I might scrap my current NaNo and start writing something more carefully and aim for 25k words.
Just cause. I want something actually /useable/ that will do one of my ideas justice.
I'm just not feeling my current idea. Not now.
Maybe not for a while.

Ugh, I'm stuck! Time to do some serious NaNo/plot thinking. >_<' Why must my main character be so loyal? Should I change the whole story line? I'm lost!
You could have something dramatic and unexpected happen, like a person barging into the room with a crossbow and demanding a fight with your MC? :3

That... is a very good idea! Houston , I've solved the problem!
I think I'll have my main character think about betraying his friends, but someone else does it. And my MC is still framed...yes, this will all work out nicely! >:3
Thank you very much, Sabre! *glomp*

Just googled "How long does it take a body to decompose?" Ah NaNoWriMo, and its tendency to give us unfortunate searches. XD

Just googled "How long does it take a body to decompose?" Ah NaNoWriMo, and its tendency to give us unfortunate searches. XD xD; I was mentioning earlier in the month that my searches had mostly been about things like Victorian firearms, the physiological effects of various illegal substances, and biological warfare. Now that I check my Google search history again, I'm finding things like, "how do you use a percussion cap pistol", "what is a fancy red wine", and "what is a good drink for forgetting". I'm definitely on every watch list in the country by this point.

Hey, if there wasn't any Internet invented, I don't think NaNo would have even happened in the first place (or it could have, to a limited degree). We would probably have to get that information the old fashioned way- by going to someone who was an expert in the field or the library.
Oh, Zylaa, before I forget, how long it would take for a body to decompose will depend mainly on the environment and area where the body was placed, but there are other factors as well that could speed up or slow down the the decomp process.

I am writing more carefully and it's taking longer, but I am finding it more rewarding. I think this is better, even if I am ridiculously behind at this point. I am liking where the story is going (er, starting out).
...If worse comes to worst, I can always crank out twenty thousand words of padding over the last weekend. <_<

After writing 4,000 words in one sitting, I feel like I can do anything! *strikes superhero pose* Which is good, because I need to build a three day buffer for a youth fall retreat this weekend. Here I go...Geronimo!!!

Argh. Storywise I am so far behind. *headdesk* All I need to do is just - sit down early some morning and write and write for hours until I remember the pulse of this, but I keep on waking up at, like, noon, and I write rubbish in the afternoons. *scowls* And I write okayish in the evenings if I have a time limit, but it still tends to end up with me failingatwriting until, like, three a.m. which does not help with the waking-up-too-late thing.
*pokes Word document gloomily and goes back to ignoring it when nothing happens*
