Yeah I meant Switch lite. Digital sounds cool! I'll look into that, still not sure I'll buy the system at all, I'll see how much I have to trade.

I think I'll pass on the Lite and go for the full Switch. Most of the problems mentioned with traveling with the normal one isn't a issue for me. I would be playing mostly on the TV or in my house anyways. Plus I don't want limitations for what games I can and can't play.
Like I want to go to my friend's house and play with him and his sister in a game on separate switches without a issue, because I need joycons or something.

Switch Lite cons: - It doesn't switch at all. (the main feature/draw of the Switch console) - No detachable joycons. If a game requires the missing joycon features, then you have to purchase a pair of joycons in order to play. (plus a dock so you can charge them. This can get pretty expensive.) - Not compatible with games that don't support Handheld mode. (and for those interested in Labo, it's non-compatible with Labo period) - $200 ($260 CAD) is still pretty steep for a system they chopped a bunch of features from. - This "cheaper version" likely means that there will be no price drops on the standard Nintendo Switch.
I wouldn't turn a Lite down if someone wanted to give me one, but I'm probably not going to spend my money on it. I do want a Switch, but I want one that can play games on my television. I think I'll just hold out for the standard Switch's price to drop... (and if they never drop it down to something more reasonable, I guess I'm just not getting one. XP It's $460 here and that's just the beginning because games are $70-$90 each. Nope, just nope.)

Yeah, the Lite is really meant to provide an entry level system that could be seen as a 3DS upgrade with only one screen.
I have a Switch already. I would be willing to see what a Switch Pro would have to offer. I’m not expecting much from Nintendo though. 4K or HDR is a pipe dream. I am more expecting a spec bump on the Nvidia SoC that’ll probably allow games to run at 60 FPS and a system that isn’t portable.

About Fire Emblem:
I heard that Black Eagles is the most popular house. Despite this, I’m going to choose it. The other options are The Blue Lions and the Golden Deer. Anybody planning to choose a different house? One of my coworkers said she was choosing the Golden Deer.

I'm also going for the Black Eagles on my first playthrough. Speaking of Fire Emblem, I was lucky to draw Edelgard from the Three Houses Banner in Heroes As the game is out globally, be wary of spoilers on the Internet if you haven't even started playing the game yet

Also I chose to enable online features and I guess the FE servers had trouble so they are undergoing maintenance right now. Online isn’t just for multiplayer, you can receive spirits which give items and stuff during single player mode with online. This morning I had the connection time out several times even though there was nothing wrong with my internet.

Newsflash, there are four paths in Three Houses. One house has a forked path with hidden requirements my coworker told me about. I only planned to play through three paths so I may just watch the playthrough of the extra one.

Heads up... Spoilers for the game story is fine. But just normal discussion on houses? It's in all the ads! Or for basic game functions? Those aren't spoilers, I don't care what you say.
Now saying this one character will die in this chapter, so don't get attached, or something along those lines, ok.
Also, maybe label the spoilers? I come in here and just see mystery spoilers, even if I don't want to be spoiled, I'm going to click them to see what in the world you're trying to hide XD
Also, I'm going with the Blue Barracudas.

I must have messed up somewhere because the Part I to Part II transition fights were insanely hard. I am playing on Hard/Casual because I don’t want to be stuck forever.
I plan on beating the main Black Eagles path and the starting a Golden Deer run right after. I might take a break before doing a Blue Lions run. Then I just might consider the secondary Black Eagles path. Yeah remember my game backlog? I’m crumpling that up to play Three Houses.
I just need to do this before the April 2020 mysterious “additional story content” DLC drops.

Alright, so I cleared Black Eagles, but around Chapter 15, I dropped the difficulty to Normal because I was so frustrated. I sprinted through the game though. I’ve started three new game plus files for the other house and the second path for Black Eagles. I’ve set the difficulty on hard and I’m going to take my time. The next path I will play is Golden Deer.
I did enjoy this quite a bit more than Fates though, at least the battles were more interesting and the story draws you in. There were twists and turns that did surprise me. Plus, I thought the professor aspect added a fun dimension to the game. Anyways, I’m going to see how the other paths play out.

Has anyone here played 'Bravely Default' before? I just can't seem to beat Ominas the fire mage, it's driving me insane! And this is still part of the tutorial... The advice I found online is all "heal with your white mage!", but my white mage can't actually heal people yet...I do have a bunch of potions I've been having her utilise but that's it.
It also says 'Default to 4bp!'...but I can't Default above 3bp right now. I've been trying out a few strategies so can't really say what the Main Thing I've been doing was or whatever.
I currently have a white mage (Agnes) and two freelancers, but I guess I could make one of the freelancers a monk...was mostly holding off on that for aesthetic reasons haha. EDIT: NVM I WORKED IT OUT needed to actually buy spells haha. Now playing with Tiz as a monk, Edea as a knight, Agnes as a white mage and Ringabel as a black mage!

If my first Three Houses run took 30 hours, then my second Golden Deer run might take more than twice as long. I’m taking the time to beat paralogues and train. The Golden Deer house just seems to be more fun though. Not having to worry about how they will serve an Emperor or King might make everyone less stressed out.
