My semi-formal shoes fell apart just when I needed them, so I had to get new ones.
I often have issues where this style of shoe is uncomfortable because it's leather.It chafes and rubs. However, the fabric ones which are more comfy look trashy and cheap.
I managed to find shoes which are leather but have a fabric rim that protects my feet from being shredded by the hard leather. Success!

As much as I like visiting America, there is something I despise about that country with all of my heart.
Y'all, what is the obsession with ice? Please use less ice. I have sensitive teeth and I could barely drink anything over there without being in pain.

Unless it's summer and really hot, I don't want ice. That said, ice can improve the flavor of water, because the taste of it can be different even in adjoining counties. I still go without most of the time. |

"Excessive ice in drinks" was one of them, but possibly the most shocking to me was "large gaps in toilet doors". |

i used to hate excessive ice until i realized more ice = less drink and in free refill world, i wanted to pretend i got my money's worth so i loaded on the ice to use less soda. now i just do excessive ice with all sugary drinks etc to make it seem like i have more than i actually do. also. ice is good.

Well, I finally found a place that has the worst traffic I've experienced. Just had to go literally across the country for it. I made very good use of the Pedestrian Stare during my walks. (The Pedestrian Stare being when you see a car coming while you're crossing and have the right of way, and you look Directly At Them.) Most of the time it was fine, there were still cars that didn't need it. But it was the first time I had a particular point where. Car: *Approaching an area I'm right about to cross while I'm on the crosswalk.* Me: *Stare.* Car: ... *Inches closer, maybe a little closer, man they really want to go-* Me: *STARE. . .*I probably would've been fine driving, and I didn't for other reasons, but I'm glad I didn't have to drive.
