www.neopets.com/charitycorner/index.phtml Oh man, talk about an NP sink! This is super smart. :3 Donate 5 toy items of the same rarity, or hunt for specific items with the Adopt a Neopian. I like the "Adopt a Neopian" because you have to think about what item they're actually asking for. (Hint, it's probably one of the junk items you've got a zillion of in your SDB XD) And the Toy Drive is easy if you have duplicates of the same things (I have like 25 Tyrannian Skeith Plushies)

Not only that, apparently the prize you get can be ANY item that's in the rarity range you donated in. People are reporting getting a whole batch of unbuyable items. It's not only a major NP/item sink but it looks like it's going to deflate a whole lot of rare items too!  |

Ooooh, is THAT how it works? I just figured it was from an item pool, since I was getting furniture and clothes and stuff. *goes to donate more stuff*
((AUGH this lag is unbearable! And it's afflicting Jellyneo too. ;__; *wanted to use their item search to find cheap r90+ items XD* ))

Mildly annoyed; I cleaned out my safety deposit box of anything that was a toy or a plushie I have more than one of, but for some reason the charity corner wont' take a lot of my toys... I really don't get it, they are classified in the item description as "toy" what's the problem?

Mildly annoyed; I cleaned out my safety deposit box of anything that was a toy or a plushie I have more than one of, but for some reason the charity corner wont' take a lot of my toys... I really don't get it, they are classified in the item description as "toy" what's the problem? I noticed they don't take anything labeled as (special) rarity, which was a lot of my duplicate junk toys. XD |

I just did almost all of my r90-99 toys. Thank you, Koi Warrior~ And hoarding tendencies.

Baaah, I'm always careful to get rid of useless items before they pile up, and this is my reward? 8I They're making it difficult not to hoard. xD "Any item in that rarity range" is too vague for me, I don't have anything specific I want... (watch me remember what I want as soon as the event is over) So I won't try too hard for this one, I didn't even try the Coincidence either. Aw well, I have a few things in my SDB, but just a few... *eyes Koi Warrior*

I donated some NC items with the wrapping paper thingy from the NC Mall. People are saying this is going to even out the economy a little bit... which I think is a good thing? But I know some people are getting really hairy about it. It's only until the 31st so surely it wouldn't have too much effect in the long run? I don't know, I'm speaking as a newbie here.  |

It's a complicated issue. Honestly I have no idea what the end result of this is going to be. I can do into the pros and cons of the implications of this if you want, though note it would be pure speculation on my part and what I've read others are saying. I do plan on giving my full opinion of this event when its over as well. |
