Is it bad that I'm having fun with this? Waiting up to see which items are going to be asked for, puzzling out what they are, ballparking which is going to be most valuable, then rushing to buy it up all in about five minutes. It's like gambling but with educated guesses, on a timer. I think that's called "playing Neopets" :] Norly, I'm also having more fun with this event than I've had on Neo for years (plots kinda don't do as much for me) and I'm doing entirely different things (mostly clearing out my overclogged SDB, either to sell or to throw in grandma's gaping maw). Point being, I like this event because it gives the option to play the site in a whole buncha different ways, whatever appeals to a given player the most. It's like watching a great big machine full of interlocking gears. |

Mm, I think if something goes unbuyable early, then yeah, just wait til later in the day. I got the Nova for 60k, which isn't so bad.
This is definitely making me play my dailies more often, though. XD

I had a Fresh Bamboo Chair in my (new) Neohome, so I put it back in my Storage Shed... but it's not there. Eep. I hope this isn't a glitch.

People are focused more on jacking up prices to make a profit off of those who don't stay up late enough than focusing on the real spirit of the holiday, which kind of ruins the event for everyone else. Now excuse me while I go sell these tyrannian plushies for 30k a pop. |

I still have three two sets up on the TP for anyone here who doesn't want to spend thousands. ovo
Last night I bought a bunch of Blue Ixi Plushies to throw at the donation page. Probably won't get anything extra for it but it's kinda' fun, lag aside.

So I bought the Nova bean bag thing for someone as a Christmas present a few years back. I tried to send it to her, but her inbox was full. Then I NMed her but she never got back to me. So into the ol' SDB it went. I felt bad at the time, now I don't.  |
