"Hey, I didn't do this!" Demyx protested, heaving Ziv off of his lap and brushing off his jeans. "She ran into me!" Ziv groaned, feeling at her head as she sat up.
"Ow," she moaned. One of her green eyes opened and she glared feircely at Demyx. "Hey, why didn't you move?" She demanded, rubbing at her head. There was going to be a nasty bruise there soon. She shook her head at the Thirecat. "I'm fine," she said, brushing her hair out of her face. "But your friend is going to get hurt soon." She glared at the Nobody.
"It's not my fault!" Demyx said with pathetic innocence. "Everyone's blaming me!"

"Well, I guess you two don't know anything," Xaldin snartled, hefting the spear over one shoulder. "I need to find Vexen, if he's still alive." He lifted one hand, but nothing happened. Xaldin tried again. Nothing. His eyes widened. No portal...

"That's a gross exaggeration, Xaldin," Zexion said coolly. "If I were you, I wouldn't reprimand others about lack of knowledge when you yourself can't even open a portal. This is out of character for me, but I suppose I can do this one favor."

Zexion struck out his right hand and opened a portal. "Happy? Now go look for Vexen. I might as well stay here. Trouble is not my middle name."

Xaldin resisted an irritated glare at Zexion. "Thanks," he said after a moment, stepping towards the portal. He paused just in front of it. Slowly, he turned. "Wait, what are you going to do?" he asked Zexion. He looked first at the Nobody, then at Larxene. The Whirlwind Lancer smirked. "Have fun," he taunted, and stepped into the portal.
