Ooh, that's interesting, apparently Assorted Mini Biscuits can be used instead of Tea Biscuits! So it looks like TNT IS trying to have multiple answers (which they should have done in the first place, if their goal is to get rid of the extra junk items I don't see how targeting specific ones is going to help). This gives me hope that future "Adopt A Neopians" will have multiple choices for all the asked items!

This item isn't from a daily... it was from an Event. Specifically the Food Eating Contest. TNT has chosen an item that's no longer being given out as a prize...

*pets* There there... unless my memory is very much mistaken, I got my boxes from TDMBGPOP. Oh... okay, now looking at the TDMBGPOP's page it says it can give any toy that's r89 and below... Still, that's still a lot of toy items you could have also gotten (you got lucky, can a borrow a cup of it?). And the "Adopt A Neopian" should not be asking for Toys as the Toy Drive is asking exclusively for those (then again I suppose it could ask for Special/r101 toys since the Toy Drive doesn't accept those). |

I do have some extras of everything else in my SDB, just not the box. Assorted Mini Biscuits x3, Pandaphant Hand Puppet x9, Brown Rice Bowl x10, and Black Cherry Tea x13. If anyone would like them just ask. Duke Pikachu: I completely agree about toys not being good options for the AaN potion of the event. I was going to rant about it just before you but stopped myself. I especially don't understand why the box was picked. :/ @torkie10: If it isn't r101 (and it's not; it's r79) then it's not event/daily exclusive and you shouldn't worry about using it. The box is just a random toy item, and more will restock in the Toy Shop eventually~ Edit to add: The mini biscuits can be won from the Chia Clown and all other Neopia Central 1P challengers, if anyone wants to try their hand at getting them themselves. |

WHAT?! You mean you can't use the Tea Biscuits EVEN THOUGH IT EXACTLY FITS WHAT THE CHARACTER WANTS! Tea Biscuits were already about 200np each, and this event seems to be specifically going for items that were 1-5np each before the event began. This is the third time I've managed to do the next task right at the turn of midnight, so I went to Jellyneo's item database, searched "biscuit" and ordered by price, and Assorted Mini Biscuits were the cheapest thing I found. Of course, then I went flerp on Strange Growling Box, because JN already had it listed at 500np since it had inflated due to the event. It was the last item I figured out, and searched it JUST as it went unbuyable on the Wiz. (There was a shop with 3 in it at 99999, but lag prevented me from grabbing one AAAGH.) But I managed to get one as a bunch went up on the Trading Post. I've got a leftover Pandaphant Puppet if anyone needs it, anyway. They went unbuyable briefly, then dropped in price again. |

And that's it for me. As nice as the idea of the event is in general, asking for a toy while the toy drive is going on is really stupid. And I will certainly not invest hundreds of thousands of neopoints for the sake of the event. No matter if there's a chance for a new avatar or not. The only avatar I'm willing to invest lots of NP in is the Candychan avatar, but I'm already refusing to invest in the expensive wheel one or the rich book ones.

I had all 5 items in my SDB thankfully. Don't know when/where I got some of them since the biscuits and box don't look familiar to me in the slightest.
It is kind of worrying that they're asking for toys. It's almost like nobody at TNT thought this through. Shocker...

^This. Also please. :x I would love to see it in the times. Probably wouldn't be nearly so relevant, considering TNT doesn't return to their office 'til Jan 5, when the event would have since been long ended. Yeah, no, it's also far too much of a you-had-to-be-there kind of joke. Buuut that doesn't mean I can't draw it for the benefit of y'alls.  As for the whole insane price fluctuation business, seems to me that TNT didn't anticipate the demand going up that much; on the face of it, it's a give-toys-take-toys event and the prizes aren't the sort that're traditionally in huge demand (like paintbrushes). |

Anyone still have a spare box? <.< I'm really hoping one of these days they'll ask for something that I actually have in my SDB. xD I always knew not being a hoarder would come back to bite me!
I have to admit, this is an innovative challenge on TNT's part. If you're a hoarder (or wealthy), it's not nearly as difficult, just like the Games Master Challenge and Daily Dare aren't that difficult for Flash gamers, or wars for Battledomers, or puzzles for puzzle-solvers. It's nice to see an event that takes things in a different direction and tests Neopians' abilities to either a) accumulate a bunch of seemingly-useless junk over the years or b) have the money on-hand to buy what they need.
