I started writing at 12:00am, and stopped at 1:45am. I had such a hard time waking up this morning. I will never do that again! But I got my word count done. Wow, you got all your 1667 words done in less than two hours? I am beyond impressed! Way to go! xD; *is the slowest NaNoer ever*

I wrote more-or-less constantly (although somewhat distractedly) from midnight to 2:30, and I only got up to 649. xD; *shuffles* Time to pick up the pace a bit, I think, Tamia.

I've got a friend who posted on my FB wall that he'd gotten 1,750 words in two hours. Whereas I'm sitting here with under 200 words because I've only just made up characters and have the motivation to start...lol

it typically takes me about 20 minutes to write about 250 words, but i get distracted so easily. lol. i'm not used to only writing one thing at once.

While I do get my daily word count down in about two hours, it's all crap! xD My grammar is terrible, (if you haven't noticed) which probably helps the inner editor in me give up. ;D

Everything got a lot easier once I reminded myself that this is not a novel but a script-type-whatever-thing. And wrote an opening scene that I was happy with. (the interlude at the beginning could do with a bit of a dialogue shift but welp I am not going to touch that now I just need to focus on my word count and making things happen.) *is one of those perfectionists who can't keep writing unless everything is perfect and in order and satisfying* Also - having a main character that is a total mottermouth is going to be such a lifesaver in the long run. xD

Whew! 2,708 words @.@ Two and a half hour power-writing session with only a semi-break to eat a sub with one hand was apparently effective!
I had to restart twice today ^^; I got stuck, because my intro, while it would've been beautiful as a movie, was not transferring well to paper.

So since my novel this year is the continuation of the plot from last year's, I ended up skimming through last year's novel last night to catch up on all the details I needed to know. I was a little surprised how fast I could skim through all 50,000 of those words, though granted I skipped past some of the less important bits. XD
Either way, there was this one part that I thought was written rather poorly and now I want to rewrite it except I know I shouldn't and I can't decide whether I should write the upcoming story bit based off of the revised version in my mind or stick with the current one and remind myself to edit it later. XD; Ack!

Go, NTWFers, go! *pom-poms*
I'm on fire today! And I really, really like what I'm writing. It's fun, the characters are all screaming at each other and revealing hilarious quirks, and scenes are going weird places I hadn't anticipated, and it's just... whee! =D
