Gelquie : I'm, like, 99% certain I know what you're referring to. And like you, everything I know about it has been learned against my will. =_=

Blueysicle - You're probably right because I'm only barely making it subtle. xD Unlike you, I think I learn less each time I'm forced to hear about it because of how I hear about it.

If you're reading a shonen manga and you're expecting the big villain of the arc to be defeated by anyone other than the main character, I feel like you're kinda setting yourself up for disappointment.

It's the first day of Summer!
May we all enjoy the slowly shortening days until Autumn (the best season) comes and saves us from the heat and sunshine!

My mom were talking and she commented on how she wished that dogs could tell us what they were smelling, with all they smell.
I told her I'm glad they don't. Because. Just imagine. Remember all that dogs can smell. Then remember just how talkative dogs would be.
"Here's every single scent you smell like! Here's every single thing you've touched! You went to the bathroom recently; this is how it went!"
I'm just saying. We may have dodged a problem with that one.

So I had a thought.
The Madrigal family from Encanto is full of life, and in Mirabel's words: "so full of music." As soon as I heard that, I had a thought that I'll verbalize now.
Crossover where the Madrigals meet the Coco family at the beginning of Coco.

I'm happy that both my wireless and Internet services are finally back up after being offline for most of the day, but I am thoroughly ticked off at the outage as I lost a day of work and will have to make it up somehow, in addition to how long this outage lasted.

I find strawberry-flavoured anything tastes better than actual strawberries. Real strawberries are too sour.

I've always had a similar problem. With fruits in general, actually, but it seems more apparent with strawberries. Every time I try to eat an actual fruit, there's just no flavor and it makes me gag. Heck, most summers I try making homemade strawberry lemonade, and I end up having to load up on the strawberries far more than what the recipe calls for because I just can't taste them otherwise. I dunno if I'm just super unlucky or if there's something genuinely wrong with my taste buds. xD

I'm going to try to quit as much social media as possible (Twitter, Reddit, etc.) It has lead to heightening anxiety and some really bad patterns of thinking, such as the thought that everyone out there is toxic/evil and out to hurt and/or abuse me, despite all evidence to the contrary. Also thoughts like "it will never get better" or "things will only keep getting worse."
Wish me luck.

Census of Bluey's yard and garden:
- A patch of coneflowers covered in bumblebees and two monarch butterflies - Other bees and miscellaneous bugs feeding from black-eyed susans - Zinnias visited by a hummingbird and a black swallowtail butterfly - A few sunflowers blooming with more on the way - A robin's nest above the porch with three newly-hatched chicks
Dishonorable mention: A groundhog that's been helping itself to my carrots. (Much to my dismay =_= )
