I started drawing some forum personas today, just for the heck of it. =3 I have no clue where any of them would fit in the plot yet, but it still looks cool. xD Ahaha it's me, awesome. XDDD ...I find it mildly amusing, however, that you drew the persona I use on my site minus glasses rather than the Ninja PFA I use here on the NTWF (who has a slightly different outfit, looking like this). Whatev though, still is awesome. <3 It started out like that, actually, minus the katana on the back. But I changed it because the blue looks really sharp next to Omni's orange skin. It's like Sonic and Tails. xD

My main little nitpick is that I changed my persona to be digitigrade (walking on her toes, not using her heels). If you don't know how to animate that, you could leave it as-is. ...or maybe I could draw a reference? I also noticed that her collar is white, the undersides of her wings are yellow, and there's no streak on her ear. If you need the first two as-is so they can be seen better, I'll understand. I'll particularly let the last one slide since it's only on one ear and you're probably just using sprite-flipping code to change directions.

I'll consider it a challenge. ^^ I was just messing around this morning, so I didn't put too much effort on accuracy. Plenty of room for modifications still. Even if your characters don't make it into the plot, it would still be pretty neat if they jumped in as a cameo appearance and commented on how much they beta tested the game. xD Ooh, idea! Maybe at the end of the game when Ikkin finally regains her memory and returns to NTWF, you guys can be on the ship that takes her home, and after the credits are done, Ikkin can walk around the ship and talk to people about how the game was developed and tested. ^^ I'd probably need to put myself on the ship too, but in knight armor instead of space armor. x3

You could always cameo NTWFers at the end of the game when Ikkin's got her memory back.

I like to be able to still explore the main area of a game after finishing it. Without having to start the game over. ...I'm still wondering what would happen if Omni walked into, say, Terris Town like that.

Indeedsy. ^_^ If she suddenly gets flashbacks while regaining her memory, they could also appear in the flashbacks. Ooh, idea! Tren would probably yell at her for not having any clothes on. xD But anyway, I think the ship would be out at sea, but you'd have the option to return so that you can continue to adventure even after the plot is finished.

Ooh! Maybe when you're on the boat, the cameos will all be there and say certain things for just Ikkin and the player. But when you leave the boat to explore the land, they do too, theoretically and you can find them in the towns interacting with NPCs and such.

That'd be an interesting way to insert credit nods. XD

Ooh, that would be neat! ^_^ It would also open up the possibility of a new dilemma sweeping over Megatia that requires the teamwork of everyone involved, so to speak. But i'll finish the rest of the game first and see where it goes. xD That'd be an interesting way to insert credit nods. XD Aye, and it's a lot more noticeable than just a scrolling text with your name on it. x3

If so, I want to be in a house full of (non targetable) monsters. XD

A combination of both. =D and anything that I designed. XD Gotcha. I'll throw in a few botans for good measure, once I figure out a place to put your pad. xD On a different note, I have some good news regarding the game. ^_^ FableQuest is starting to get some exposure outside of the NTWF, especially in the "klik" community of Multimedia Fusion developers. I was recently asked to create a short trailer for the game to be featured on the 15th episode of Klikcast, a web show for indie games. Since the episode has been aired already, i've uploaded the trailer to Youtube if you're interested: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OutbNKv7Fp4Gameplay-wise, the trailer doesn't display any part of the game you guys haven't already played through, but it was enough to spark the interest of others. :3

I have a question. Assuming you're able to finish FQ within a reasonable amount of time, do you have any plans for it? Would you consider submitting it to a full-scale production company, sell it, or use it to advertise yourself? Just curious.
