I'd like to get reviews for my 500th comics. Is it best to keep them secret, though? ^_^ Well it depends. If you think it needs some work, you should ask to have it reviewed. If you think it's fine and just want to show it off, you should probably wait until 500 to build up the suspense. But really it's up to you. SOooooo... I got an acceptance letter for my series, which starts this week. And since it is 7 parts, the final part will be in Issue 500! Yay! |

Scar and I are collaborating on a short-story-possibly-series-if-it-gets-too-long. xD Now to prod him to work on it. *chuckles*

*frets* I'm two-thirds done my series and I'm hoping I can get the last part done this week, but I have no idea if Droplet will have the time or energy to review a series — even if it is only three parts — in just over a month, especially since other 500 entries will be pouring in at about the same time.
... *should have just stuck to a short story* =/

Me and my buddy (Who's not on NTWF) just got our series held over so there's a pretty good chance that we'll be going through issue 500. I know it's not as cool as having an actual 500 themed piece it, but I'm still happy  |

I'm planning on submitting my comic for the 500th issue after the 495th issue is released this weekend (around the 23rd of May) - is that too early?

People have said after the 495th issue is a good time to submit. It gives you about a month to go through the whole held-over/accepted process =)
I sent mine in yesterday, actually. For some reason, I thought I remembered last Friday's issue being the 495th. Oh well =P

I managed to survive the horror that is exams, and wasted a few days jumping around doing nothing. Short story is done now, though. It...didn't turn out at all like how I originally planned it to be, but that's alright. I sort of like it this way.
Probably not #500 worthy material, but I digress. It was fun.

I barely started mine yesterday, I'm going with the issue 500 theme, got 869 words so far, I hope to finish it this week so I'll still be in time. *crosses fingers*

I just submitted 6 parts out of 7 of my Techopalooza/Off Season (but mostly Techopalooza) comic arc, which starts with a really golden issue 500 comic instead of my typical black and white. xD
Still working on the last part, hehe, Only have 1 panel (out of... 6) almost done.
