Day 1, and I've already failed the recommended daily wordcount. Yay. :^D
To be fair, today was a busy day and I only had two hour-long sessions to write, with several distractions. Let's see how tomorrow goes.

Let's see how tomorrow goes. I failed worse than you (not even to 500 words!) and I actually had most of the day available to write. I so couldn't focus today. XD

Less than 700 words and I'm already like "uhhhhh what I don't know what to do with this."
This may become a month of incredibly random plot twists and tangents.

Alright screw it. I'm only a day behind, and I've wanted to try this for years. Time to find a plot bunny,a couple cool characters...and a bunch of ninjas to attack! ...this won't end well.

Last night, I went to the first day write-in at a local coffee cafe. Very cool and trendy place! All the orders are placed using iPads. Payment by card and signature too... And had a small beer and wine selection, plus a great gourmet menu (I got some excellent bruschetta to munch on, and a some beer and wine over the course of the write in).
Got there late compared to everyone else (work schedule), and the designated area was full. But I wasn't the only one to show up later and we had quite a few over flow.
Right about my two hour mark (which included time for texting, FB, eating, etc), I hit quota. And kept going. I broke 3k about the 4.5 hour mark, before deciding it was time to go home. I basically only wrote the prologue. But I may want to add more to that. So I think I've got a good start here.

I finally have some time to write today, and it's ten o'clock at night. xD; Can I do something utterly astounding and write my daily quota in two hours? It is time to find out.

You can do it! You can do it with your words.
... And. Oh. I should probably do some writing today, shouldn't I. >.>;; Right. On it.

I'm already 4k behind on my wordcount. (I'm doing 2k a day, then taking one day off every week.)
Midterms are a valid excuse, though. I hope to get at least 4k, maybe 6k done tomorrow to catch up! If I'm feeling motivated, maybe even 8k. I can be a bit over-ambitious. XD
