"Something is not right here," Vexen said softly. It wasn't long before the scientist realized what was strange about the place. He pointed at the sky. "Look at that. Kingdom Hearts is... behaving strangely."
Indeed, the usually pale yellow shape in the sky was now glowing faintly pink. Vexen shook his head. "I wonder what happened... I should go see the Superior."

Demyx stretched out his hand, concentrating his strength into the palm of it. He waited for a couple seconds, then dropped his hand. "Nope," he said cheerfully. "I can't work with water anymore." He took another bite out of the food packet, and his left hand began creeping for the box of seasalt icrecream bars.
Maybe....when the Superior wasn't looking....

Saix found himself at the other end of the portal, lying facedown in the dirt. He coughed, and painfully started to push himself up. He sank back down with a groan. He still couldn't move. He could lie here either, though. He tipped his head to the side and concentrated on each breath. Breathe in. Breathe out. His eyes scanned the scenery. Where was he?
((OOC: Saix is in the World that Never Was. But seeing as he failed Geography class, he doesn't know that yet :3))

Xemnas glanced at him. "Well, keep trying. I'm sure it will come back to you." Inwardly, he was beginning to grow annoyed. Maybe it was a waste of time coddling Demyx like this. If he and Demyx were still alive... he needed to find out if any of the other Nobodies remained. It would take a while, but rebuilding Kingdom Hearts was beginning to be an actual possibility.
"I wish we had Zexion with us," he murmured, half to himself. "It would help, having someone who could sense if any of the others were nearby." Of course, Zexion himself was one of the others who was missing. Unfortunately. Even if the illusionist had been stripped of his powers like Demyx, he would still have been useful.

Vexen was about to start for the castle when he heard a low moan. He stiffened, preparing to summon his weapon if necessary. "Stay here," he muttered to Larxene and Zexion. Moving slowly and cautiously, he followed the source of the sound.
The scientist almost stopped breathing in shock when he saw the person who had given the cry. "Saix," he whispered. He dropped to one knee. "What happened to you?"

"Am I the only one not mortally wounded and with a violent grudge against someone?" Zexion muttered to himself. "Not counting Axel."
Turning to Vexen, who was slinking towards the distant noise. "And why would I follow your orders? I find myself more, ah, able than you at the moment."
Zexion strode up beside Vexen, who was on his knees. "Oh, marvelous," Zexion said, resisting rolling his eyes. "More wounded Nobodies. Next we'll find The Superior sucking his thumb and clutching his stomach."

"So, Saix, who was it?" Zexion asked softly. "Riku, or Sora? Sora seems to be setting the record for most beaten Nobodies." His gloved fists clenched.

(( I am very, very tempted to make Saix suddenly point up at Vexen and be like "I'm mortally injured and I have to be stuck with you, drat it!!" But...I won't..))
"Sora?" Saix laughed, and had to wipe some of the blood away from his mouth. Vexen helped the blue-haired sit up, and Saix grunted his thanks. "Xaldin did this," Saix told Zexion, glancing ruefully down at his blood soaked gloves. "I don't know what happened...I guess Sora and his white haired friend did beat me....I didn't die though." Saix looked wearily around at all of them. "I guess none of us did." Saix had to pause for breath; why was he so tired? "Xaldin did this," he repeated. "After...after I fought Sora.....I don't know where I was...but Xaldin was with me. He went crazy and....did this." Saix began coughing; he fell forward on one hand to keep himself from crumpling.
"Curse that Sora," he gritted. "We need revenge." His eyes began glowing. "We must get revenge.."
((Forgive me for borrowing Elc, Vexen.....

Step One: Where was he? Xaldin cautiously looked around the edge of the door, finding himself staring down a long metal hall. His eyes rolled from side to side, double checking. He was alone. Still gripping the lance tightly, he slid around the door, and shut it behind him. Xaldin tried to be quiet, but the door was heavier than he thought; instead of clicking softly beind him when he let go of it, the door swung shut with a resounding boom. The sound bounced between the walls, echoing through the building. Xaldin's spine straightened painfully, and he looked around in panic, but he heard nothing. No one came running to aprehend him.
Breathing a sigh of relief, the Whirlwind Lancer started down the hall, one step at a time. He wondered if anyone was here..and if they were, could he just blend it with them? Probably not. A 6' 3" tall man in a bloodied black cloak walking around with a heavy lance was not status quo. So...what does that mean? He wondered. Will I have to kill anyone I meet?
Which brought him back to the question at hand. Had he killed someone already?

((Bah, I am not letting this die. xD I just thought of a nice plot twist which I will post as soon as I have the time.
Meanwhile, Xivvy, post something with Saix and Demyx. You forget that we're all waiting for them to respond. XD

There was a soft clink of metal on metal.
Xaldin suddenly found his way blocked by a Keyblade at his throat, though the weapon bore designs he had never seen before. And the wielder was not Sora. He met not the blue eyes of the Keybearer, but the cold faceless mask of a figure in armor. By its contours, it could have been female, though with the entire body obscured by thick armor, it was impossible to tell if she was even human.
For some reason, sand was settling on the ground around her metal boots. Despite the visor that hid her face, he could feel her gaze on him as her voice entered his mind directly. Nonexistant one. Today you will die.
((Um. Just realized. That would have been very bad etiquette if I hadn't already asked Ziv if I could borrow Xaldin. She said yes. So. If you wanna godmode, be sure to get the other person's permission first XDDD))

Xaldin didn't waste time on words of bravado. He leapt backwards, staggering a little, and brought up the lance to point at her. His arm shook; it was so heavy. He couldn't fight with this, not for long. If only he could still use air-
There wasn't time to think. Xaldin hoisted the lance, and braced himself for the attack.

"Yes. The others may be here." Xemnas stood up and walked to the door, dumping a pile of clothing on the center of the floor. "You had better put some of that on. Our uniforms are rather conspicuous when all of us are supposed to be dead."

Vexen straightened. "I really must get down to the laboratory, then. If something has damaged Kingdom Hearts, it could spell trouble for us all."
He was struck again by how different the sky looked. "How long were we at Oblivion?" he whispered, too softly for the others to hear.

The Chaser lunged with an inhuman shriek that hung on the air, and her Keyblade slammed against his lance with a bone-jarring clash. There were a few minutes of silent struggle; then a second blade appeared in her other hand. She brought it up under his guard, slamming hard into his chest.

Demyx hastily snatched up a shirt and a pair of pants, and scurried out the door. "Thankyou, Superior," he said, heading down the hall to find a room. It was time to explore the town.

Saix painstakingly got up. He almost reached for Larxene for balance, but pulled his hand back. His head ached. "So we need to find the others?" He asked weakly, trying to make sense of everything. Why couldn't he think?

If the sword hadn't hit Xaldin's zipper, he would have died. The thick leather of their coats protected some blows, but an upercut like that would have killed Xaldin. Luckily for Xaldin's second chance at life, the tip of the sword nailed his hard metal zipper. With a metallic cling, the sword bounced to one side, harmlessly grazing off of Xaldin. The Nobody took the chance. Shoving with all his might on his lance, he drew back one foot and kicked. The sole of his boot caught the Chaser high in the chest; there was a soft crunch, and with a groan, the Chaser staggered back. The pressure on his lance weakened. Xaldin whipped back the lance, and with an inhuman scream, stabbed with all his might at the Chaser.
