It's easy to go through your old work and see how bad you used to be. But it's much nicer and more motivating to go through your old work and see that, while most a lot of it is bad, some of it is actually, to use the second most effective phrasing I'm comfortable using, pretty darn good.

I met Giada De Laurentiis. She is every bit the wonderfully nice person she seems to be on TV. We actually talked a little. <3
