Oh man, you guys, there are so many of us this year. xD *high-fives everyone* I'm excited. Are you excited? 'Cos I am. I think the biggest struggle with NaNo is that you have this awesome idea early October but you cant write a single word until November. Booooo! This is true. xD This is also one of the reasons I don't worry about tightening up my plans for my novel until about October 28th. That reason, and, you know, just general procrastination. Excited? Last week I already started sending out possible dates for meetings during November to my NaNo-writing group! We have been all excited since our September-meeting and have been mailing each other story ideas the whole month *g* While I'm all excited about November, I'm also slightly glad that I have a whole month to get back into writing practice (and yes, I have several stories lounging around which will help me with the training). I usually try to pick up writing-speed in September, but this year it was utterly unproductive. So hopefully October will help so that I stand a chance for succeeding with NaNo again. *g* |

I'm nervous. I've never done anything like this ever. The most I've written was a 3000 word NT story. But I'm also excited to try.

I should be not doing this because I am attending university now and I am have to start taking things seriously and I am really bad at managing my time but I am finding it hard to care! This is going to be soooo great.  |

I'm looking forward to it. I have a story that I'm getting really excited about, partially because it mixes a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, with one of my awesome story dreams that I've had in the past (my writer friends are jealous that I have so many of those but I think part of it has to do with just taking the dream and twisting it around until you like it as a story). I'm just hoping that I'll still be excited about it at the start of next month. *wants to write nao*
It's going to be based off of The Three Little Birds story by the Brothers Grimm, and I'm having a hard time finding a working title.

aside from the odd poem i haven't written anything creative or fictional in over a year.
i've completely forgotten nearly every single idea i've ever had for any story.
why don't i write these things down
