (r98 and 400k on JN but probably not gonna get nearly that much but still).
Time to empty out the rest of my r<90 books.
