This is a pretty tentative idea I had, but... seeing as I'm in London right now, and I will be here for three months, is there any chance any of you NTWFers in the UK would be interested in a meetup?  'Cause I don't know when I'll get the chance again to see you people, and it could make for a really fun weekend! If London isn't a convenient location, we could take the meetup somewhere else - I do intend to travel around the UK and even into Europe while I'm here - though it might be a little harder to arrange since I'm pretty much not going to be traveling out of London by myself, and I'd have to talk one of my groupmates into coming with me. XD So! Does something like this sound at all fun to you guys? |

Yes please! =D I'm always open to meeting more NTWFers. The only problem for me would be cost and timing, since Scotland is a fair bit away and the only time I would have free is in late March/early April, which may or may not be convenient. However, if you'd like to come up here then I'd be happy to show you around and give you a floor to sleep on. ^^
Long story short, that would be fun, ja! =D

So it looks like a London meetup would be convenient for at least four of us! Celes, I'd love it if you could make it too, but if not, I do want to travel up to Scotland at least once so if you can't make it to London, maybe I could make it up to visit you. |

I might be able to come to this, but it depends on when it is and how easy/expensive getting to London would be. xD I'll probably just decide after you guys figure out the details.

Well, at this point, I have pretty much every weekend free - I haven't yet made specific plans for travelling out of the country. Once I do, my availability will get narrowed down a bit. I can say for sure that I won't be in town for my spring break - Feb 17-25 - since I'm probably going to either Ireland or Italy.
(Also, while this probably isn't a good time for a proper meetup because it's in the middle of the week and wouldn't be convenient for people outside London... I don't seem to have any classes on Tuesday. And everyone else in my group does. So yeah, I'm likely to be bored and lonely if anyone wants to meet up on a Tuesday. XD)

...are any of you Doctor Who fans? Would anyone be interested in joining me for a visit to the Doctor Who Experience that's currently in London? I was thinking of doing it on Feb 14, or the preceding weekend if a Tuesday doesn't work out.
Sorry, this has nothing to do with the meetup, really, but a good number of you are in London and I thought I'd ask. I have a better chance of finding nerd company here on the NTWF than in my study abroad group from college. XD;Edit: Never mind, I've decided to take the Tuesday ticket after all. xD; |
