I really don't understand it when people say "I wish I was a child again, being an adult sucks!" I'll also add anybody that claims something trivial "ruins their childhood". If you're not a child anymore, how can your childhood be ruined? On a related note: I saw Care Bears in a store last week!!!! They were in the Baby Section, but they were so CUTE! I can't wait till I get my belated Christmas gift!  |

Got an email from a liquor delivery service I occassionally order from. That's not unusual by itself as I am subbed to their marketing, but this one was different.
The gist of it was "hey, we are going to be sending out a lot of Mother's Day marketing soon, but we know this can be a tough time for some people. If you don't want these emails, click here."
And you know what? That is nice. I appreciate this company having the grace and empathy to realise their marketing emails might be triggering to some. I respect them even more now. And will probably be buying some of their wares for my own mum in the near future. x3

Con: Came upon a random video recommendation while scrolling Youtube that majorly triggered an age old pain point of mine.
Pro: Managed to mentally move past it after a few moments and can proceed with a relatively normal night, whereas ten years ago it probably would've reduced me to a puddle for three days straight.
Boo that this is still a thing for me, but yay for progress?

I have never understood wanting a house and furniture that's all white. To me it feels like:
"Yes, I want a decor where every single stain and imperfection is visible, and if I care about the aesthetics then I will be dedicating myself to a lifetime of obsessively cleaning so it looks absolutely perfect no matter what. This sounds wonderful and not stressful at all."
