Bought the apple and finished today's AaN, but I'm still upset about missing yesterday. :/ I'm tempted to at least buy the prize before it's fixed just in case it turns out to be decent, however unlikely that may be. Edit: Also, I doubt the potion is a healer or freezer, given the description. I doubt it's a great item, since TNT had no idea any of these event items were going to be that much trouble to get (as apparent from their previous 15/17 requirement). So I bet they set it just like your average event prize: pretty much not worth the NP. As for r99 items deflating and being unhappy with having paid more for something previously... do these people PLAY Neopets? That sort of thing happens all the time, in events or plots or new dailies. That's just life in Neopia. XD |

I wonder if maybe it doesn't do anything yet because they decided hat since it was so hard to get it should be worth the NP and scrapped what it was originally going to do in favor of something better. I started the Item Donation aspect of this event and I love it. I've already gotten two UBs and if all the items sell I will be several hundred thousand points closer to my 45mil goal. They really got these item sink events working well now.

I'm not sure whether to be more happy that BVU is included in this event and immortalized in the form of an item, or upset that the item selection for today is so much worse. Giant Red Kelp, Giant Green Kelp (fairly easy to get from fishing, so doesn't inflate as much)
Abominable Snowball Light String (starting to inflate a bit, but the Snowager's been asleep etc. so)
Fresh Bamboo Chair (One of the pain-in-the-rear items, still inflating. EDIT: from the Mysterious Negg Puzzle.)
Bean Bag of Nova (today's biggest pain-in-the-rear item that's already turned unbuyable. One of the Tombola "Winner" prizes.) |

HA! I fought the lag and won a few extra of today's annoyance. :D (Especially good because I didn't have it in the first place.) I only have three extra, but if anyone here needs it I'll send one your way~
The Fresh Bamboo Chair is from the Mysterious Negg Cave puzzles. I actually got one at ~11:55PM NST while I was rushing through my dailies. |D; Seems like they've gone up a bit too, but I have thirteen more so I can send those out as well.

Apparently Tombola is suppose to give away the Bean Bag of Nova. Odd choice for a Mystery Island daily to give away, but that's where people should try today to see if they're lucky enough to get one.

Duke Pikachu: No wonder it's not very common. Tombola is a horrible way to get items out, as the Coincidence event and quests have proven. The possible prize pool is too big, assuming that you even win in the fist place. EDIT: Okay, I put my extras up on the TP as reserved. If anyone needs one just offer anything. ( :

Is it bad that I'm having fun with this? Waiting up to see which items are going to be asked for, puzzling out what they are, ballparking which is going to be most valuable, then rushing to buy it up all in about five minutes. It's like gambling but with educated guesses, on a timer.

Although yesterday I went through and bought up a bunch of different common items that looked like they might be used in the future. (I focused mostly on world-centered items, since so far that's been used every other day.) And I'm clearly not the only one with that idea, since some of those items are already selling in the tens or hundreds of NP. Buuut I should be able to supply a good chunk of the forum and also turn a nice profit if we get a request from Altador, Tyrannia, Shenkuu, the Haunted Woods, Faerieland, Mystery Island, Geraptiku, Meridell, or possibly the Lost Desert. The batch of Brightvale items is probably useless now, but eh, it's all a calculated risk. |

I'm doing that myself, I'm going through the dailies and buying the cheap items that are under 100 NP and aren't toys. Of course when midnight rolls around I'm still going to try and buy the items, however if something happens and I don't get the most expensive one I may have it. Or if I do get all the items I'll see if anyone needs the extra one I have. |
