Argh. Storywise I am so far behind. I've spent 8k plus words on a backstory for a character and no plot advancement whatsoever. I've accepted that this novel will continue beyond November, even if I get 50k words. XD |

...Is it just me, or is the statistics page really wonky? My actual wordcount is just fine, but when I go to see my average per day and words written today it's not displaying properly.
Not sure if anyone else is having that problem. :/

Not sure if anyone else is having that problem. :/ *raises hands* Ditto. For words-written-today, anyhow, haven't really looked at the average. I kept on being like 'why do you insist it is only 219 words! It is probably more than that by now,' it was a bit disorienting. |

I think it includes how many words you've written today in its estimation, so if you haven't written any words yet for the day, it might mess it up a bit? I don't know if that's the problem, though. XD; EDIT: In terms of word average, anyway. |

So today's Simpsons episode was all about writing a novel. I found it strangely appropriate. XD
(Especially the part where Lisa was procrastinating on writing. >_> <_<)

In order to catch up and win, I will need to write a little less than 5,000 words every day until the end of the month. Unless I can push out 10k in one day, maybe. Gaaah!

TV schedules + timezones = ?) in other news, when you randomly decide that maybe it's more appropriate to use a character's title in certain scenes, and go ahead and do it just to add more words and just this adds like 80 words yep |
