Anyone still have a spare box? <.< I'm really hoping one of these days they'll ask for something that I actually have in my SDB. xD I always knew not being a hoarder would come back to bite me! (I have a box, but your inventory seems to be full >_>; ) Awww man, it's been giving me that "full inventory" notice whenever I have 49 items lately. >.< Sorry about that. Try again now?

... what... WHAT?! You mean you can't use the Tea Biscuits EVEN THOUGH IT EXACTLY FITS WHAT THE CHARACTER WANTS!? It actually doesn't exactly fit what they want. The Vandagyre said he wanted an assortment, and last I checked, that Tea Biscuit item is only one type of biscuit. Chill your grill.

But he also mentioned it was for tea and the Assorted Mini Biscuits don't say anything about tea. Also there are two biscuits in the image for Tea Biscuits, had there only been one I would have kept on looking.

You can't give someone a handful of chocolate chip cookies and call that an assortment. Also, so what if the descrip didn't mention anything about tea? The Giant Red Kelp/Giant Green Kelp didn't say anything about using it for decoration, but that's what was asked for in the Brightvale quest. XD

XD But there's no kelp item that has "decoration" or the like in it name. There is however a biscuit item that has "assortment" and a biscuit item that has "tea". What makes "assortment" stand out anymore than "tea"? Both were used as descriptors. And it's not just me who was fooled, checking the boards there were players who thought "Tea Biscuit" was the item until proven otherwise (and checking the TP for the Assorted Mini Biscuits I recall seeing one or two that also included Tea Biscuits).

I'm not saying you were the only one fooled. I too tried Tea Biscuit before looking up which one was the right answer. I'm merely saying your claim that it was EXACTLY THE ITEM MATCHING THE DESCRIPTION AAAAAAAAH HATE HATE HATE was wrong. Also. Someone hands me 3 Oreos. Can I eat them with tea? Yes. (Whaaaat? Even if they don't claim they're for tea? ) Can I call them an assortment? Nope. Never. Until the end of days. In no scenario are 3 of the same item an assortment.

Okay, it wasn't exactly matching, though I do stand behind my HATE HATE HATE. And yes, by strict terms "assortment" means various different items. However when you're rushing to figure out what the actual biscuit is you're not thinking of the exact definition. Here's what it said about the biscuits: "An assortment of biscuits to go with the tea would be great, too."Now this is just how I figured things. Obviously they wanted a biscuit but I know for a fact there are many biscuit items so I wanted to narrow my search down (little did I know had I just looked for a biscuit item that Assorted Mini Biscuit is the first one). Now what word would you focus on next to help narrow your search? "Assortment"? All I got from assortment was that there was more than one biscuit. In addition if you tried that you wouldn't get the Assorted Mini Biscuits as they use "AssortED" and don't use "assortment" in its description. "Tea" on the other hand is more definite in the biscuit's purpose and using that narrowed my search to the cheap "Tea Biscuit". In a puzzle that involves searching for something the choice of words is very important. Can you eat Oreos with tea? Yeah, sure. But if a puzzle told you to find a cream sandwich cookie so they can have with their tea you'll probably look for a cream sandwich cookie that is specifically meant to go with tea.

...Can I just say it's a game and maybe we're getting a little overly worked up? It seems to me that getting wrong guesses is part of the challenge. You won't always guess the right thing immediately, and with literally millions of items on the site there are bound to be two or more items that can match a vague description like "an assortment of biscuits to go with the tea." It's a bummer if you guess the wrong thing because of the way it's worded, but that's not really a fault on the part of TNT. If anything adding an extra layer of challenge like that would be a plus for me, since otherwise why not just spell out what it is the requester wants?

Agreed with Shinko . The wording was a little weird, sure, but today isn't the first day with a confusing request and it probably won't be the last. Lots of people bought regular Grackle Bugs a few days ago when the request was for the cheapo Maraquan Grackle Bug. I was confused the other night with the Faellie book request because it didn't occur to my sleep-deprived brain immediately that the pink book and the grooming book referred to two different books. I'm guessing other people also had the same inclination to search 'tea' rather than 'assorted/assortment' today. Mistakes happen. It's not worth getting overly fussed about. Especially since you can make up your losses by battling for r90 plushies and selling them (Sabre-X is the best if you have a pet who can beat him). I kinda like that TNT is being vague. Even if it's only for a moment, the resellers have to figure out the items on their own as well.

The Toy Drive has been fun, but I think I may be out for the count with the Adopt portion. Unless I can find everything I need over the next 6/11 days in my SDB or under 10k total of what's missing, I think I'm done here. I know I won't really use the avvie, if it's the big prize and not the little prize, and I really need more rest. This staying-up-to-insane-hours has really taken a toll.
Still fun to watch, even if in a bit of a schadenfreude kind of way. x)

Does anyone need tea? I know it's not much, but it would be a shame to waste them.
Also, does anyone have a spare box? xp

Besides during the day there's nothing else to really talk about as most of our discussion of that days "Adopt A Neopian" items happen at the turn of the day. And it's not getting the wrong answer which is the problem, it's that getting a wrong answer may mean you then have to get an item which costs several thousand NP if not being outright unbuyable for most of the day. That's the part which does get a bit on my nerve and how TNT didn't foresee this being what happened during The Coincidence (even if TNT planned this Event during that time, they still had plenty of time to change things to prevent this from happening again). Does anyone need tea? I know it's not much, but it would be a shame to waste them. Also, does anyone have a spare box? xp Well if you wait around midnight usually the resellers start putting them onto the Shop Wizard trying to do a last minute sell.

Okay, but I'm going to have to stop doing this. Neo midnight is a horrible time for me, and waiting for it is starting to really mess up my day life xp Just stupid stuff I do because I'm sleep deprived, most of the damage is because this stuff angers the people around me avatar or not, rl is more important, even if it is less fun most of the time
