I'd go for making bushes drop more ore and increasing crop value. I didn't even find that secret area, nor would every person playing through the game for the first time. I found the secret area right away, on my first time going through that part. XD It's in the most obvious place ever.

PFA, that's some major lag. It only takes me a few minutes normally, if I ignore all of the monsters in my path. With that being considered, I really must commend you and Omni for spending so much time on the game. Thank you. ^^; Yeah, that's the trick Pacmanite. ^^ I see that you're level 9 too, so you shouldn't have any major problems killing this dungeon's boss. I managed to defeat her as early as level 7.

A quick question that I forgot to ask earlier: Can trees be cut down at all?
I still think it's funny that Ikkin can slice through a wooden barrel with two strikes, yet it takes multiple slashes to cut down a wheat stalk. XD
I just got to the dark forest place, it's pretty. 8D

I can't figure out where the fire dust or whatever is... >_>

Don't feel too bad, I couldn't find out how to get it, either. XD I'm now assuming that I need an empty bottle to gather it, but I haven't had the time to test the game today. XD

XD I just got to the dark forest place, it's pretty. 8D Aww, thanks. ^^ And yeah, I didn't really put much thought into that one. xD The thing about making the trees destructible is that, in reality, I have two versions of each type of tree: a background tree and an active tree. Active trees can be interacted with, but eat up a lot more memory than background trees. Background trees, however, can't be interacted with aside from the fact that they block the player. I usually use background trees around the edges of forest maps. If I make trees destructible, it will only apply to some trees and not all of them, so it might raise some eyebrows when one tree can be cut down and another is invulnerable. xD; As for fire dust, there are several underground caves in the forest that have some. One cave can be accessed by using Spin Attack on a ring of rocks, while another can be accessed by Power Striking your way through a wall of stones.

I noticed the active vs background trees... maybe have the destroyable trees look different? Like... already half chopped, or smaller?
Really? I glitched Ikkin accross some water to find mine. 8D

Enter the Dyre Forest. Go west until you go all the way to the edge of the world map; you'll need to exit one area by using Power Attack on some rocks in the lower-left hand corner. Then, go north until you reach map square E1. There should be a cave in the cliff. Inside this cave are piles of fire dust. It's also in the Dyre Forest. You can hit up to four rocks at once using a Spin Attack, and then you have to hit the remaining two manually. Once you've done so, you should hear the "secret found" jingle, and there should be a hole in the ground somewhere in that area.

Oooohh... so you're not supposed to glitch Ikkin over the river?
>_> <_<

Feature suggestion: Could you add an option to use WASD as the controls to walk around, in place of the arrow keys? It's just that with the location of the controls to jump, attack, and such, I'd like to be able to do everything with my left hand without having to move it, and then my right hand would be free to use the mouse. (Plus, I'm a bit used to having it that way on WoW.)
With those controls, you could probably use the 'k' button for your skills menu instead of the 's' button.
It would also be nice to be able to see how much experience you get whenever you kill monsters, solve puzzles, etc.

Hmm... Perhaps I could do both. ^_^ Like, both the arrow keys -and- WASD would work. I'd have to think about it though... Having two sets of movement keys would make it drastically easier to shake yourself out of grappling attacks later on. xD;
As for visible experience, perhaps on-screen text messages would work nicely, so that when a monster is killed or an item is picked up, it tells you what it is and how much.

Y'know, arrow keys vs. WASD? Or along that train of thought, you could just do customizable controls altogether. XD; But that could cause issues with the menu and such, huh...

Whoa, I tried exploring the top of the map where the scenery changes to a deserty plateau kind of scene, and the background music is just mad =D I keep dying though. Well, I am on like, level 7, and the monsters do about as much damage to me as I do to them... I managed to get to the gateway of Otanis, but the guards stopped me and asked who sent me xD And I just guessed the first name that popped into my head, Milly xD. On hindsight I probably should have guessed Jarth or Jeena... maybe even Armon. Oh, and Tren. But this whole desert themed, locust-inhabited place seems pretty cool so far. Except that I keep dying ... would it be too much of a spoiler to ask how much of the map is accessible beyond the point where the guards stop and ask for who sent you? ^^ edit: I'm wondering what I'm supposed to do with that little hole in the ground there, here in the top-left corner of the map, A1 I can't for the life of me work it out.

The game ends after the spider cave. o_0 Did I download wrong or something? (Don't worry, I trained myself against spoilers to look away as soon as I recognize it as one.) EDIT: OH! Nevermind, I thought I missed something. Hmm... I bet the sender is someone we haven't met yet with a name we can't guess. I do like the theme very much. ^_^ But it'll take a bit of time before I won't be very tempted to run away from the enemies.
