So...
Matt Burnett (One of the writers for Steven Universe) is BEGGING the fanbase to refrain from looking at any leak spoilers for Week 3 and Week 4 of the Steven Nuke. That is, the two weeks following this one.
I'm a bit nervous and just slightly terrified what could be so major that would cause him to ask us to avoid leaks just this one time... But I'll respect it. And I wanted to spread the word so hopefully people here will as well.

Then yeah any leak will cause problems.

Then yeah any leak will cause problems. I took a look at the upcoming ep. names and even those have a fair amount of intrigue. (I'm a little confused as to the order after this Thursday's, but this is what I've got.) Mon: Gem Hunt (#96) Tue: Crack the Whip (#97) Wed: Steven vs. Amethyst (#98) Thu: Bismuth (#99) Fri: Beta (#101); Earthlings (#100?)
Back to the Moon Bubbled The Kindergarten Kid Know Your Fusion EDIT: By the way, has anyone else tried the new Soundtrack Attack game? The story's a little dumb, but the game itself is better than I expected. It actually gets somewhat challenging faster than I expected - granted, my phone's specs are a little low, so it lags sometimes. The scoring seems lax (probably for the kiddies), but still, some of those beat-patterns can be complicated. All the songs are supposed to be remixes of songs from the show, but so far I've only recognized ones with lyrics. Still catchy, either way. (I do love electronic.) Something I find interesting is that's it's a free app, with no in-app purchases, and it does have ads, but viewing them is completely voluntary (you could also watch them as many times as you like in the store [that uses in-game currency]). That's probably one of the more interesting, and user-friendly FTP models I've seen.

The thing I hate is how they used to have all these sort of games online, and now they're all apps, so I can't play any ;_;

Just a PSA: Cartoon Network has released some official previews for this week's batch of episodes. However, while they are official, not leaks, the previews for Crack the Whip and Steven vs. Amethyst apparently spoil something significant about Gem Hunt. (Don't ask me what; I haven't watched any of them) From what I've heard people that have seen it say, it's on the caliber of the first scene of Log Date 7 15 2 spoiling the events of Message Received.
So just be aware if you're trying to avoid spoilers!

Gem Hunt Jasper wat are you doing. (and how did she get from the ocean to a snowy mountaintop so quickly?)
I think that Malachite experience did really bad things to her mind. :X

Spoilers for Gem Hunt: It's been noted elsewhere that the two corrupted gems in this episode are both possibly varieties of jasper. (Specifically, the red one Biggs Jasper and the blue one Ocean Jasper)

Crack the Whip Oh, she's making an army so she can defeat Rose... uh, okay. Someone please give her the patch notes. Rose is long gone my friend, you're fighting a meaningless battle here. :'D
Also, ouch. Poor Amethyst. This path is a little worrying, considering the theme we've been having recently about corruption. 8D
(This episode was... poorly animated. Jasper and Amethyst in particular were so off model it hurt.)

Spoilers for episodes up to Crack the Whip. Well, Jasper's making a comeback. With uh, some very worrying mental health, particularly in Alone at Sea. ='D I wonder if she'll ever try to contact Homeworld, or if Homeworld will ever find her ...And for that matter, if Jasper finds Peridot... Uh, the latter had better hide. xD And poor Amethyst indeed. That's quite a beatdown and... not a fun thing to contend with, mentally. (I wonder if she stays with that kind of clothing, will that mean a new intro thing next episode?) Killix - Oof, yeah, with that kind of arc... Though I've been wondering if some gem or another would end up corrupted in the course of events or if that'd be a flashback thing. I was starting to lean towards the latter, what with the corruption seeming to have been caused by that Diamond flash of light. But it could happen, if there's a mental health complete breakage... ...Actually, I'm more worried about Jasper on the front of potentially becoming a corrupted gem, given her current mental state. (...Actually, I had a thought. If the Diamonds caused most of the corruptions of the gems on Earth via their light thing... How come the CGs that stand now weren't affected? Were they somewhere else? Did they know ahead of time and hide? Maybe that'll be answered another episode, though.)

Think it's already been answered. As said by Greg in The Return: "No such thing as a good war, kiddo. Gems were destroyed, people too... In the end, your mother could only save a handful of her closest friends. If it weren't for her shield, man, I don't know."
So if that's correct, Rose saved herself, Pearl, and Garnet with her shield. Amethyst hadn't emerged from the Kindergarten yet and Lapis was still in the mirror, so we can also presume that the Diamond's attack only affected gems with their bodies active at that moment.

Steven vs Amethyst This was a good episode about Steven and Amethyst supporting each other, but what I also notice from this is a very obvious difference between Amethyst and Jasper. That in the end, Amethyst has people who love and support her. Jasper does not. GelquieI think that without help, Jasper's mental state is going to continue to deteriorate as she fights this meaningless battle, ultimately resulting in her corruption. There's been a running theme of corruption and "we just can't help some people" and I'm worried. 8'D This is either the beginning of her redemption arc... or the beginning to her demise.

Welp. Fan-flipping-tastic. Word of warning guys, stay off of YouTube until tonight's episodes ( Beta and Earthlings) air. Because I just stumbled upon a thumbnail from Earthlings in the Recommended section and it was an ENORMOUS spoiler.
